I am the Grand Master Of Gelvado and the current controller of THE DICTATORSHIPS OF NEULAND.
I propose to you this offer, I wish to create a region so powerfull that it can controll all of the UN's votes and anything it proposes.
This would affectivleycause the Un to relinquish its power to a board of leaders of NEULANDS most powerfull OR influential members.
This board would not be made of the most powerfull nations (allthough they do have a better chance of getting in) but to the nations who either:
provide the best advice
represent a minority or a majority
are politicly powerfull
are socially powerfull
or are very usefull to the cause.

obviously being more than one of these options is a big bonus.
If you are part of this board the power you would wield would match that of the admins and that of the big UN members.
The members of this board would employ severall nations under them and severall under them. Thus creating a web of members which in turn would speak to there supperior and in turn to thiers, eventually the board would here of the views of the people, and make the decision.
Obvioulsy if a group of nations are un happy with a superior, they would each send a telegrem stating why to the regional controller (known as the grand master) who wouold decide upon the course of action.
This Grand master would be one of the board members and would be voted for by the board members every first saturday of the month.
obviously each board member (a SUNN) would talk to his cabinet about hw the people feel, (if he wished so).

This is what i dream of could everyone he even looks at this please choose a voting option.

If you wish to join please send a telegram to GELVADO saying WHY and also saying if you wish to be part of the BOARD (a SUNN) . (please make them short)

no it isnt !!! if we create a region of about 5 thousand nations, we will be able to controll the votes by a large amount. That would be 5 thousand people voting for one thing plus other non members persuaded by members on threats of invasion also voting on our side. That wold be a total of about 10 thousand votes influenced by NEULAND. If not more.

plus the un delegate would get another 5 thousand votes assuming that everyone in the region endorsed the grand master.

But seriously you can't control the U.N without having the odd 5000 members or about 15000 members of your region because only about 1 in 3 will be in the U.N.

We have to go through two burecracies, one of which is an oligarchy controlled by another burecracy, the other a bureacracy controlled by the burecracy controlled by the oligarchy controled by the burecracy.

Seriously, it's been tried before, and it never works. THese regions end up with no more than a dozen nations, most of them non-UN, often a sorry one nation who isn't either founder or UN.

It appears that Gelvado/Neumark grows very good stuff... I must see about setting up trade relations with the Grand Master. Laioians pride themselves on their "home-grown", but Neumark weed must have more THC.

Ok, give the guys a break. We were all new once. The fact is that the most ever people that have been on the forum at once is 306. Many people on the forum are ones that are on all the time. There's no way 5000 people will even know about this. It's obviously not going to work, but we don't have to be so snide about it. Sheer logic should be enough to prove that their (noble?) dream won't work...

ok, im gonna give you a list of why this wont work:
1. People are more in telligent than that
2. about 50%of nations in the UN always forget to vote
3. Everyone in the region will be scraping for power
4. The UN delegate would in total get maybe 10 votes if he is lucky
5. Nobody is going to just jump into a region which the only aim is to control everyone else
6. If the UN del votes differently to what everyone wants, your whole vote is screwed
7. Most UN nations are happy in their current region

Controlling the UN was the founding principle of the Atlantic Alliance. Although they haven't exact come close, I doubt they ever called White Lotus Eaters a "labotamized ass monkey" in their quest to win that control. ;)

thankyou everyone you have been must sporting. You have all just taken place in my researh. the results are that;
everyone who replied does not support the un completely, but is opposed to one region taking controll. This is because most nations dont want to be told what to be told what to do, and i agree with them !!! There is currently several regions attempting to achieve this and they must be halted. Thank you much appreciated.

You should just take as many nations as you can so we you can take over the UN. We can take over the UN and over power them for good
