depends what your definition of a n00b is...
According to Sirocco (Sirocco's guide to the language of nationstates) a n00b is someone who don't play right.
A newbie on the other hand is someone new to the game and who is willing to learn the rules.
Ergo a n00b doesn't necessarily have to be a newbie but could be. Could also be someone who likes assing around.
Having written all that it occurs to me that either could be articulate...over to you :)
