First things first invaders please read the rules and make sure that the person you have picked to be delegate knows the rules and has been properly briefed.

Personally, I think that invasions should have a purpose or at least a theme behind them. I really hate the random crashing of regions (like China) unless they have a theme other than “We're crashers Ph34r US!!!!111 Teh ADN SuX0rz!!!!!1111” (So far this month, China has had two invasions like this! We know we can't stop you from invading us, but could you at least do something different!).

I mean what is the point of all this Anti-ADN/FF/RRA stuff? I think it is very boring to watch/participate in, I think that if a group randomly crashes opportunistic targets they should have an interesting theme behind them like a group of Pirates, Aliens, British Imperialists, Bond-style villains, Communist Revolutionaries, Red necks, Vikings, etc. taking over the region and once they invade with a theme they should keep it up and put some humour in it, it'll be more fun for you and probably more fun for the natives involved.

One group I particularly like to watch is the French, their invasions seem fun, and they're kind of humorous.

I lead an anti-invader region which is part of the ADN.

I suppose there is more bureaucracy than story-based role-play involved, but I guess that some of us like to play the technical maneuvre side of things with only the history of inter-regional relations to guide us, not having to write storylines. It is quite interesting on its own, if you are that way inclined. Not much fun for the natives, I admit. But we do what we can. :)

Regions without through traffic die. Spoffin and I led Mercia through a cold war with Blue Moon for three months last autumn, being more or less constantly passworded. It took a lot of skill and hard work to keep the numbers steady.
