You are invited more than ever... to die.

Everybody thinks about death in NationStates. What will happen when I die? Where will I be burried?

Let us answer your concerns. A long time ago, Nowa Warszawa created a region for the dead. The region is called "The cemetary". For months nations from around the world have travelled to come to this land of peace, where the founder was the first one to die of inactivity.

Tired of your puppet(s) who's only mission was spying the Atlantic Alliance (http://chriszs.f2o.org/atlantic/)? Tired of your nation that was ejected from the United Nations?

The answer is simple. Just enter the region "The Cemetary" and let it die on vacation mode. If you cannot resist in logging into your nation, search for a random word in a dictionnary or the internet, and change your password. After a day, you should not remember it.

I wish you a merry dying and a happy death.

I admit, when I'm done...
If ever... I'm going there
It wouldn't happen to have a synagogue would it?

The Mercian Regions have their place of death. Dozens of nations have met their end there. In one case, alas, without dignity. But the others fought their wars and are at peace forever.

I have my own region for storing useless puppets and those that have fufilled their pupose, and letting them die. I'm not saying where it is, however, lest I get some tourists.

Speaking of dying, I wonder of[violet] can be bribed into turning nation accounts into forum only accounts that they may be around forever.

Actually, this may not be such a bad idea, if admin could be persuaded. That way nations with posts that may need to be edited if they come back, could do so. If only Nanakaland's forum account had been preserved for instance.

I do NOT recommend this. If you later change your mind (while sound of mind and body), then you will not be able ot log in again.

At the very least, attach an active E-mail address to your nation. If you want a friend to help you with not logging in for a temporary period of time, then (with your friends' permission) attach your friends' E-mail to the nation.

When you're ready to play agian, you can request a resurrection, use the automated "forgotten password" function, and (in the case of attaching your friends' E-mail account) have your friend forward the password to you.

"Think about it for a moment."

Looks like "Speaker for the Dead" by Orson Scott Card (definetly in the Ender's Game series, and the quote sounds like it comes from that book)
