Questions on building my Nation
Ok, my friend has told me being a Principality makes you more militarily strong. Is this true? Also I heard you can't go to war with a country but you can take a region over. Finally does anyone have advice on how to make a nations military stronger. Thanks
All military and war related questions should be posted on the NS/II forums (probably only one, but I don't know which). You're in the right forum if you want to learn about region crashing, though.
In a strictly gameplay sense, your title has nothing to do with anything (except for the one easter egg issue that we know how to get, but you won't have to worry about that for a while). I don't think that it has to do with much if anything in the RP community, but I could always be wrong.

Yur type off gvenment does not determine how strong your nation is. And you can go to war with other nations. But it is wise to have a good reason to do so. As for improving your military strength well generally the bigger you get the bigger your military becomes and more money it will get to by bigger and better weapons.

don't worry about getting big every day it just keeps getting bigger, with a VERY small random variation in how much.
if there's anything boring it's that NOTHING in THIS game appears to chainge that.
there seems to be little or no realistic interaction between culture and environment or indeed simulation of cultural factors at all.
there is essential a 'center right' economic algorythim and not much else, as if, as many 'economists' seem to insist on assuming, nothing else matters, land and the carrying capacity of natural cycles of renewal are infinite and a few other broadly painted howlers.
i suppose there's some sorts of limits on military b.s. depending on economy or some such. that i don't for the life of me see the point of, other then if that's what you're into.
but then my own interests are in using tecnology to live closer to and more harmoniously with nature, as cultures and nations, the dynamics of how cultural values evolve and things like that.
i don't see anything to stop any of us from rollplaying whatever we prefer to immagine disreguarding the absurdities of 'the game' to our hearts content if we so choose. seems like eveyone doing anything interesting does to some degree or another.
but then i haven't been here long enough to be absolutely certain about any of that.
don't get me wrong, i'm not expecting any approach to please everybody, and i guess i really don't entirely understand what most people even in my own mundane world that surrounds me culture find gratifying.
but if i did, why on earth would i be here?

one thing i dont get, cuz im new, is the millitary side of things. from what ive seen, which ill admit isnt much, ive noticed that there really isnt any millitary options, not to my nation anyway, so im just wondering is this millitary stuff you talk about the role play side of things for this forum, or is it acctually in the game.

The Military side of things is mostly on the roleplaying side of the game. Although you will eventually get issues angeld towards military, like increased budget as an example..
