Wear Your Politics On Your Chest

This morning I woke up and thought, "It would be pretty cool if you could get a T-shirt with your NationStates nation type on it, like IRON FIST SOCIALIST." It's funny the things your brain comes up with first thing in the morning. And dammit, it's right: that is cool.

Id like an Ironfist Socialist one, but I dont have a credit card. I might ask my local bookstore manager, he sometimes orders in some merchandise.

Yeah, I know I have started at least 2, maybe up to 4 threads in my time about starting an online store. In the discussions it has come out that it is more difficult and complicated then it might seem.


That said, PLEASE PEOPLE BUY A SHIRT.

If you are over 18 or whatever you got to be, and can afford it, buy a shirt.

Are the shirts the most colorful? No.

Are the shirts cool? Yeah. It is a nice underplayed shirt. It will make people look at it to see what it is, and will therefore lead them to the site. Which, hypothetically will lead to more book sales to for Max.



That said, I would love for these to do well. As soon as I find a twenty in my wallet I will certainly order it. Also, I see it does have nationstates.net on the back.



Eventually I think Max could profit off of more relevant shirts, tho these are a great step. Even just to print up 100 Defender, 100 Invader, 100 Squirrel Vs. Llama shirts, what have youà this wouldn’t be all that expensive for Max, and would, to my mind, yield a good profit for him.


I think people’s complaints of “It doesn’t have my flag” is obviously ridiculous (no offence), Max could not make money off of printing of shirts one at a time in order to have flags. But, if he were to pick more “common” current points, as suggested, I think they would sell. Try 100, and see if they pick up from there.



Long story short, BUY A SHIRT. At the least, it will make Max a penny or three. At the most, it will empower him to take more risks with merchandising on this site.
