The Eastern United Technate is a unity of technocrats, philosophers, engineers and scientists. Technocracy is a form of democracy where scientists and engineers work to fix problems, preserve the enviroment, and create appliances for the better living of humanity. Most production and labor is done by machines thanks to scientists and engineers working to improve working conditions of everyone and further research in robotics. There are no major cities and instead humans dwell in small cities called urbanates roughly the size of 20,000-100,000 citizens. This eliminates all the problems with pollution, traffic, homeless people, and crime since people will be able to basically walk wherever they need or just take a short trip on a mass transit vessel and nobody could steal each others money. There is no form of transferable or even real currency, and instead the technate equaly distributes Energy Credits which people use to purchase all the modern appliances, food, and recreation people need to survive and at the same time everyone lives the same luxuriant lifestyle. Technates defend themselves with the most high-tech weapons to have to always have the first strike ability in case we need to defend ourselves. This is how the regional technate works.
