My country doesn't make many cars anymore, we're a mining country, so why should we have to be rated by the amount of cars we make? Maybe the amount of mining I do should be counted, or the amount of baskets I weave every year. Am I missing something?

Yeah, you're missing the fact that everyone gets rated on all industries, and that eventually mining and basket weaving will come up as well. Just be patient. :wink:

As Serengarve has said, everyone is rated for everything, as long as you were formed before the current rating happened (or am I mistaken?). For example, my country is 2nd in my region for the highest corporate welfare, while my nation has a state economy (in non-RP terms).
In a more logical sense, your nation would propbably retain parts of every industry, regardless of how small it is. An agricultural economy would probably still produce some home-grown cars, and an industrial economy would probably produce some food as well.
