Any Tips Related to the Tax Rate?

Hey, I have a problem with my tax-rate, which is currently at a 98% average.

I, personally, feel it's far too high but am having trouble lowering it. Recently it was around 95%, then, thank God, I received the "Budget Time: Accountants Excited" issue. I immediately clicked on the last option, which gives a tax cut.

Unfortunately this only lowered my tax-rate to an 89% FLAT tax. Good God, that's worse, especially for lower income familes, than a 98% avg tax rate, since they retain less income.

I don't have a prob with the flat tax so long as it's around the >20% area, and I'm thankful I no longer have it as a flat now that it's once again jumped up. My problem, though, is that I cannot lower it, no matter what. The tax cut issues do absolutely nothing for me, since they barely lower it and, after about aweek, it's hiked up again.

Is there any way to make tax cuts permanent? Do any of you have any tips for me? Are there any answers in other issues that I could choose to lower it? I just cannot seem to lower it and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you wish to lower your tax rate? You are most likely classified as a socialist. Socialism, as we all know, is the superior form of government.

Though my tax rate would, of course, suggest that, I am most definitely not a socialist. I am largely a capitalist, though I share some viewpoints with socialists.

Whether or not socialism is superior doesn't have much to do with it, either, since I'd like to lower the tax rate regardless of that belief (it's just a game, anyway).

Not to mention the fact that any good socialist would DEFINITELY not have an 89% FLAT tax.

My advice, pay no attention to that stuff, just play the game socialize with your region mates and Have Fun.

That is whay this game is about, although some folks seem to have forgotten that, as they are spending their time slandering my region and her sister region, or trying to make it look like we are doing stuff we are not doing.

My advice is to concentrate on lowering taxes and only pass laws that lower taxes or have no little or no effect on them until you get your taxes lowered. I was up near 90% a month ago and now I'm down to 24%, I want to hover around 5-10% tax.

Bah, who cares about those poor citizens anyway. They provide cannon fodder- er, I mean soldiers for wars, and furthermore, they can't BANG shoot you or *GASP* anything....
