Back in the earlier days of nationstates, the UN was designed as a interaction and major discussion point for the game. As the number of nations rapidly increased, the UN's influence became less and less. Now the UN's decisions aren't seen as important to the game by many nations. What has replaced it is regional politics. My idea is to start a congress that is made up of representitives from many different regions. There they can debate and resolve the issues like in the United Nations, but effecting all nations in a region. I have decided to take the next step and start this movement. Actually, I already started working on the idea of a United Regions Organization. I'm planning the 1st United Regions Conference in the second week of July, that Conference will draw up a Charter and will appoint the initial staff of the United Regions.
