I moved around a bit at first (The Pacific to CAlifornia to Greece to Byzantium), but after that I moved to The New Meritocracy in October, and have remained there ever since :)

I have puppets elsewhere.

I picked option two myself
Unfree People
27-01-2004, 04:09
Well, I picked "Remained in spawning region because you don't care about which region you're in," because that was true when I first made this nation... but now I would have to say I remained in the spawning region 'cause I do care about it ;)

Ok, I thought of people who just like the spawn regions, but I figured they could just say 1,2, or 3

Ive a region I feel is my own, but some of my puppets are actually more succesful in the regions they are in than my main nation is at what it is supposed to be doing. And my main nation isnt my first nation either so my case is a little confused.

Lets just say, I have several homes, and lots of places that Im fond of?

So far it's 2 all the way for me. I was 4 for my first couple months, then I moved to Adeliade where I've stayed ever since. I have quite a few puppets, though, spread around the world.

I acheived a command position in the Mercian Regions soon after arriving. The way I found them was simple - my first nation was created at around the same time as Greymarshes and RadioWorld FM303. Intrigued, I had a look at some of the places they visited in those two days, and decided that war-torn Mercia offered an excellent location. I had also considered enlisting in the RRA, but decided that Mercia offered better opportunities for advancement. And I feel I have done rather well with my military career. 8)

Naturally, I have a few puppets, waiting, should the need to use them arise. Several are veterans in their own right.

I've moved once before. SinceI recently founded a region which currently has 180 nations, I don't plan on moving anymore.

Closest choice is 3. I move around a lot but I don't have a home region. Well, actually I have over 100 home regions that my compatriots and I have conquered. Can I count them?

Well, I travelled a bit with some friends and then the RRA in my early days, but then I settled down in the RR, and I'll probably remain there for the rest of this site's existance.

I founded a region which did moderately well, then left-- apparently so did everyone else cos the region doesn't exist anymore, I got my nation revived, and now I'll stay in the region I'm in til I sink without a trace again.

I think generally people stay in the region they first came to or were recruited to, :)

I moved about for the 1st half, but created my own region and haven't moved since. I've got 4 puppets in four other regions.

I first learned about NationStates when someone posted about it on the Ambrosia Software Webboards (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/news/webboard/). When I created my nation, I moved to "West Central Asia", the Ambrosia-themed region at the time.

Around approximately May, I moved out of "West Central Asia" to found "The Realm of Ambrosia" for In-Character roleplay reasons. Eventually, most of the other Ambrosiaites followed me into the new region.

I rarely move my main nation anywhere, and usually only for temporary reasons.

I first heard about NS on the gamepro.com forum, and then I sort of abandoned them for the NS forum :) , there is(or at least was) a gamepro region that I would have moved into but I didn't feel like telegraming them for the pass
