RP regions?

Out of curiosity, what are some good RP regions especially ones that are not deeply serious (seriousness is ok, but some people I've seen go too far)?

The New Meritocracy. In my experience, they've blended RP and regional politics without neglecting either.

But don't you have to be 1.5 billion or over to join?

CE, is trying to set up the "Eurasian Continent" which goes along with the slightly older "Middle East" and "African Continent", and I'm helping him. I also control Central Asia, and would like to get some RP in there.

The Planet Mars is a great RP region.

There's a lot.

Europe still has spaces left, and I think that Africa does too.

The Balkans, Balkans, and Asia Minor are three RP regions run by Thracia on more realistic terms.

Just look around you, and you'll find plenty.

ACtually The New Meritocracy does not require you to be of any population, and we enjoy RPing about pretty much anything. We even had a regional wargame that went on for about a month.

Europe's forum is locked down until we've completed the move to a new server.

SR Control doesn't RP in our national thread, but we do have a forum where we are going to start RPing. We also have our own 3 word story threads and pointless spam. It's fun :D

The New Europe is a new roleplaying region.
We're already active and roleplaying.
Our forum: http://www.neweuropeforum.cjb.net
Our website: http://theneweurope.blogspot.com
We try to make it as comfortable as possible, both for newbies and oldbies.

Cool, can I send a puppet?

I seem to recall that you preffered more capitalist nations, which I'm definitely not.

Edit: Also does the puppet have to be capitalist? I'm thinking about Alta Californian Coast if I'm allowed to send one, my oldest unattached puppet, but it's an SLP.

They're capitalist, leaning toward libertarian, but those things aren't strictly required. Also, the puppet cannot be in the UN.

You sure?

I know that part. They're famous over NS for that.

Yup...the region does lean noticably towards pro-market, etc. views, but that isn't required by any stretch. I'm one of the resident social democrats, for example 8)

Btw- Sorry this response took so long, I tend to avoid these forums now due to the server
