NationStates Jolt Archive

Hey all!

As a fairly new country, I'm liking the game alot, but with no other countries in my region (it's password protected), I'm having some trouble finding nations I'd like to admit to it. Does anyone have any tips on how to recruit new members to the region?

Well, you can

1) Try and get your RL friends intersted
2) Troll the boards and make a shameless plug in every "Looking for a region" thread you see ;)
3) Visit the Reject Relms Regional Boards and try and recruit, i think some other regions, the Pacifics mostly, allow recruiting, but, in most regions, that wouldnt be a good idea

One thing you can do is ALWAYS discuss with a natio before you let them in, Do this via TG's or some other way. In my region, all members are Required to have AIM to speak with one another. Just try and find nations that match, well, whatever you're looking for, and interview them before you admit them
