I invite you to join a new region at Nationstates - Futura. A region with economic freedom and the desire to grow. Liberal and conservative democracies with economic freedom are especially welcomed, but others as well, as long as they accept the souvereignity of the other countries in the Region. The regional courency is the Euro. The founder of the region is Kybernetia.

I would like to see many Nations joining this new region.

I like the idea of your region, but why are you suggesting ecomomical freedom yet introducing a regional currency? Isn't part of each nations economical freedom to have their own currency?

If any regional currency would be implied, I would suggest that regional states would still have the freedom to have their own currency. Consumers and businesses will eventually sort that out; strong currencies will be in demand and weak currencies will disappear by them selves. That is economic freedom.

You are absolutly right. I have been a member of the European Union before I decided to leave it and finally (after taking a look into other regions) decided to found a new region. But I kept the currency at first and now (after your hint) changed it.
I agree with you that every nation of the region should have the right to have its own currency. Regarding the use of regional or international currencies: that´s a decision of any business to do by itself. I don´t want to prejudice that in any form to which countries and regions they are going to trade. Therefore I also decided to reintroduce a national currency in order not to be bound to the EU.
