Hmm... maybe 50-150 members... Stance? What do you mean by that?

You could be looking at months of work for that amount of nations, depends how much time you have for NS though.

Stance - what is it going to do?

Role-play, invade, defend, neutral, place to chat etc

I see...neutral... but involved in intra-regional politics.

Probably mostly a place to chat [a maybe role-play]

Just pick a name, give it a theme or a purporse or something that sets it apart from the other thousands of regions out there, develop yourself a recruitment letter, and start sending it to as many people as you can without being annoying. (Give this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=301514) a quick look through for quick pointers on how best not to be annoying.)

Once you start getting people, let them help shape the region if they wish. Give them opportunities to get involved. Build off site forums, a government, ties with other regions or specific ties between the nations in a region.

There's other ways to go about it, this is a brief outline of what I did to build my region, with a few generalizations and some differences. I built it up to 80 nations in about four months, but it's never been extremely active. You are looking at quite a bit of work, but it can be really fun, too.

Create a nice factbook entry. This will be the major recruiting tool for nations that visit your regions home. Recruiting is another important thing. Try and get a nation elected as regional delegate if the nation is active. It can be a team accomplishment. I am really tired, so i can only give limited advice, hehe.
