Libertarianism

It doesn't surprise me that the maker of the game isn't as familiar with libertarianism as I am, but I have to say that as a libertarian, I don't like the fact that my nation pays a flat income tax. Any income tax is wrong, as it is stealing the fruits of one's labor. Some libertarians suggest a consumption tax instead. I personally disagree with this because consumption taxes are inherently regressive. I personally support a land value tax, as proposed by Henry George (http://www.progress.org/books/george.htm). Anyway, I'm not trying to start a debate over the merits of this system, just pointing out that there are other, more libertarian means of taxation than a flat tax.

Some libertarian's aren't as radical as you. Also, if you got the right issues, you could drive your tax rates down. Besides - it's alot easier and generally correct to put income tax as the main tax on the page, since that's where most of your taxes go in most states.
