How do I bring up my economy without ruining my Innofensive Centrist Democracy ranking? (via issues)

I know. I'm a good RPer, but I'm not good at bringing up my economy gameplay-wise.

I pay no attention to that stuff, as the minute I get my economy up, some inane UN resolution passes and Bam, Economy imploded, and taxes at 100% again.

This is not neccissarily true, although it is very likely. Economy (the displayed stats) is not the same as economic freedoms (the one that determines your UN Category). I ca tell you that I have had economies as high as Powerhouse while remaining a LLCS, and Goob used to have a Thriving while remaining a SLP IIRC.

That said...I raelly ca't help with specifics. I think that subsidizing industries has the effect you're looking for, since I know that given the choice I almost always subsidize my economy, but I can't tell you for sure let alone specific issue choices.

Hard to say... I'd like to point out that I have the highest level of economy possible, and yet I'm an ICD. I'd like to tell you how I did it... but I really can't.

Actually, an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy can have up to at least Good in economy (I know this through puppet nations).

This nation is an ICD with a Thriving economy and Good Civil Rights and Political Freedoms.

I also have a slightly older ICD with a Frightening Economy, Very Good Civil Rights and Below Average Political Freedoms.

Another ICD of mine of a similar age has a Powerhouse Economy, Below Average Civil Rights and Some Political Freedoms.

All have populations of around 1.4bn people.

Thus you can see how the scope for variation is quite wide, depending on your policies. However, the second of the three would tend towards Democratic Socialist status, and the last of the three would tend towards Corrupt Dictatorship status. To stay safely Centrist, one must seek balance in the stats. This also means that the chances of topping a daily ranking are quite low, as by definition the nation is not extreme in most respects.
