Tonight, May 25th at one minute past midnight we will celebrate the longest standing Delegacy in the game of Nationstates.
The Delegacy of 1 Infinite Loop.
Elected one year ago tonight at the behest of Lothlandemore (our previous Delegate) to maintain the peace and stability in the region.
Over the last year we have faced many challenges, and many trials but the People of the East Pacific are strong and overcame them all.

We were the first region to catch the National Stalinists, and reports from Myself allowed the Mods to delete over 80 UN multies involved in the raid as well as the griefers using scripts to attempt to seize the region.
We fought off invasions from outsiders and potential miscreants we have fought apathy and disinterest from within.

Today the East Pacific is in the top 5 of all regions, where once we were ranked even below player created regions.
We have strong ties to some of the best regions in the game, the South Pacific, the Heartland, to name two.

All this and we have maintained regional Peace.
Today is more than an anneversary for a Delegate, it is a day , no a week of Festivities for the entire region.

How can you claim that?? I'm sure there's been a delegate around longer than a mere year - in fact I know the delegate of the region which introduced me to NationStates (Illusion Islands (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_region/region=illusion_islands)) has been delegate as long as their nation's been alive, which was March '03.

So, um, congrats, but you don't quite win the prize ;)

I asked Rep to verify and there is no way to verify it, other than the fact that I have not left teh EP for a year.

Actually, we're in for a wave. Norion's Delegacy turns a year old in a couple of days. Mine, three weeks. Ladyrebels is not far off.

Except that Franco's delegacy has been interceded with Poskrebyshev's, and Lady Rebel's with Matt-Duck's..... so they don't really count, now do they?

Am I becoming the official party pooper yet? It's all sour grapes.

Actually with FS I think we are looking at the NPO anneversary.
