Cartographing is not Spoffin's Cartographer's kind of thing? lol

Well, if there is anyone interested in doing this, I'd love to hear from you as well. You don't have to move to Nasicournia or update it every month to do it. I'm sure it's a daunting task.

Good luck, Cottonisking. If I hear of anyone who likes to do this, I'll shoot you a telegram. :)

Give me some idea of what you want for Nasicournia vis a vis landmasses etc and I'll tell you if I'm interested.

Collect some info about the nations and send it to Spoffins Cartographer, and I'll see what I can do.

would you be willing to do a map for The Secret Lair?

Sorry but no, I struggle to keep that one up-to-date.

At this point, I'm really not that picky. If I had a choice, my only real qualm would be to have the land mass relative to population. And that perhaps the Nasicournian Borderlands could be included, since many of the nations there now have decided to become natives of the region.

But really, I'm pretty open at this point. :)

Greetings from Xeraph!

We are currently a part of an alliance of 6 regions, total 40 nations. The alliance will be expanding to 80-100 nations over the next 30-60 days, with 4-6 new regions.
I have a clear idea of how the area needed would look like.
If you would kindly consider creating a map for us, you can virtually name your price.
You can contact me via telegram. If you do so, I can give you my MSN IM name and we can talk outside the NS posts.

Respectfully,

Alaric, King of Xeraph

Don't know if this will help anyone - but all who see it tend to smack forehead with hand and go "why didn't I think of that!" If you're a Civ III player, it includes a nifty map editor* which can create your physical geography. Then you take a screenshot and overlay it with political details.

Here's (http://homepage.mac.com/lindaparkin/.Pictures/Buddhist%20images/Map%26key.jpg) one I did for White Lotus Eaters and our two neighbouring states.

*included with the Gold edition, otherwise download from their site.

How many countries does the Secret Lair contain? I'm not proffesional, but I can do it.
.:EDIT:. This is a map I made. I know its not very good, but I'm willing to update once a month.
Not a real region, just something I made:

All hail the Wysterian maps! Three levels - Political, geographical, and national.

Check them out here: http://www.islandnet.com/~deannad/Wysteria/wysteria_region.htm

Regrettably, it's as much as I can do to keep up with these maps let alone do any for anyone else.

I am willing to link to other people's maps through my Nation's Index - http://www.islandnet.com/~deannad/nations.htm

Both nations and regions are listed here.

I have Civ 3 and Civ 3 PTW but I dont know how to do a screenshot.
Umm ... I have a Mac so it's just a keystroke, (or Grab the whole screen or selection in OSX) sorry but I don't know how it works in Windoze - you have a help menu I take it, try looking up "screenshot"?

Choose the image format you want, smack it into a Works (Paint?) document to add labels, lines, colours, whatever, save the result as a jpg & upload it wherever you have web space.

That is a great idea, White Lotus. You're right--smacked myself. Still, I don't have the time currently to undertake such a project, which is mainly why I've posted here at all.

Also...yes, Wysteria does have great maps. :)

I have Civ 3 and Civ 3 PTW but I dont know how to do a screenshot.

Thats a great idea thoughJust press the "Print Scrn" key on your keyboard. If this doesn't print your screen automatically, it'll copy the contents of your screen as an image file to the clipboard. To access and alter this, simply open up Paint and press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard into the paint window.
