Hello!

I have created a nation – The United States of Gemeria – and wish to run it in a more creative manner than the usual one. I’ve decided that I’d like to have a real democracy – with a real congressional, executive, and judicial branches, elected officials, a constitution and so forth. People will involved in the nation will elect congressmen and the Chief Executive. The Chief Executive and Congress will appoint Justices for the nation’s highest court. Congress will vote on issues the nation faces. The Chief Executive will take charge of regional and otherwise international affairs. The Courts will make sure that no other branch oversteps their limits. Please note that until we get enough members, I will act as Chief Executive and make all decisions for the nation.

In short, this nation will basically operate like a democratic region, with many parts focusing on constructing the whole. Except, to make it more complicated, the nation may join a region, and then the people may need to also vote on regional affairs.

No, no one will know my password. The politcal system will decide what to do, and I will do it.

As far as rewards are concerened, the only thing you'll get from this is fun, excitment, and possibly a position of power in a powerful nation (if this thing gets off the ground, and if we get powerful).

I'm hoping we can get alot of people on-board, but it doesn't look likely....

I may be interested, though im curious, with a full cabinet of people on one nation, and only limited time to vote on alot of things on NS, do you expect to be running fast?

basically, you would need alot of nations for teh system to work, 20 upwards, which is pretty hard to get... (especially for people like me who are to lazy to recruit)

I know about the democratic regions, but lets say there are twenty members in this one nation alone, we got to wait until all 20, or a large majority have casted their votes, once this has all been done, providing it is done in time. Then the nation has to cast its overall vote within the region it is in and/or the UN Proposal.

It just seems like a long complex process to me, and waiting for everyone to be active, may take longer than the poll being open.

If I can get assurance that the cabinet will be active, then I may consider signing up.

What will happen is that the people elect congress at regular intervels. The congress then decides on what to do with issues, what laws to make for RP purposes, etc. The Cheif Executive is similar to the president of the US. The judicial branch makes sure no one oversteps their boundires or violates the constitution.
