Recently a great empire rose from the ashes, an empire to challenge the current Global domination of NationStates by weak and boring defence alliances. This empire was "The Colonial Empire".
Regions are now able to join the Colonial Empire. This is to help growth and cooperation. However, they must meet certain conditions first.
Conditions for Membership
- The region must have at least 25 nations
- The region must have at least 10 UN nations
- There must be at least 5 active UN nations willing to join the Colonial Army
- They must be able to provide a senator within the week
- They must agree to abide by the governing laws and principles of the Empire
- They must agree not to have a separate army from that of the Empire
- They must agree not to recruit from other regions in the Empire
- They must share all intelligence with the Empire
- They must accept that they are not a mere member of the empire, they are the Empire
- At least 80% of the senate must agree to let them join the Empire
Benefits to regions of the Empire
- They get the unquestioned protection of the infamous Colonial Army.
- They get access to many intelligence sources
- They become allies with the Empires allies (currently Diablos and the Atlantic Alliance)
- They get at least three representatives within the Empire, not counting military positions
- They are part of a bigger whole, which can make a real impact on NationStates
- Their region requires little maintanence, as the Empire will do a lot of the work for them
- They are spared any future venture into their region by the Colonial Army
- They can expand their borders, as well as the Empires, by taking part in organised, intelligent and ambitious invasions
Ejection from the Empire
The Empire also reserves the right to eject the region at any time. This will have to pass through the courts unless the charges are an immediate danger to the Empire. Reasons for ejection can be found in the Colonial Empires Constitution (currently being drawn up).
