What do i do, just wait for daily issues, or is there more to it than that? Thanks in advance. John

Role playing (I think) is the meat of the game, it's a lot more fun than answering issues.

Hope that helps.

Roleplaying is certainly a fun option for those who enjoy it, and anyone can do it on their own.

If you prefer a more sociable or team-playing approach, move out of the vast "feeder" region into one with an identity, one you feel you have something in common with. Check the Unofficial NS Directory Thread at the top of this forum, which lists medium to large regions by politics, geography, themes, etc. Many have their own messageboards too. (I would recommend a region large enough to be active but small enough to notice you, ie 30-300 nations, or thereabouts.)

At a regional level you can play politics, run for UN Delegate or other positions in your region's government, or be part of invading or defending forces. For this type of play the basic unit of "currency" is the endorsement, which can only be given or received by UN members.

The game rules enforce one UN membership per person (and moderators will delete you for breaking those) and a newbie's endorsement is worth just as much as an older, bigger nation - so it's fair. :)

Other possibilities include crafting NS issues and UN proposals - here again, having support and feedback from fellow players is helpful.

Good luck, and have fun!
