Tavarish!
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I am Comrade-Secretary V. Hruschovich Ilyukov, representing the Union of the Soviets. I would like to invite your nation to join, that together we may grow strong and allow our peoples to grow proud of the nation they are a part of.
I'm sure you must be recalling the atrocities committed by certain leaders in the previous Soviet Union. However, I assure you that there will be no Stalin in this Union! We do not have a strongly centralised government or military, so there is no significant threat of a single madman condemning the entire region to a dictatorship; furthermore, powers are relegated to different officials.
More importantly, however, is our strong commitment to civil rights and political freedoms; so strong, in fact, that we require certain standards of both in our regional membership. Our primary focus is on improving the lives of people around the globe, and this great work starts at home in the Union.
If you are interested, we would love to have you join our region: Union of the Soviets. If you have any problems doing so, or would like to ask any questions before making your final decision, feel free to send a telegraph.
