What happened to my nation?

My country used to be Democratic Socialist, but now it says I'm an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. But I didn't decide anything in the issues to make it that way.

My question is, does dismissing the "democracy should be compulsory" issue change your country's government? It's the only thing I could think of that would do it. (The reason I dismissed it in the first place was because I already answered it when I first made my country).

And if that is the case, how can I go back to being Democratic Socialist?

Sorry if I put this in the wrong forum, but I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong.

When you dismiss an issue it should not change your ratings. You will get alot of repeat issues. If you answer them, they will help your rating increase or decrease. To go back to a Democratic Socialist you probably need to pass some more laws even if they are repeats.

Jeditopia has it right here, it could also be that the system takes a while to change, so it could have been something you did a day ago.

Dismissing issues has no effect on your nation. Some issues affect your nation over a period of time. It may have been due to an issue you decided on long ago.

One of your decisions on issues improved your economy. DS's have an authoritarian economy and ICD's have a centrist economy.

Based on your description:

Citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, college students make ends meet by selling their kidneys, citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits, and pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government. I think it was your decision on Issue #27 where you allowed people to sell their organs. What that option does is increase your economy by one step, decrease your taxes by 1% and increase your crime level by one or two steps.

If you want to return to the title Democratic Socialists you'll have to pick the options that lower your economy. I'm surprised that your decision on Issue #107 didn't do it but UN Categories seem to have a great deal of inertia so just keep plugging away and it will change back.
