Northeaston

The Kingdom of Northeaston seeks to relocate from the South Pacific to a new region. Preferably somewhere in the northeast, where there's lots of snow and pine trees. :D

The August Locale of Knurlyhood could be the region for you, we tend to have a lot of snow, considering that many of our nations rank low for best weather, although we feel that they're biased against cold weather at the UN. If you're interested, telegram us for the password.

Urbanites (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_region/region=urbanites) is a politically mixed region of 60-70 nations: large enough to be active and fun, small enough that you don't get lost in the crowd. We're fairly friendly and tolerant too.

We're going to be redoing our regional map soon, most of the jostling is for the sunnier parts so there's bound to be space in the cooler parts!

By all means check us out - if you like what you see, move in (there's no password). If you don't, I suggest you check the Unofficial NS Directory Thread near the top of this forum, very good resource that one is.

We aren't in the northeast of anything, but I can promise (http://www.where-rv-now.com/Log/2003/Ned/SnowScene2.jpg) lots of (http://www.skipressworld.com/images/daily_news/2003/10/Taos-snow-oct.jpg) pretty snow (http://www.where-rv-now.com/Log/2003/Ned/Ponderosa.jpg) and some (http://www.nmosg.com/images/Mountain_Snow.jpg) nice pine trees (http://www.cloudcroft.com/photos/snow.jpg). (Warning: large images.)

Region: New Mexico (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_region/region=new_mexico)

And yes, those are all images from RL New Mexico (a state in the US).
