Whats with some people having titles like "The Crazy world of" "The Somewhatconfusedpersonages of" "The Promised Land of" their not choices me or my friends get. How were they achieved?
When your population reaches 500 million you can customise your own title.
What happens is that once you get 500 million population you can type in a custom title. Your pupulation inccreases daily by the way, nothing special affects it I think

Well, if I'm not mistaken, you can increase/decrease your population with certain issues, specifically ones regarding refugees and immigration, though there may be some other ones I am not aware of.

I believe there is a slightly random element but it is jsut in how much you increase a day or something, and probably varies every day, I'm positive the issues don't affect it at least
I can fully confirm that issues do not affect your population.

i think it takes roughly 3 months to get on 500 million..
