Ok, here's my idea. I have started a region called The Northern Seas with a puppet of mine. What do I plan to do with this region/what is a super region?

A Super Region is several regions who come together to occupy one map. Therefore several nations in seperate regions may share a border, increasing RPing possiblities.

No one has to move, all you need to do is have your region's founder make a nation with the name of your region and move it there. We'll have a message board and a webpage and with enough regions signed up it might become really interesting.

If we get enough players interested in joining this might become something really interesting and special. Additionally no one has to move. For that matter, after the message board gets started, if you sign up and ask to be on the map you will be considered to be in the Northern Seas, regardless of your real region.

Anyone interested?

it is a good idea. i'll pass it along to the nations in Aperin.

I like the idea as well. Especially as the Aperin map (I'm on the same continent as SeOCC) is an island continent and could be placed anywhere. Hopefuly the rest of Aperin will agree as well.

It has already been realised that an NS world map would have to exist in several more dimensions than either a flat computer screen or this universe would allow.

OOC: I agree. A world map will never happen. But some kind of map involving a few regions may be feasible.

If you're interested then tell your UN Delegate or Regional Founder to sign up the region. Advertise it on your region's board. Help make this thing work. :)

Ok, I might of explained this wrong.

The NS region "The Northern Seas" is where regions should send a nation to show they're a part.

Every nation interested in taking part should sign up on the messageboards as themselves.

Get your region interested and to make user names for the message board. Then get your regional delegate to make a nation named after your region and move it to the region of "The Northern Seas". Then I'll put you guys on the map and then we RP. :)

And again. I've sent a representative to the Northern Seas and there provided a link to the map of Aperin. (http://www.drnightshade.org.uk/images/aperinmap.jpg) How many others of you have maps already? Shall we start combining them? (edit: ocean space to the immediate east of Aperin has been bagged by Greenfields).

As an added piece of initiative, I would be willing to do (at least some of) the actual graphics work, if people are interested in plowing forward with this. I am also able to host images.

Ok, basically my plan is to kinda of scramble us around, so that the nations on our borders aren't neccisarily from our own regions. If anyone needs to border someone this will be accounted for. I'll try to keep the nation shapes all about the same.

Thanks for maps and stuff, I'll do the rough version and post it so everyone can see where they are, then after everyone approves someone can make a nice professional looking version if they like.

Just start a thread and ask anyone who's interrested to post maps of their regions, and which other regions their region shares borders with, etc. Then use the thread to discuss how the maps should relate to each other.

Because a region is more then just a map. This will better then just stick all of our maps together. It's trying to be everything a region is, but beyond that.

excellent! I'm not trying to put a spanner into the works, but a lot of our borders have been RPed, and since we're theoretically one country anyway, it seems sensible that we stay in one piece.

Same here, Dyelli Beybi. I think it can be done so as not to crawl the wrong way up anybody's snoot. It will be nice to have established mutual relations-- good for future RP, too.

The region of Havocaos wants to be in the super region. We also have a very reliable website here (http://ronhq.manqso.com/), so we could host a copy of the map for you. :D


But I don't know why you want to scramble the nations, I think most regions want to retain their identy as well as join a bigger group. Sort of like nations in the EU in real life. :wink:

I'll keep things pretty much the same, but with a few changes to keep everyone on their toes.

I pity whoever winds up bordering Todeskopf(other then me:wink: ). :P

This seems likea very good idea anyway. I hope it doesn't die out.

There will be blank spaces all over the big map, so don't worry new nations will have room somewhere.

Would it be too much trouble to add a nasty puppet of mine to the map? It's involved in an historical RP with which some of the Aperinians (and certain blue monsters) are involved, and it would be useful to know where it is. It should be at least kinda near Aperin, but our West coatline should have a fair bit of empty ocean to the side, as we've RP'd it like that in the past. I haven't drawn a map for them, but I can.

I was looking for a way to get more people in my region, but I like this Idea better.
I only have three nations(counting myself :cry: ) in my region, and we are all friends.
I wanted to get some more active players in my region.

Both, it's evolution will be controlled by the members.

NO worries, I'll put my natons in there, and I believe my current region, The Heartland already has, or will soon have it's own 'country' Pax Heartlandia
