and also, japan invaded china and massacred millions of people in WWII. i am sure more people were killed than in the vietnam war. the only reason why the vietname war was so famous here was because of the U.S. involvement. My grandma and grandpa went through that too. My grandma was walking with her friend and then her friend got shot down and she had to run away. so im pretty sure the chinese went through more hardships than the vietnamese. Anyways, the chinese have a seem to be less aggressive and do better in school compared to the vietnamese neways. i bet if you actually took all the vietnamese and all the chinese and compared their grades and looked at who did drugs... the vietnamese would have worse grades and more drugs. I'm not saying all vietnamese are like this, but there are those few that are really smart like your sister and chris vu. but i know a lot of vietnamese gangs and druggies. sheesh.

you know gene... first of all in my defense, i said that stuff because i was getting annoyed/mad that you were being such an idiot. Even though you never said it outloud, you always imply that if it weren't for the vietnamese, the chinese wouldn't have had this or that, and you act like the vietnamese are superior. and i had another paragraph typed up to explain why i called you that, but i thought it might shatter your fragile feelings. so i decided not to post it, unless you really want to see it.

The exchange of goods between the two civilizations Spain and the Americas, or The Columbian Exchange, has impacted these two civilizations with both negative and positive effects in respect to the local economies of america and the global economy. The positive impacts experienced by these two civilizations include the exchange of commodities such as vegetables and livestock, spread of intellectual thought, and a vast global trade network the world has never experienced before. The negative impacts experienced by these two civilizations included the annihilation of great societies, the enslavement of native americans, and the decimation of populations due to the spread of diseases. These impacts were brought about by the desire of a spanish explorer, Christopher Columbus, to find a short yet safe route to the Indies. Accepting Columbus's petition, the Spanish government sought wealth and power. The impact of this exchange brought upon patterns that would forever change the world.
Economicly, according to Tomaske, the Columbian Exchange impacted the world by creating a greater global trade network, and an exchange of commodities such as livestock and staple crops such as squash, corn, and potatoes. Prior to the Columbian Exchange, western Europeans relied on a single staple crop to keep the economy balanced. This presented problems because wheat had a low production per acer and failed to grow in fallow fields. After Columbus's voyage to the americas, the potato was intruduced to the Europeans. The new crop had advantages over wheat such as a much higher production per acre, ability to grow in fallow fields, and was more nutritios. As a result, the potato was widely adopted by the Europeans, and ultimately led to a skyrocketing upward trend in population growth, a higher life expectancy, and a stronger economy. By means of trade routes, the potato spread to other areas of the world such as China, in which the national population nearly doubled. But the potato also had drawbacks. Nations who used the potato as the sole staple crop experienced an initial rise in population, but when famines occured, such as the Irish potato famine, whole populations starved to death. In the americas, animals such as the horse was introduced, and later on the horse became the main mode of transportation and was widely used in combat.
As a result of the Columbian exchange, European powers shifted as spain became the most powerful economic force in the world. The Spanish had developed a vast naval fleet, known as the Spanish Armada, the largest in the world at the time. The Spainish merchants created a trade network greater than the previously existing one. This trade network was the first truly global trade network as patterns of trade routes reached the americas and far away places such as Japan and India.
In order to harvest several of the goods of Mesoamerica, a suitable climate was required, so luxury goods such as tobacco were impossible to grow in the harsh climates of Northwestern Europe. Therefore settlers flocked to the Americas in order to set up plantations to produce these highly desired goods easily. The impact of readily availible cultivatable land caussed a sharp rise in demand. To keep up with the growing demand the settlers of the Americas needed a method to produce these goods in a fast manner yet inexpensive. Therefore the settlers resorted to using coercive labor, enslaving the natives of the land and forcing them to work on the large agricultural plantations. The gathering of these natives peoples into concentrated environments resulted in the easy spread of communicable diseases, particularly smallpox. According to Tamaske, because the natives did not have immunities to diseases such as smallpox, measles, and the flu, communicable diseases annihiliated a large portion of the natives. The number of deaths range from one-third of the native population to almost the entire population, for the figures are still being debated. The native americans proved to be hard to control, and thus missionaries came to convert the native peoples to facilitate the task of coercing them into labor.

If we rotate delagates our region will not have enough power. for each endorsement a country recieves, it gains an extra vote within the UN, and even more if it becomes delegate. Also, everyone else in our region can still vote on issues. Add up the numbers chris.
