I am from gangsta land a reigion founded by my brother and i am from The Federation of Pweater, I just wanted to knw what the actual meaning of nationstates is...are you supposed to build alliances and become the most powerful? or are you just supposed to play with a nation? what is the actual aim here?? Any help would be appreaciated.
There's many different ways to play. Some people just like to build military powers, join the U.N., and region crash. Some people pretend they are actually governments. Some are just goofy. There's no real way to win or lose.

This thread ought to go in Gameplay, I guess, if you're asking what there is to do on NS.
You can... role play, in the NationStates and International Incidents forums. You can participate in Gameplay and regional politics; start by looking in the region guide (located in gameplay) to find an active and fun looking region. Or, you can hang around posting here in General and find a pointless but friendly region wherein people just chat.
Temme is right... there's no "aim" to the game. You can try to become dominant in the world of role play or gameplay, but that's not the point of the game at all. Just something fun to do.
