The region of Iraq has the unique distinction of being the first region in nationstates history to be destroyed by war.

It was a young an healthy region with about sixty to eighty inhabitants when it found itself a battleground between two forces: the Atlantic Alliance and the Freedom Alliance. It came under the subjugation of the Freedom Alliance on May 5, 2003.

I'd like to use this thread to discuss both sides of the Iraqi conflict. It is a very interesting event in Atlantic history with some surprising details few people know about.

Didnt the FA decide to take it as part of a "well if the US is taking on Hussein, I bet we could get away with griefing it too" type of thing?

I remember when the AA had it originally, really peaceful place, then invasion.

Something that I have come to notice about the Freedom Alliance is that their most vocal member still around is Of the People. As such I don't expect them to show up in this thread, so you'll have to hear about the Atlantic side of the story. When I get around to it.... later today.
