No, We'll still be stuck with the Midwest. Why not just break The Northeast, DelMarVa Pacific, Anne Arbor and Minnesota off from the rest of te country and see how it "Middle America" functions on its own.

Seriously in approximate order of importance to me: The Native AMericans (or what little land and people thatthey have left should have full autonomy, Chechnya, Aech, Kurdistan, Daghestan, Circassia, Uighustan, Basque Provinces Irian Jaya, The Moluccas- come to think of it, let's just abolish Indonesia entirely And the russian Federation too- Inner Mongolia, The Non-Han lands of Southern China, The Gaoshan(from Taiwan), Let's dissolve Spain too, I could go on and on. Basically: "Self determintion for all nations is my philosophy. Just stop being so violent about it please."

Yes but on the basis that britain is a collection of countries, Scotland being the second largest of which and also a disproportionate amount of cabinet seats are held by Scots, what you're saying is Scotland should give Scotland back to Scotland?
But then what would happen to Britain, well there would be no Britain. All there would be would be England and Wales, I would say Northern Ireland as well but I dont think even the Irish want it back now...
