i would suggest to add selectioncriteria for searching region.

that would search on the number of countries.

I.e. list all regions with more then 5 countries etc.

Has been suggested before, and it's a bit of a problem with server load and such. Plus extra work implementing this, which apparently isn't easy considering the way in which the data is stored.

At least you can see what the largest regions are by looking at the Region Directory, which is a sticky in this forum.
