Hi, Im Sebastian Pearce, one of the Network Radio reporters.
Ios was invaded (again) today and I need to do an article so this is it.
What I want to do is a history of the region since the big Army of Power attack back in December. I understand they have been invaded several times since then and greifed once but I dont know many details.
What I want from you kind people if you are kind enough to oblige, is what you know about the past invasions, especially the greifing a month or so ago, why you think Ios is such a magnet for Invasions and pretty much anything else you want, personal feelings speculation rumour and slander welcome thought they will be identified as such with reference to the providing nation in the article, so be nice!
Thank you very much, in advance.

I vaguely remember some hostile situation there back in January, which made me decide to send MTNG forces as part of a counter-invasion. A call for help on the RPU Regional HQ is what got my attention, I think. However, the password was changed, which rendered the exercise impossible. And that's about it. Sometimes, the reason for our involvement in random places like that is the involvement of rivals, rather than anything resembling shared history. Proxy wars, in essence.

Tactical Grace, reminds me of LUE a little bit.
Hello, Sebastian Pearce. I see you are interested in this story as well. But did you cover the Alliance of Socialist States griefing?

Hi Seattle
I was.
The invaders were planning to hold the region which would have been news worthy.
Ballotonia spoiled it!
If anyone else takes it and it works out interesting Ill do a story on everything before aswell. I just need something current.
Alliance of Socialist States griefing
Nope, thats what I was hoping this thread would do. Neither the invaders or the natives knew much about it, or the Evility griefing.

Oh, that's special. Invaders just sitting there doing nothing but looking at their shoes is deemed 'newsworthy', but a resistance fighting them (and winning) isn't?
If anything, blame the invaders for not being competent enough ;)
Amusing part I thought in this one was that the invader delegate was on-line as the region was re-taken, and less than an hour prior to that complained that nobody was trying to take back the region...

Well if it wasnt Evility, it was people claiming to be from Evility. There were several of them and they did not give the password to the natives.
If it wasnt Evility, there was an awful lot of activity on the regional between Evility and Ios at the time.
Is someone out there claiming to be an Evilton?
