I'm making a new puppet nation (My third!) that's going to be a scientific nation. Pretty much, the entire country is one research laboratory (well, it's not actually one giant research laboratory, but it's a science based nation). Problem, what should the preface be? Of course I can cancel out anything with the word "Armed" or "Holy" etc. in it.

So, what should I use?

I believe the point of this forum is the discussion of your nation. NationStates is a forum about Role Playing.

I already know the actual name of the nation, it's the preface that I don't know. You know, the part that goes the "Holy Empire of....." or the "Armed states of....." etc.

Well... for the longest time I used "Incorporated States of". You could probably manage with "Dominion" too.

I'd go with Dominion, it speaks more of a group. Incorperated is more business kinda thing..

Dominion does not mean that you are controlled by someone else. Dominion means you are under the control of a soveriegn being either a King/Queen or Emperor/Empress or of similar title. Protectorate refers to outside nations....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, lemme think about it. A few recommendations sound good
