Two nations with a combined population of 11 million? I think this is the most feeble world takeover bid we've seen yet. I'm almost in favour of abandoning my IGNORE cannon, allowing their entire army to march into my territory, and then unleashing the comparatively awe-inspiring force of my nation's terminally anaemic under-elevens on them.

A friendly tip: find some people who do play a significant part in the running of the world, and join them. Being an understudy requires patience, but it will get you far.

a rolling plain, so what, he's trying to take over Oklahoma? whats the point?
... maybe he likes watching tornadoes, I know I sure do like watching them on the weather channel!
Anyone remember the "ignore stick bomb"? Some guy invented it a long time ago; basically, your B-2 flies over the enemy territory and opens its bomb-bay doors. A solitary ignore stick falls and crushes the enemy with defeaning silence. In honor of that grand invention, consider such a stick dropped.

What is it about newbies everywhere that makes them set themselves the goal of conquering the world?
I mean think about it - the first time they do it in some game, they see how it doesn't work out. Do they go on to do the same in every other game they play? Or do we see a unique examble of newbery each time?

[Due to the fact diplomats are dealing with nations that have a higher collective IQ, your invitation has been responded to by the 89th Strategic Nuclear Strike Squadron.]
Hello and welcome, Solders.
It seems you are new to the international community, so your friends at New Empire are going to help you out.
First things first. Soldiers is spelled with an i. Or perhaps you were referring to the German word for mercenaries, Soldner, which has a n. Either way, you are making yourself look like an idiot.
Next, we'll go to counting.
Yes, big numbers can be scary, but they are also our friends. Now you think that there are 2000 nations in the world. You are wrong. If you'd paid more attention, you would have noticed the correct number is 650,000, which is significantly more than 2000. Not like you'd have a chance anyway.
Now, you cannot conquer the whole world. Nations more powerful than you have tried to do this in world history, and they failed. Anyone who tries this, especially at a young age, should shut up and be taken out and shot, preferably multiple times aboove the waist.
If you still want to go to war, start with us first. We've been in need of some live fire excersises.

No, I did actually spend the first few days reading all the stickies, observing regional events and asking Tech questions. I had Delegacy of one of the largest player-created regions in the game after three weeks. 8)

The People's Republic of Omni Bee, although consumed in a current political war, would love to oppose such a war. We would also kindly consider opposing Statedom in such a concept.
Please, let us know if such an option is viable.

Actualy, it would be quite easy to take over the world, you see, nobody exists.
This can be proven by the following formula:
Inhabited planets/Uninhabited planets
Since the multi/uni/whateververse can be said to be pretty much infinite in all its variations, and since only a limited number of worlds can be inhabited, it can be said that Uninhabited planets is equal to infinity, and any number divided by infinity is close enough to zero as makes no differnce.
So the population of 'everywhere' is zero. Anybody you meet is a product of your own imagination.

"Can do" kinda newbie, weren't you?
Personally, I wandered into general and got lost there for a few months, before stumbling into a mid-sized player region and claiming the delegacy (mostly through apathy in the rest of the region, I'll grant)
Dontgonearthere:
The only problem with this proof is that, by example, it can be proven wrong.
Also, although the universe is theoretically infinite in space, only a finite amount of matter exists. Therefore, the maximuium number of objects large enough to be considered planets is also finite, and although it will no doubt be a small fraction, this dramatically increases the fraction of planets that are inhabited.
Naleth
Sorry, "matter is finite" is a statement which cannot be qualified. No direspect intended.
Nope, by the laws of science and more importantly logic and common sense, matter is finite.

By common sense, sure, tho commoner are often wrong.
If you look into nano-whatever (physics, biology, what have you) there is the absolute possibility that we will never be able to account for all of the individal smallness that accoutns for the finite matter availble. So, I would agree and disagree with you. In whole, likely finite. In part, quite possibly never can find the smallest point, therefor it is possibly without limitation.
