RE: Stickies
Well, we have a large number of stickies up there, so would it not be a good idea to index them all into one Super-sticky, like Scolo's Big Tech Sticky List?
Well, there are some (flag service and possibly yellow pages/directory) that should still be up there, but the other two could have this done (a long qith a few other threads in gameplay).

Technically we don't need the "it's a new forum" announcement any more, and since the yellow pages has the white pages, and Myrth's directory already in it, we could have spofing make the links larger and brighter, have Spoffin change the Title to "Directory of directories/Yellow Pages" We don't reall need both dirsctories stickied. The other two announcements, especially the "what the forum is for", I feel should definately stay, the flag service, and my nation creation creation sticky are good to be visible.
Edit: and if the Invasion FAQ was announced, it would make the stickies less of an eyesore.

Possibly the open letter to region recruiters (it shouldn't be to hard to find the link ... 6 pages :P)

Yes, we have reached the practical sticky limit now. I guess the New Forum Category sticky (downgraded from Announcement) may well be destickied once this place is properly established, but I can't see any new stickies being added unless something else is removed, which I am reluctant to see happen. I think we can stick with the present configuration for a while.
