Are there any nations out there ruled by an AI?
Just out of curiosity, has anyone got a nation that is ruled by an Artificial Intelligence? There seems to be a lot of movies, books and video games out there based on AI ruling countries or the world, has anyone got an AI-ruled nation on NationStates?

My arch enemy was ryuled by a rogue AI fro a while that destroyed his nation :P

My nation uses an AI as a political tool. While the AI(S) do not have the power to decide on which action to partake, government officials use them as a reference before making their final decision. They provide input on what the most logical choices’ are for the government to benefit to the majority of the populace.
At present there are three AIs in use:
Ithic - Political AI
Cadus - Military AI
??? - Public Terminal AI
Though I'm still refining the idea for use in an actual role-play arena, it’s fairly certain that the final product will closely resemble the system I have just described.
As for a nation been run by an AI? They may have crossed a line they shoudn't of...
According to popular theory, The Most Glorious Hack is actually an AI.

Technically, I am ruled by an AI, and so are a few of my puppets. There is also a nation called Sleeper Service who would be. But I never bothered with the RP aspect of it.

How can an AI rule a nation?
A puppet of mine, The Caloris Basin, is run by an AI. How? Easily. It is a research station, made up of a series of drones, robots, and the like. In fact, the only fully sentient denizen is Elijah, the AI in question.
And once I get that tax rate up to 100%, he'll have complete controll, bwa ha ha!
