What is going on in the North Pacific? After I quit invading I moved there- it looked like a very democratic place. I was having fun, had a nice bunch of endorsements, etc. UPS Rail took over, blah blah blah, Great Bight took over... then I left for a two week trip into the Boundary Waters. I just got back, and Im in the RR and people are bitching about the mods, accusing Max Barry of supporting Great Bight, etc. Could someone fill me in on the chain of events? Im confused and I dont know what to think...

I think they are mad because they are not good enough to be a U.N. Delegate.

Politics as usual, somebody is always pissed off at those in charge.

Yes, i would like to know as well. I used to have a puppet there and i am getting so confused by the constant changing of Delegates, and the ejection of the "Old Crowd" who used to switch Delegacy between them.

All I know is that there's been a lot of invading madness. I think UPS Rail took it over. There is a thread on the North Pacific somewhere, but it degenerated into lots of people singing "Badger, badger, badger, badger, mushroom, mushroom"...
Oooh! And there was a mod mistake which resulted in the wrong people being booted, I think.

The "Old Crowd", as well as practically every active member of the region.

What has happened is that Great Blight promised to fix the damage that the last delegate caused. Then he worstened the whole darn situation.

We've had so many intelligence reports that we don't know what to make of them. Some seem to believe that the NPO has taken over with a puppet/sympathetic member. Some say that it's just power-hungry people. God knows what. You won't get a straight answer from anyone who actually knows the proper answers.

this sure sucks. I think GB is some "delegate by accident" who had power go to his head. unless he was planted by Francos... I guess we will never know.
could someone fill me in on all the shouting about the moderators?

The fact is that the people gave him endorsements, so he was made delegate. Thats the way the system works. If they want someone else then endorse someone else.

You don't get it. He ejects anyone who gains endorsements. There is no possibility of him being overthrown from within.

Endorsements Received: 120
Nowhere near as much as Twoslit once had.
I would like to know whoes side Magicality was on though. S/He is 23 days inactive and resides in the RR, along with Twoslit and probably more Ex-Delegates and their supporters.
For the legal side of things i suggest you visit here to try and find some answers
