Since Lancre is a giant megalith the areas of land outside aren't 'islands', they are gigantic stacks. Just wanted to clear that up. New members should state clearly where they wish to be placed and what their capital is and where they want it.

Yeah... we daren't un-password ours though... far too risky. I could only accept UN nations but I prefer Lancre to be a free region. The Lancre Cup began as a way of geting everyone to know each other and, hey whadday know it worked! :)

Of the four that I saw, they were deleted for obscene names, UN multis, or possibly both.

Just a guess, as the four that I saw had sexually centered names, and almost all members of Lancre are UN members.

Well, since Laru-Tan is a very old nation and is probably a big one thusly, we would like 16 on the map. Our capital Djelibeybi is to the northwest, and our Meteor Strike Tours take place to the east.

Put some country's name on along with a capital as a demonstration of what a country 'filled in' will look like.

Yes, very nice, text is a bit fragmented, but I suppose you can't help that... the nations that are red should be changed to another colour, it won't look good with the writing... but all in all, very good I feel! I like what you've done with the UN labels! :D

Actually the UN label idea comes from Europe.

I do it in ZF too, and I'm thinking about addin the flags (although obviously Lancre being such a large region that is implausible).

I saw the European map once... it's not something I can match! Any chance of making more nations to make the whole map a bit wider...? Sirocco should be roughly at the centre of Lancre and inland.

Well, we've just got to see if Fluttergork can counter this now...

You might want to send him a tm or post on the Lancre message board in order to make sure he knows that there is another round now.

EDit: Er Sirocco, did you mean to enlarge the map and chop the nations up, stretch the map and completely redraw the borders, or enlarge the canvas and tack some more land unto it?

Keep in mind that the third option will cause it to lose the coincidental hand shape.

Tack some more nations on and stretch it a bit so the nations with really long names can be fitted in...

Plus, I must be honest, I would have cheated and made a Flash map if I had not been forced to play fair by having a version of windows which keeps me from installling it.

The capital is called "Lud" and it's in the southern half (anywhere you can fit it is great - thanks for such a WONDERFUL map)

I've decided that even if I could learn how to use Terragen and create a map at least as good it would not be fair, since had she not mentioned how se got It I would not have had a copy. Yes, except it's supposed to be easy to use/read, and smallish to download.
