I am over the 3 billion mark for people. Who else is over 3 billion? there should be about 950 other nations over 3 billion.

I've been over 3 billion for a while now.

Stupid pop bug.....they never toned the populations down from it yet?

I do have one nation what got the Pop bug, over 24 hours it sent from 500 million to 1.5 billion.
cannot recall which at the moment, as there are too many,

actually I joined about a month after you, my date should be Jan 25th, but due to the buggy forums around that time it didnt register my account until February.
I could complain about that, but I dont let it rule me.

one of my puppets founded around first of february 2003 is probably over 3 billion now thanks to my habitual neglect of it.

how could they fix pop bug errors? they would know who is lying or not. plus growth rate for day to day varies from 5-7 million. so over time a nations made after another could out grow it if it stayed at 7 million a day and the older nation at 5, or ever 6-7.

we should start a 3 billion club of somekind

Er and loop... I love you to death but that is like... the most improbable thing I've ever heard. The pop bug made your population grow twice as fast as normal... not 1 billion in two updates. And issues, answered or not, killing citizens or encouraging them to have sex, HAVE NO EFFECT ON YOUR POPULATION. NONE.

the next day I logged into it again and boom, over a billion.

and well, the issues have to have some play in your daily pop, as for example, I have a few puppets up to two weeks older than Loop with more populaion. and I never answer issues with them,
it matters not, Im almost there, and I really dont pay attention to anything like that anumore, lo.

Again, dude... issues have NOTHING to do with it. Those puppets that you noticed probably happened to get updates of 7 million while your main nation was getting 5 million. The bigger your nation is, the more noticable the difference.

accually i think the pop bug takes all the growth from the other nations in your region and gives it to yours. Ive seent that happen a few times. no one in the region grow for like 3 days except for the one that takes all the other nations growth.

Ive seent that happen a few times. no one in the region grow for like 3 days except for the one that takes all the other nations growth. You know... I really don't think that's true either. The pop bug occurs when the update comes to one nation twice: giving them an extra issue, and for the major update, an extra population boost anywhere from 5 to 7 million.

There is such thing as a 'reverse' pop bug, where the update doesn't come to your nation at all - no new issues and no pop growth - but its occurance is completely unrelated to the pop bug. Could have happened in the same region, but not necessary and probably not even likely.

Ohhh yea, ya have my sympathy....though you're stronger than most, just loop is usually enough to drive most people off the cliff....

when the pop bug occured all other nations in the region stoped growing and recieving issues. this occured for 3 days. and it cant be only 5-7 it was about 100million jump

If it makes you feel better, I was founded the same day he was, and am at aout 2.6B.

Also, Unfree is correct. Issues have no effect on population growth. Trust me, I've seen the code.
