Nanakaland Moon Colony Orbital Space Station X-10 [NMCOSSX10]
The construction had begun. It had to be kept secret. A Nanakan destroyer, the NSS Gallant, flew through the sector on rutine patrols. The secrecy of the project had to be kept. The patrol was very rutine and boring until they came across something they didn't reconize as one of thier own. They siganled to the ship to leave the sector, but the ship didn't move. It was as if it was on an auto-pilot of some sort.

"This is Captain Edwards of the NSS Gallant," the captain of the destroyer said to the mystery ship over a com-link. "Leave the classified NMCOSSX10 area or prepare to be boarded." There was no response. It was as if a ghost ship had drifted into the area. Captain Edwards had no choice but to order the boarding of the ship before it got to close to the station. A boarding frigate loaded with space marines was launched to stop the mysterious ship....

Boarding Frigate #131
Lieutenant Watson ordered his men to be ready because it could be a trap. Boarding Frigate #131 was the ID of the frigate launched by the Gallant. Onboard the frigate, all 50 men and their lieutenant prepared to board the mysterious ship. The pilot prepared to attach the frigate to the mystery ship's hull so they could board the ship.

"Docking in 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." a voice said over the frigate's intercom. "Docking!" A clank could be heard as the boarding frigate attached itself to the other ship's hull.

An emergency meeting was called onboard the Gallant. All officers on ship were to report to the meeting room except the lieutenant who was on the bridge to take temporary command. When everyone arrived, they saw Captain Edwards already sitting down at the end conference table. It was clear that he didn't want to waste any time.

"Please be seated," Edwards said. Everyone sat down. The meeting had begun. A course of action had to be decided. However, unknown to those in the meeting, the problems had just begun....

Boarding Frigate #131
The frigate had docked with the mystery ship. The next few minutes were a blur. The pilot ordered the saws to cut a hole in the suspicious vessel to make enough room for the marines while the marines were gearing up for their mission. The hole had to be sealed from space so the vacuum wouldn't destroy the target ship. A circular tube extended out to make it easy for the marines to walk through.

The marines had to be geared up with space suits just in case life support in the mystery vessel was low or their was a puncture in the hull somewhere else. The marines also had to be armored from any weapons they could encounter. The marines themselves had no really advanced weapons. They had modified weapons that looked like they were from the 20th century. The weapons, however, were geared to fire both bullets and lazer jolts. It always gave the marines the upper hand if their weapons didn't look that imposing.

Lieutenant Watson was the first to enter the ship. He was always the first to enter ships his team boarded. Either he was very brave or very stupid. Watson signaled his men to enter the mystery ship. The hall they entered was dark and one of the men puled out a device and scanned for life support.

"Life support at 80%," the marine said. "That's enough breathable air. We can open our visors in our helmets now." The marines did. The group went up the hall to explore. Several marines brought up the rear, weapons drawn, to make sure they wouldn't be ambushed from behind.

"As you may already know, we have encountered a ship attempting to approach the NMCOSSX10," Captain Edwards explained. "It did not respond to our hails and is approaching dangerously close to our... space station. I would say what is under construction, but many of you do not have high enough of a security clearance. Don't worry. It will be made public soon enough."

"What about Lieutenant Watson and the marines?" one of the officers asked.

"Of course," Edwards replied. "I was just getting there. Anyway, the marines on Boarding Frigate #131 are to stop this mystery ship from getting any closer to the station. The space marines are very, very skilled at what they do. Soon the ship will be in our hands."

"But what if they fail?" another officer asked.

"If they fail," the captain said. He paused. "If they fail, then we open fire on the mystery ship and destroy it." There was silence in the room....

Meanwhile, onboard the mystery ship, the boarding party went down one of it's long hallways to the front of the ship, hoping to find the ship's crew. Once they reached the end of the hallway, they knocked down a door they thought lead to the bridge. They ended up opening a door to the captain's quarters.

"Wrong turn," said the lieutenant. "Let's see if we can try another one of these doors to get to the bridge."

"Wait!" a space marine shouted as Lieutenant Watson and the others started to turn around. "This is the captain's quarters. I think we can find something useful here."

"Yes," Watson said to the marine. "Sergant Erickson, I want you and ten others to tear apart this room and find anything useful."

"Yessir," the sergant replied. "Any volunteers?" Ten marines walked to the sergant to help. The rest of the marines went outside the room in the hall.

"Lieutenant," a marine called pointing at a door across from the captain's quarters. "I think I found the bridge."

"Good," replied Lieutenant Watson. "I want this door blasted down."

"That can't be done," the marine said. "The door's reinforced and locked. We'll have to find a keycard."

"There will surely be a keycard at the engineering deck," another marine said. "Let's go there."

"Okay," the lieutenant replied. "Erickson, don't get into any trouble while we're gone. We'll be right back to open the door of their bridge."

Lieutenant Watson and the team journeyed down the hall. The space marine group went down the seemingly endless halls to get to the other end of the ship. The team went past the area where they had boarded and past many doors. The marine team had to get a keycard.

As they headed to the engineering deck, the team in the captain's quarter was also busy, trying to find any information that could help clarify anything. Finally, after making a mess of the room, they found a wooden box - or at least a box made to look like a wooden box. After bursting the computerized lock, Sergant Erickson opened the box eagerly. Inside was the captain's log - something that could explain everything....

Commander Johnson had just returned from the Steel Buttefly Civil War. Now they were returning home to repair damage and to meet up with the Admiral Fleet. Little did they know that they would get involved with a very dangerous mission....

The Mystery Ship
As the group of marines advanced to the engineering deck, they heard noises... strange, unhuman noises.

"What was that?" a marine asked in fright.

"I don't know," replied Lieutenant Watson. "Roberto, it came from that direction." The Lieutenant pointed. "I want you and Daniels to check it out."

"Yessir," they both said as they walked toward the door the Lieutenant pointed at. The door opened into a second hallway when the two men stepped up to it. They each went a separate direction, looking for the source of the sound.

The rest of the group just stood there and waited for the men to come back to report on the noise. Neither one came back for a while. Suddenly, there was a loud scream and a sound of runnning. Roberto came back, with a big gash on his shoulder.

"Daniels is gone," he said, frightened. "We must leave the ship!" The other marines just stood there in shock for a while. Someone or something was out there...

Meanwhile, in the captain's quarters, Sergant Erickson and the others activated the captin's log. The eleven men stepped back as the miniature computer started speaking. Speaking with the voice of the captain. Speaking in English...

"Captain's Log, Day One," said the voice. "The Intrepid has begun our long voyage, taking off from the space station. We are now en route to our destination. This warship has been modified. Modified to fit a science deck. The government picked a warship because the mission will be dangerous and there is no garuntee we will survive." There was a long pause. The marines just looked at each other.

"So this was a warship modified to also be a science vessel," one of them said. "I think something must have gone terribly wrong." The mini-computer started speaking again.

"Captain's Log, Day Three," said the voice comming from the computer. It was obvious that the entire ship's mission was playing back through the computer. Very convinent for the boarding party. "As the Intrepid moves closer to its destination, we can't help but wonder whether we should go on. Several crewmen were caught today trying to desert the ship. Our estimated time of arrival is two more days." The secret of this mystery ship would be revealed soon and the marines there knew it....

The Mystery Ship Intrepid
The marines broke out in a sprint toward the elevator leading to engineering deck. The elevator was at the end of the hall and all of them tried to make it to there. The elevator was large and all marines attempted to fit in there to go down to the engineering deck. Several of them could not make it there in time, however, as the elevator door closed and decended deeper into the ship.

As the minutes flew by, the marines in the elevator could hear three screams. It was too late to do anything. All of the 36 surviving marines decended into the lower deck. It was too late to turn back. The marines didn't know what was down there....

Meanwhile, back in the captain's quarters, the eleven marines continued listening to the captain's log which seemingly revealed everything.

"Captain's Log, Day Four," the voice continued. "As we continued our journey we heard an SOS. When we went to the source of the signal, we encountered a ghost ship. We sent several dozen crewmen to investigate the ship, but they never returned. What scared us is that this ship looked like it was a science vessel returning from where we are heading!" The voice paused. "The only advantage we have is that we are armed." The marines were in shock as they were sent to investigate a ghost ship, too! It seemed like history repeated itself and if it did, that wasn't good....

As the NSS Celestia awaited a response from the space station, they recieved a message from the Gallant.

"Lieutenant Williams," Commander Johnson said. "Open up an audio com-link with the Gallant."

"Yessir," replied the lieutenant. "Com-link open."

"We have an emergency situation," said Captain Edwards of the NSS Gallant over the com-link. "A ghost ship has wondered dangerously close to our space station. We have sent space marines to board the ship, but we fear that they may fail...."

"Yessir," replied Lieutenant Williams, who was in charge of communications.

The operator glanced at the output from the transmission screen. What? he thought. He quickly relayed the transmission to central secturity control and waited for a reply. His drones had picked up something that shouldn't have been there; maybe the Nanakaland forces knew what it was.


The squadron of Gattling Drones and their commanding Bully Drone approached the mystery ship, their sensors on high alert, ready to fire should any fire be recieved.

"Captain's Log, Day Five," said the voice. "We have finally arrived at our destination. The star here seems to be emitting some sort of radiation our sensors can read. We have discovered some sort of escape pod and will attempt to open it. Meanwhile, our scientists are starting to study the star." There was a pause.

"Captain's Log, Day Six," the voice continued. "The scientists have concluded that the radiation is generated by some sort of alien race that lives in the star itself. The crewmen on the science deck are working overtime. Meanwhile, we have cracked open the escape pod." There was another pause in the voice.

"Captain's Log, Day Seven," the voice said. Gunshots, screaming, and an alarm was heard in the background, playing from the log's speakers. "It escaped! It was in the pod. It has been in the pod and it multiplied when it escaped! There are at least four of them now, running around the ship, destroying our defenses. The survivors are going to lock ourselves in the bridge and home that these aliens cannot penetrate the blast doors." Then there was static. That was the last entry.

"Come on!" shouted Sergant Erickson as he put the captain's log in his pocket. "We must escape before these aliens get us. We need to abandon ship and then destroy it!" All eleven of them left the captain's quarters and went toward the area where they had boarded the ship before....

It appears to be deserted and we are still waiting a reply from the Nanakaland infiltration team onboard. Perhaps they need help to fight whoever - or whatever - is onboard. If they do not make it out alive, the enemy ship will be destroyed."

The Discovery class exploration ship was in trouble. First, the engines had gone once they had begun to approach the star, then the espace pods had all launched themselves without apparent reason, and finaly the coffee machine was broken.
"Where in HELL is that tech!" Captain Ian Johnson bellowed into the intercom.
"Sir, he is currently attempting to get the engines to run. We dont have any parts for the coffee machine sir."
The captain grumbled to himself. At this point and time what he really wanted was coffee, he was tired, bored and very, very angry. Once they had approached this star everything had started going haywire, resulting in long shifts and longer days. The long range comm didnt work, the engines didnt work, NOTHING worked, yesterday he had found a cleaning droid polishing his cat, which had fixed itself to his sofa and was not showing any signs of wanting to leave. Maybe it had breathed to much polish or something. Oh well, the damn thing had always been crazy.
And the marines on board were getting intolerable, always going off and acting like they owned the ship.
Well, the one thing that had yet to go crazy was the ships EDS (Emergency Defence System) which had been shut down. The last thing any of them wanted was twenty giant spiders with miniguns running around the ship.

A single Xanthalian Mimic class vessel had managed to get a quick look around the area for Xanthalian intelligence, it was now posing as a Nanakaland guard frigate. The small crew listen in on the proceedings with great intrest. This mystery vessel had a story, but the crew couldn't risk compromising the mission by going to look. They'd have to rely on what was transmitted between the ships and station to keep them informed. The captain rested easily in the small bridge, his two officers working beside him. "How long until we're relieved by a real Nanakaland frigate? I don't think our cover will hold for more than another few hours."
His first officer replies. "Guard rotation is in one hour. By the time they discover that we were here we'll be long gone."
The captain smiles. Ahh, the joys of being the commander of a Mimic class...

Xanthalian Mimic class ships are one of the Xanthalian government's greatest secrets. To those outside the Ministry of Intelligence they are little more than a myth. The ships are slightly larger than a standard shuttlecraft and are completely unarmed. They are the greatest intelligence-gathering asset of the Xanthalians, capable of preforming a perfect "imitation" of any vessel in the Xanthalian database. Forcefields create false images, the computer masks the Mimic class while transmitting false readings. Unless an intensive, full-spectrum sensor scan is preformed directly on the ship while it is mimicing, it is virtually impossible to tell it apart from the real thing. For deep-cover missions such as this, the Ministry is also directly involved, using its people on both the inside and the outside to tweak the databases of the nation being spied on just enough to hide the fact that an extra ship has temporarily joined their fleet. In the end, Mimic class intruders are always discovered. Thanks to the brilliance and hard work of the Ministry of Intelligence though, by the time the subjects know what has happened the Mimic class ship has come and gone, a shadow that is completely untracable.

As the marines in the captain's quarters retreated and the NSS Celestia sent out an SOS, the other marines decended into the depths of the engineering deck, hoping to find a keycard that had access to the locked bridge. The elevator doors opened into a scene that wan't good.

The engineering deck was in ruins. It looked as if whatever was out there had torn apart the area. Lieutenant Watson stepped out of the elevator; the other troops followed. The marines looked throughout the area. Dead bodies were scattered throughout the area. The marines looked around. Watson found a keycard and took it.

"I found one," he said. "We can go to the bridge now." Watson expected everyone to hurry to the elevator. They didn't.

"I found something, too," another marine said. The lieutenant went to see what was going on. On the ground, there was a dead alien laying there - or at least an alien they thought was dead....

OOC: Mimic class ships have been around for a while in Xanthal, but this will be my first actual RP involving one as a central player. Don't worry about it having any major impact, in a pinch they'll run, not fight. We have cloaking device technology, but none of our ships have cloaking devices. Most nations can see though cloaks anyway, so it was decided that installing the ability on all of our ships was a waste of money.

"Finnaly, the engines back on! Some fool dropped the coffee pattern disc into it! Both problems solved!" The engineering crew was practicaly dancing.
"Captain, everythings working again, and the computer is currently re-writing the patern for coffee, so the machine will be online in a few minutes. Sir."
Good. Captain Johnson thought. God im tired.
"All right, I'm going to sleep, Dreyson, your in command, if anything explodes, wake me up."
He walked out, Commander Dreyson walked over and took the captains chair.
"Right, full speed for Earth, we want to make sure nothing else is wrong."
As the engine was spooling up for the jump a sensor station began beeping.
"Looks like an engine trail sir, something big came through here a while back, its pretty old, but still registers, looks like a capital class, I cant say what nationality. But it is almost exactly paralell to our current course."
"Right, call Earth and give them the projected intercept point, just in case. Once thats done, jump for Earth."

Meanwhile, back at the Nanakaland Moon Colony Orbital Space Station X-10, the secret construction of the new space based weapon continued without interruption. The events nearby were dealt with by the First Nanakaland Fleet, the NSS Gallant, and the SAVX drones. There was no need to worry. The commmander of the space station still supervised the construction and the Admiral Fleet was still docked in the station.

Admiral Nelson Clark was the true person in charge of the station during the construction. After all, an admiral outranks a commander. Clark looked at the ship that had the experimental weapon. The ship was still under construction, but the bridge was assembled and life support was on. There was even a crew on board the ship that was building all of the necessities.

The Admiral Fleet was docked in the huge NMCOSSX10. However, the Admiral Ship itself was right near the construction of the superweapon which was being built in outerspace. Admiral Clark wanted to take command of that vessel for some time. In fact, once the external docking bay (large enough to house a capital ship) was complete, the admiral planned on taking control - even if it was just for a little while. To have that much power at hand was something to brag about.

[OOC: The ship under construction is Super Capital Class, so it is perfectly capable of having an external docking bay for one capital ship.]

The vastness of space was a beautiful sight. One never really could get used to it; the stars, the clouds, the planets, everything in the universe. And more recently, in a relative sense, the technologies of sentient creatures spanning the galaxy and beyond. Here he was, in that great vastness, on a secret trip to the Nanakaland moon colony. He was the one spending SAVX's funds on the superweapon project, so he wanted to see it for himself. He wanted to see what his motherland and one of her greatest allies could conjure up with the most brilliant minds and most skilled engineers could offer. The "Bouncer" drones escorting his ship seemed motionless, though they were moving. He knew they were relaying billions of bits of data every second, constantly scanning for those that would try to pose a threat. Though there were few, they were there.

"General? We've almost arrived."

Ramel snapped out of his day-dream and glanced at the attendant. He cleared his throat.

"Very well."

The attendant left the room and Ramel rolled his head around. His neck was sore, but he soon heard a light "snap" and it felt better. He glanced over to another part of the small cabin. His two Galactic Shadow bodyguards were quietly conversing about one thing or another, their weapons on the table they sat at. He admired the body armor and weapons; they had a distinct SAVXian appearance, an appearance that he was proud of. He stretched a bit and stood up, his heavy custom-made body armor making soft metallic noises as he moved. His cape flowed about the floor, just behind him. His helmet was on a nearby table. He slowly walked over to it and picked it up. He was a fearsome sight in his armor; a sight he enjoyed to great extents. The two Shadows stood up, picking up their sleek advanced AC-102 carbines and then saluting Ramel. Ramel glanced at them and made a light nod, at which point their dropped their salute. He walked out of the cabin, his Shadows close behind him.

The General's personal transport was just docking at the contruction site. The three entered the air-lock after securing their respective self-sustaining suits. Once the depressurization completed and the outter hatch opened, they quickly advanced onto the pathway, much to the surprise of two Nanakaland head-engineers who had come over to investigate the ship's arrival. They quickly saluted.

"Hello, gentlemen. Which way to the main office?"

The Mystery Ship Intrepid
All of the marines were stopped dead in their tracks when they discovered an alien. The extraterrestial alien was very unhuman. In fact, it looked more like an alien from the movie Alien than anything else the marines ever knew about. So the marines crowded around the alien.

The alien looked dead. The marines assumed it was dead. However, assuming can be fatal. The alien was very alive. It leapt up and attacked the marines. All of the soldiers were too off guard to raise their weapons. They were slaughtered. At least a dozen fell down before the marines could even open fire.

Lieutenant Watson, usually the first to enter an enemy ship, was the first one back to the elevator. Only twelve others managed to make it back with the lieutenant. The elevator went up to the hall, where another alien could have possibly still been there. This time, the marines had their weapons drawn, ready to shot at whatever was on the other side....

[OOC: These aliens are stalkers. They hide in the shadows and pick their prey off while they are weak or their backs are turned. They leave things the way they are, except they tear apart things to get to their prey if they sense their prey there. The aliens multiply every time they switch ships in a similar way bacteria multiplies (cell division). They have to switch ships once their prey is gone, so they lure others there by sending off distress beakons or setting the ship on auto-pilot.

The aliens are smarter than they look, but they don't speak any human language and don't even try to communicate with their prey anymore than a lion would want to communicate with a gazelle. The aliens introduced here will soon be given a name by Nanakaland and may show up in later RPs.]

The LRRSV William Lloyd Garrison, a Franconia class frigate, floats around near the moon, on routine system patrol from mars. The Garrison is an old ship, first production model when they were still called Vengance II class pocket destroyers. And the age was reflected in the ship's maintainance condition. The hull paint was chipped and pealing, one of the ion cannons was missing, and the bridge was only partially lit.

However, as captain Paul Hagar muses, it gives a pretty good view.

"Ship on the sensors. Two ships, a Nanak frigate and an un-ID'd ship."

"You up for this, sir?"

"Alright, we can get onto the 'vette now."

The captain, as well as 12 naval infantrymen board the small corvette. They are kitted out in full EVA gear and power armor, except for the three robots in the group who don't really need it and just wear their regular ship fatigues with the addition of a heated suit. The corvette nears the hull of the ghost ship, and an extendable airlock lowers down to the vessel's hull. Two crewmen carrying a set of plasma cutters descend down the airlock, and begin to cut a circular hole in the hull.

"Clear!"

The hull is soon cut away, and the cut-off section is removed. One by one, the naval infantrymen descend into the ship, weapons ready. They were more than wary of ravenous alien races.

"Ah, so we're here. Nice ship, eh?"
"Good enough. Nanak says that they've got some marines in this ship. Let's see if we can find them."

The bridge area is reinforced and locked - that will be where every survivor finally reaches there and there might be a giant alien to fight (like a video game boss). No accessing there yet. The science lab is the spawning ground of the aliens and is very redecorated with green slime. The escape pod is there. The engineering sector is the site of the biggest massicre and is in ruins and covered in blood. Every other room except the captain's quarters is free for you to make up plot.]

The Xanthalian Mimic class ship is relieved by a real Nanakaland frigate and leaves the area, proceeding well out of sensor range before transforming into a Camel class transport. It then proceeds to the site of the alien ship, emerging from slipstream only a few kilometers away. It drifts toward the assembled vessels, but doesn't transmit any messages.

"No response sir, no change of any sort in course, energy emmisions, or anything. Its a deader sir." The comm tech looked slightly frightened, he was from the D'pressin province, which was renowned for its highly skilled and supersitios sailors. Apparently it still was.
"Right, send the marines in, tell them to be careful though, there may still be autodefences on board, and there were a few life signs, mostly around what appears to be the captains quarters, the guys heading in by the bridge can deal with them."
The pods jetted forward, seemingly slow in the vastness of space, but eventualy they latched onto the hull with tiny molecular hooks. Shortly after the inside of Engineering and the Sci lab was showered with sparks as the hull cutting rings did their work, two sections of wall fell in.

The science lab
This is a short section here.
The lab was lit up and, very briefly, the twenty marines and two pilots in the pod had an impresion of lots of teeth and claws headed toward them, one of them lived long enough to gather that something was a little odd, one had enough time to click his comm open and begin to scream, and another one fired off three shots from his GC11, which killed two marines and wounded an alien.

Engineering
The pod made quick work of the hull, and the marines made their way out, all thankful that their suits had self-contained oxygen supplies. Libs littered the area, a man without a lower half had fallen facing the new hole in the ship, and other assorted gore abounded.
"God..." A private muttered to himself.
DGNT marines had strong stomaches, and nobody threw up in their suit (Very messy and hard to clean up), but several men looked quite pale or green. A few of the stronger ones began to look for identification on the bodies.
"Sir, it appears that this is a Nanakaland vessel, or at least, its crew is mostly Nanakan." A sergeant produced a number of ID cards.
"Well, it could be worse, Anti-Terror-Army might have developed interstellar travel." This brought a brief chuckle, DGNTs relations with ATA had gone so far downhill that they were going uphill on the other side of the planet.
"Right, secure the area, I really dont want whatever did this to be in here with me unless it has many, many holes in it."

The Bridge
The pods cutters had been going for almost five minutes.
"SIr, I suggest we go EV and look for an entrance on the ships hull, this is getting nowhere." It was always a good idea to listen to sargeants, especialy when presenting ideas such as this.
"Allright, men, get the magboots out, were going outside to play"

On the corvette
"Sir, unidentified ship approaching, appears to be a transport of some kind."
The ships captain walked over and glances at the screen.
"Tell them that this is potentialy a very dangeros area and that they should leave. The wording is up to you."
The comm officer glared at his captains back. He hated making up messages.

"Good job, sergant," replied Lieutenant Watson. "Let's get back to the boarding frigate."

"That's what we thought, sir," said the sergant. "However, we had to get to you guys first." There was a pause. "Where's the rest of the men."

"Gone," Watson replied. "Sadly, an alien down there caught us by surprise." They talked for a little while as they walked toward the hall where the frigate had punched a hole....

He glanced back out, looking across the huge expanse of metal and cold, dark space. Worker drones and engineers were busy at work, toiling endlessly to get the massive project completed.

The data officer lowers his head slightly. "Nothing." A beeping noise causes him to check his panel. "We're being hailed by a Nanakaland corvette. They're saying it is dangerous here and that we should leave."
The captain laughs. "Don't they wish? After all that data we got on the superweapon they're depeloping I wouldn't pass this up for anything. Does their message require a response?"
"No direct questions, just suggestions."
"Good. Then ignore it. I don't want to talk to them unless it becomes absolutely necessary."

The DGNT marines turn another corner, arriving near the Nanakan and LRR marines.
"Right sir...just around this next bend." Private Bourke said into his comm. The men had all switched off their external speakers, though the comm units had poor reception they were close together so it didnt make much differnce, and without the speakers nobody would hear them.
"Ok, lets see who else is on this godsforsaken blastoboat. You two, take up a position on the corner, if I die give the bastards what for." Two marines step forward and take up positions behind the corner.
"Nobbs, Yuri, get up here." He waits. "Nobbs, get your skinny arse up here!" No response. "Dammit, what have i told you two abo-"
Sadly, these are the last words involving Nobbs and Yuri.
"Damn....sir."
"Right, the sooner we find some other humans on this ship the better, maybe they can save us the trouble of finding out why its here." Activated his speaker.
"Hey! Anybody else alive in here?" Hoping his answer wouldnt be a rain of lead, energy or grenades.

On the corvette
"Sir, they arent responding."
"Ok, there are two main possibilites, excluding the ones invlolving turtles, the ship is either a civy, come to watch the fun, or its packed full of sensors and its spying on us or the ship over there."
"Indeed sir."

On the Intrepids hull
"Sir, we found a hatch, it looks like one charg'll do it."
"Blast it."
"Right."
Two marines set a plasma charge around the door, a few minutes later there is a purple explosion and a whiff of air as it crystalizes into space. The marines waste no time and dive into the hole, meeting no resistance, they head toward the beacon they planted just above the bridge.

The rather large X3X-278 hybrid class ship extited hyperspace. Its black haul gleamed from the suns light. It was dubbed the Anubis. Inside the three crewmen looked out the oval window that sat about a quarter away from the front of the ship.
"This is the place?" One asked.
"Yes this is the place," The captain said as he sat in the pilots seat. He had orange hair, and was about twenty six years old. His name was Sagaem Linner, or Sage for short.
Standing behind him was Talvin Cathrige. He had black hair and was about twenty three years old.
To Talvin's left was Jack Blake, an ex-soldier. He had brown hair, and was thirty three, he also had a big scar running down his face.
"All I see are military ships," Jack said.
"Here listen," Sage said. He hit a few buttons on the console, and the message popped up.


"This is Commander Johnson of the NSS Celestia," a voice said over the transmision. "A mystery ship has entered dangerously close to our space station. It appears to be deserted and we are still waiting a reply from the Nanakaland infiltration team onboard. Perhaps they need help to fight whoever - or whatever - is onboard. If they do not make it out alive, the enemy ship will be destroyed."

"How?" Jack said leaning over the pilots seat.
"Well, if you want to help, you are going to need to board the ship," Williams said hesitantly.
"No problem," Sage said.
"You might not come back, I suggest you leave the area," Williams informed.
"No can do," Jack said. "We are boarding."
The Anubis moved towards the Warship, the size of it getting bigger every minute.
Talvin was already at a console, hacking his way into the Intrepids system.
After five minutes they had the air lock door open. A bridge came from the Anubis and connected with the Intrepid. The three men equiped their Enviromental suits, grabbed a T-k30 blaster each, and headed down the hallway. Their suits were yellow, and Sage told them all that if the inside was breathable, they would completely take the suits off.
They got in.
"Oxygen level is 80%," Talvin said.
"Unequip our suits then," Sage answered.
They took their suits off and headed down the long hallway. Sage in front, Talvin in the middle, and Jack in back.
They kept walking and walking, and each one kept swearing the heard something. Then they heard something coming around the corner.

"Good," Sage said, and they followed the soldier down the many hallways.

The other ten stayed in the main group. Hopefully, all of the infiltration teams would manage to make it to the bridge later on to search for survivors....

The group advanced to the end of the hall where they reached the captain's quarters. Eventually, the captain's quarters was secured by the marines. Sergant Erickson and Lieutenant Watson made it their base of operations. The groups' leaders decided to wait a little while before opening the bridge door to make sure that they had enough personal if they encountered hostiles. The soldiers scanned the area and set up in formation.

All of the marines were focused in one of two directions. One direction was toward the bridge door. If the command center was to be opened, no one knew what was in there. The other direction was toward the other end of the hall where aliens could pop up at any time.

Three marines were sent back to the boarding frigate. The marines contacted base to report losses and request reinforcements. Reinforcements were definately needed with aliens running loose around the ship....

[OOC: To clarify things, the boarding frigate basically punched a hole in the Intrepid's wall, and built an airtight link between the frigate and the ghost ship. When a boarding frigate leaves, the hole is sealed up again. That is how Nanakaland Boarding Frigates work.]

"Well...what about the other pod? They had some pretty good stuff with them, can we get them on the comm?"
"Havent tried, Ill get on it."

"Sarge! We gotta call on the comm, its from the bridge squad, they say they need us there." The squads comm man was just behind the sergeant.
"Well, there isnt anything for us to do down here, the engines are shot and nobody else is apparently alive. Lets head to the bridge."

Sage, Talvin, and Jack followed the soldier, who they learned the name of; Barrin Anrathin. They followed him down more hallways untill they heard voices. Immediatley Sage, and Jack raised their guns.
"It is Sergeant Erickson the private explained.
"Well, warn us first," Jack said. They all went down the hallway some more and turned the corner. They then went into a room, the captains quarters.
"Segeant." Anarathin said to a man.
The sergreant turned around and walked to them.
"Yes? Who are these people?"
"This is Sagaem Linner, Jack Blake, and Talvin Carthidge, they picked up our SOS." Anarathin explained.
"Oh, so you docked? Didn't anyone try to warn you about anything?"
"Yes," Sage said. "But we didn't listen we came to help you out."
"Yah, so tell us what is going on," Jack said.
"Well soon we are going to try to get into the bridge," Erikson said.
"Yes, but what is the situation?" Talvin asked.
"I can't tell you right now, we don't know all that much."
"Then tell us what you know," Jack said.
"I will tell you later," Erikson said. "Right now we are regrouping."
"Talvin," Sage said. "I want you to go back to the Anubis ok?"
"WHy?" Talvin asked.
"Because," Sage explained. "I want you to make sure nothing else, except us and maybe these marines, get on it ok?"
"Yes," Talvin said, and he then ran out of the room, and his footsteps soon faded away.

Lieutenant Watson walked up to the blast doors of the bridge. He slid the keycard he found down the slot by the right side of the door. The door still didn't open. Frustrated, the lieutenant looked down at the keycard. In plain English, the keycard said:

They would have to find another way in the bridge.

After finding out that they might have more trouble getting into the bridge than expected Erikson talked to some of the other men.
Feelling left out, and left in the dark Jack finnaly walked over, grabbed onto Erikson's shoulders spun him around and looked him in the eye.
"I've wasted to much of my fuckin time because of you," He yelled. "Tell me what the hell is going on here!"
"Fine, I guess it is about time I tell you. We saw this ship going though our space, so we told it to either stand down, or leave." Erikson said. "But they didn't respond, and they kept their straight path. So we were here to investigate. When we boarded we split up into two groups, I was in charge of the one who were left in the Captains quarters. We found out that this ship was going to some other area in the galaxy for some science research, and on the way they found another dead ship, when they explored that, none came back. So then later they picked up an escape pod. When they opened it the aliens came out and attacked. They retreated to the bridge and locked it. So that is why we are trying to get in."
"I see," Jack said.
"Could they get through air locks?" Sage asked walking up.
"Yes, possibly," Erikson said.
Sage immediatly pulled out his comlink. "Talvin, Talvin come in!"
A long silence came, then a voice. "What?"
"Break off the airlock, circle the ship untill we give you word to come back and get us, got it?"
"Yessir, it should take a few minutes to start the Anubis up, and break her off."

Talvin had just stopped talking with Jack and already he was flipping buttons, and switches on the console. He was an expert hacker, and the same for about anything that had to do with computers. To tell the truth he was glad to be taking off, almost all the marines look like they were ready to shit their pants. So he quickly flipped switches.
Power up, he then started flipping more switches, and pressing more buttons to break off the air lock.
CLANG, BAM, CRASH!!!!! He nearly died of a heart attack. He grabbed his gun and spun around, a bow of wrenches and such were strewn across the floor, underneath an overhang balcony.
"Oh those," He said to himself. "Jack put them their earlier, half of the bow was on the balcony, half was off."
He felt relieved and sat back down.
A calm quiet voice from the console said. 'Break off succeeded.'
A huge sigh of relief rolled out of Talvin.
Then in the same calm voice.
'Unidentified creature is aboard the ship'
All fear struck him again. Talvin looked at his gun. He slowly moved his arm towards it. He about had his hand on it when a long tail lashed around his neck. It was strong, it flung him out of his seat, with him screaming the whole time. He looked up, and on the balcony was a hideous alien, that looked like the aliens in the movie Alien.
"Sage!!!JACK!!!!" He screamed in the comlink. The alien jumped on him, and ripped, and tore him apart with its teeth and claws, most of the time he was still alive when it happened.

"This is bad," Erikson said.
"Why, they are contained in the Anubis right?" Jack asked.
"No," Erikson said. "They multiply when they get on new ships, and they have to leave the ship when it is out of prey, the Anubis will jump into hyperspace to attract new prey."
"Then we have to blow her up," Sage said. "I'll try to contact anyone in the system." He pulled out his comlink held it up to his ear, and went throuhg almost all channels, after five minutes.
"There we have it," He exclaimed.
"This is NSS Celestial, come in?" A voice said.
"Celestial, the Anubis, the ship that is taking off from the Warship, needs to be destroyed, it has one of the aliens on board. Hurry you must destroy it before it jumps into hyperspace. I don't care which ship out of all the ones that all the ones out there, just pound it with all you have!"
The answer that came back was only static, he could only hope that they heard him.

"So, we can only hope they heard us," Jack said, then added sarcastically. "Great plan Sage, real nice."
"Hey at least this way the may have heard us," Sage answered. "If I didn't they would never hear us, since I sent that signal, they might have heard me."
"Might," Jack quoted. "Anyway were are we going to go now if we have to leave the ship?"
"We will probably have enough room on the boarding frigate," Erikson said from Jack's left.
"Good," Jack answered. "Listen, just standing here gives me the shivers, I need action, and movement, I was born to be in the heat of a battle."
"Well," Erikson answered. "I guess you could search the ship a bit. To see if there is anymore stray pieces, any information on these things."
"You sound doubtful," Jack said. "You don't think I can handle it myself?"
"I, I don't know, these thing scared the heck out of the soldiers that came up from the engine room a bit ago, it could be dangerous."
"If they have this ship infested," Jack said. "Is there any place that isn't dangerous?"
With that he grabbed a headlamp. He started out of the room, then stopped in the doorway.
"Which way would the lab be?"
"Probably towards the middle of the ship." Erikson replied.
"Jack, don't do this," Sage said. "I already lost one of my best friends, don't make me lose another."
"Who says I'll get lost? Listen I think I will probably come back, if I don't, then hey, looks like you will be getting a new crew, that is if you get a new ship. Remember, we are here because of you."
He then walked off, Jack was right, He and Talvin didn't want to go here, onto this ship. They mostly didn't want to go into this sector of space, because they were Freelance mercs. They helped out whoever paid the most, from smuggling, to espionage. To say the truth, they weren't best friends with Nanakaland. He pushed them into coming though, and now Talvin was dead, the Anubis was destroyed, and now Jack might not make it off alive.
He knew how Jack's mind worked, this was a course of revenge for Talvin's death, all three had become good friends in the time they had worked together, which was about three years. Jack was going to give payback on the aliens while he also helped out the marines. He was probably hoping to get paid for this. They needed it to, almost all their money was destroyed on the Anubis, and they needed more fast.
"Does the Anubis have escape pods?" Erikson asked.
"Yeah why?" Sage asked back.
"Oh no," Erikson said staring into space.
"They can't opperate them, can they?"
"Yeah, this ship found them in a pod," Erikson answered.
"Well lets definatly hope they got the message then," Sage said looking in the doorway that Jack had left half a minute ago.

Bobas Cleft brought the Ra out of hyperspace, they were in the same star system as Sage and Jack, all the marines, and everyone else. Beside him was Ben Kirth, Tessar Vinn, Isaac Telnat, and T-40. The Ra was a R-70-prototype Backrunner. If was outfitted with seven turrets total, most of which were manned by robotics.
Bobas was a twenty five year old, with blonde hair, light baby blue eyes, and enough self confidency to fill an entire planet with it.
Bobas was a partner with Sage, his team, and Sage's team were almost never apart. One month ago though, his, and Sage's team had been running suplies from the outmost sector of the galaxy, to a poorly funded space port. When there his team told Sage to head on, because they were going to buy a ship. Sage reluctantly did so, and his team stole the Backrunner from a rich snob who was stopping at the station to resupply. When out of the sector he told Sage that he made a great deal. A week later they found a large bounty on their heads, it turned out the rich snob had hitched a ride from a shuttle and placed a bounty on him.
When Sage had sent them the S.O.S he immediatly charted the hyperspace route.
So know here they were, in Nanakaland territory, looking for Sage. Up ahead they saw a Warship, a massive ship, and beside it drifting away the Anubis went at an awkward angle.
"Hailing unlisted ship," A voice said. "This is leutenant Watson, of the NSS Celestia. There is a current problem here, and we ask you to leave the sector."
Bobas looked around, he saw plenty of ships. All surrounding the Warship.
"That is a lot of ships," Ben said. Ben, like Jack, used to serve as a soldier, he was thirty nine, and had brown hair, and brown eyes. Unlike Jack, he was an information retriever, basically a spy.
"Indeed it is," Commented Tessar. Tessar was thirty one, he had black hair, and dark blue eyes.
Issac just stood and watched. Issac was a twenty three year old, he had blonde hair, and green eyes, that turned into yellow at the places that touched the pupil.
T-40 was an interpreter droid, Bobas saw him in a jarbage disposal room, about to be dicentigrated. Bobas walked in and had checked him out, and decided to steal him as well. T-40 was bronze, and him lower metallic jaw was severly overbiting his upper jaw.
"That's nice," Bobas said sarcastically, and pretty much uncaringly. "We are here for a friend, Sagaem Linner."
"Oh yes, the one on the, the Anubis, right?"
"Yes, that is his ship," Bobas said.
"He is in a tight spot right now," Came the reply.
"That is probably why the Anubis is just drifting," Isaac said.
One of the many screens flared. An escape pod launched from the Anubis.
"Look," Tessar said pointing at the screen.
"Well I will be," Bobas said. "Don't worry buddy, I'll help you."
The Ra shot forward. The speed of a Backrunner was truly amazing, like its name states, it is ment for holding lines when retreating. It is also very fast for when they retreat.
It was close to the pod in a minute, Watson tried to say something, but Bobas was to concentrated so he cut the communications off. Plus he didn't want to have to give his name away, and be arrested. When a hundred feet away from the pod he had Tessar open up the bottom hatch. The hatch opened, and they picked up the pod.
"Alright, we got him," Bobas said. "We'll hang around at the edge of the system. Then we open it. I don't want to attract any more attention from those Nanakaland ships.
The Ra turned and shot off, heading towards the outer rim of the system.

"So they don't think I cave myself?" Jack mumbled as he walked down the hallway. He had been talking to himself quietly as he had been walking, it helped him get his thoughts organized.
He turned a corner, he was completely ready for anything to jump out at him, he had left the sound of the marines and, and quieted some of them by telling them that if they talked they might lead the aliens to them.
He continued down the hall, a door was to his right, and another to his left farther down. He walked up to the one on his right. He kicked the control pannel and the door slid open, light a bolt of lightning he rushed in, and looked all around for any, or any signs of aliens, once his search came up empty, he checked to see any place they could get in the room, there was a duct aboce him. He made a mental note about it.
In the middle of the room was a cluster of shelves, full of guns, and amunition. All around the outside of the room was lockers. The room itself was about fifty by fifty feet. Opening one he found a armor suit. It wasn't as big as the standard armor, so it belonged to a officer. He quickly put the black suit on. He also found heat sensing goggles, so he threw down the headlamp, and put this on.They not only showed heat, but he could see anything in the room. Not through walls, but just about enough to make it seem like the lights were on, and making a rather dimmed light. Also a sound amplifier.
He grabbed two gernades from another locker, and attached them to the belt.
He began to make his way out of the room. Once out he looked down both ends of the hall, they were empty. He walked down the rest of the way and stopped at the other door. A blood streak led up from around a corner, and through the closed doors. He kicked the door open again. The door slid open and he sprang in. The blood streak continued, he slowly, and quietly followed it, it led him to another door, which was opened. He walked in, and saw a body of a Nanakaland marine, obvioulsy dragged from another part of the ship.
"Poor guy," Jack said as he looked around the room, it was almost empty, except for the fact that he heard breathing from the air duct.
He whistled loudly. "Lunchtime!!!" He called up.
He heard a sniffing sound. But nothing else. He pointed the gun up, and fired once, the green bolt hit the duct and melted through, leaving the edges of the blast hole red.
Still breathing. He kept the gun pointed, and then repeated firing, he moved his arm slowly in an arch, the bolts flew and hit a new spot each time. He heard clanking, the creature was running away. He followed the noises. He got out in the hallway, adrenaline rushing. He continued shooting at the duct and continued to hear the thing run away. Then he heard something else, it was almost nothing at first, but then he realized something was behind him. He spun around and saw it. The alien was at least six feet tall.
"Stupid son of a..." He said, but was cut off as it charged straight for him. He fired at it, but it jumped onto the wall and all his shots missed, it quickly crawled down the wall towards him, almost as fast as it had been running. He paused firing again, but quickly resumed. The alien jumped off the wall and then jumped straight at him. He pointed his gun up and shot a blind shot.

"Sirs," Roberto said to the lieutenant and the sergant.

"What?" asked Lieutenant Watson.

"I have been working - studying the captain's log, various notes we have found, and of course our own experiences," explained Roberto. "The star the Intrepid came from can be traced with the proper sensors. From that, we could pinpoint a general position of the alien mothership, which should be near that star, and wipe out these aliens for good."

"In theory, that is a good idea," Sergant Erickson replied. "However, we need to get off of this ship and trace it. It could take months."

"The process could be sped up if we were to access the ship's science deck," Roberto suggested.

"I don't know," the lieutenant said. "Another nation sent a team there and they never returned."

"That's okay," the persistant Roberto replied. "I will be careful."

"At least wait until reinforcements arrive," said Sergant Erickson.

"I will," Roberto said as he left the captain's quarters that was now the command center of the boarding party....

'What the hell,' Jack thought to himself as he awoke. 'WHat happened?'
He looked around, and wished he hadn't. There were egg sacks, or something all around. He found out that he had some slime on his feet, connected with the ground, keeping him from moving. His gun was three feet from his hands. The last thing he remembered happening before he was knocked out was the alien jumping at him. He killed it, he knew. It must have hit him when it fell, and knocked him out.
How did he get here though? The other alien, the one he scared off, thatb was the only logical reason.He looked around more, other than egg sacks, there were tables, with smashed computers, also beakers, microscopes.
'Well,' He thought. 'I made it to the lab.'
An alien walked across the table, he closed his eyes, pretending to still be asleep. Why did they keep him alive?
Acting as if he was in a dream, he started flopping his arm around. He was reaching for his gun. Closer and closer his arm got, clunk! He hit it. He then opened his eyes a little to make sure he wasn't being watched. He wasn't, he grabbed the gun, and pointed it at the three foot alien on the table, that now had its back towards him.
He didn't know how many were in the room, but he took a chance, he fired. The green bolt hit the alien on the neck, decapitating it. Its body fell over on the table with a clunk.
He looked at his feet, the slime still kept him down. He put his hand on his belt, and felt a vibro-knife. He moved his arm down and cut the slime off his feet. He stood up, there were no other aliens in the room. Behind him a eggsack wriggled. He turned and held the gun at it. Slowly a two foot tall alien crawled out.
"They wanted to feed me to junior." Jack said. "To bad."
He fired his weapon, and killed the alien. He looked at the other eggsacks, twelve total.
"How did they breed these things?" He asked. "Do they have females on the ship or did they bring a queen?"
He walked over to a computer, that was still untouched. He turned it on.
"Time to see if this can answer anything," He said.

Sage didn't like how they said "And he didn't return."
He didn't think that Jack would die so quickly, in fact he was sure that Jack didn't die. He was probably just taking his time, as usual. He looked at Erikson, and Watson.
"Listen, I don't care what you think but I know that Jack is still alive," He said sternly. "Send a team, I don't care. Jack could probably use their help, but I think right now, he is safe and sound, finding information or something.

In all reality though, that was untrue, Jack at the moment, was having a slight problem.
"Nasty things!" He said as he shot at another. The eggs were all hatching. He had killed three, and four more slipped out the door. The other five were running at him, or jumping at him, before running and hiding behind a table.
"Ha," He said. "Your scared. Of what? Its just a gun!" He said waving the gun.
"Or are you scared on this!" He pulled a gernade off his belt, and rolled it towards a cluster. He quickly dived behind a table as the counter they were behind exploded. He looked at the computer he was using, his memory card was still inserted and the computer wasn't touched.
He heard a clawing noise behind him, one of the aliens was crawling down the wall towards him. He pointed his gun up and shot. The bolt hit it, and it fell to the floor.
"Cowards!" He yelled. "Sneaking up from behind! Can't stand being seen! I don't blame you, your ugly little bitches!"
He fired and one more fell, all of them were dead.
"Ha!" He yelled.
He walked over to the computer, all the data from all the files from the computer were in it now, all he had to do was get back to the marines.
He heard the aliens in the hallway.
"No use in going that way," He said. He looked up and saw the air duct. He climbed a table and got in. On the way he grabbed a comlink from the table. He was in the duct and he closed it.
He then pulled out the comlink.
"This is Jack Blake," He said. "I got all the information from the computers in the lab. I am coming back through the air ducts. Do NOT send help, I repeat, do NOT send help. The hallways here are full of Aliens. Also do not try to talk back, I am maintaining silence, untill I get back."
He continued down the ducts.

Sage was standing in the 'command room', that the marines had set up. He looked around, rather relieved at Jack's message. He was sitting on the captain's bed. Then a marine at a communicater stand called him over.
"Yah?" He asked when he walked the ten feet over to him.
"A message for Sage, thats you right?" The soldier asked.
"Yah," He picked up the communicater. "Sage here."
"Are you friends with someone who owns a Backrunner?" Came Lt. Williams voice.
"Yah, why?" He asked.
"He is causing a slight problem out here."
"What do you mean?" Sage asked anxiously.
"He stole an escape pod, from the Anubis."
"What, you mean you haven't destroyed it yet?"
"No, and now there really is no need to," Williams said. "We did a life scan, and nothing came up, your ship is clear."
Relief rolled off him, then he asked. "Do you know what was in the pod?"
"Maybe," Williams said. "Seeing as how there were no more aliens on the Anubis, we think it was in the pod."
Sage nearly dropped the communicater, he quickly recovered. "Can you hitch him up so I can speak with him?"
"Maybe," Williams said. Sage waited for three minutes. Then, "I got it."
"Thanks," Sage answered. "Bobas you rat basterd."
"Sage!!!" Bobas yelled back. "Were are you!!!!"
"Not in a pod you lying thief!" Sage yelled.
"What! I didn't steal anything!"
"How did you get a prototype Backrunner than?!"
"I told you, we made a deal with a rich guy."
"If he was rich, why did he give it to you for such a low price?"
"He had a lot of money."
"Yah, and he would probably want more of it, plus I know because I saw the notice for the bounty for you and your team."
"Sage, listen," Bobas said. "I can explain."
"Explain that to Williams, who is listening to this conversation, and he is with the Nanakaland government."
"What, how could you!"
"How could I?" You stole a ship, I am turning you in, I will probably get the bounty for it to."
"You backstabber!"
"Is everyone else with you?"
"Yes they are!" Bobas said. "They can hear this, listen to their complaints!"
"Sage, what are you talking about?" Said Ben's voice. "Bobas told us the same thing he told you, he said he struck a big deal."
"Oh," Sage said. "That's grand, really grand, you can't even tell your own team the truth?"
"They didn't need to know," Bobas said. "I never though that rich guy would get of the spacestation."
"Well he did," Sage said. "And Kiko corporation wants your head, along with the rest of your team."
"You wouldn't Sage!" Tessar said. "The rest of us had nothing to do with it!"
"Your right, I won't," Sage said. "But I will turn Bobas in, which I already have."
"Fine, 'pal', tell me one last thin before I turn off the communicater. What is in the escape pod?"
"Whatever you do, do NOT open that pod!"
"To bad, I think I am loosing signal with you, bye!"
Then static poured out of the communicater.
"Sage?" Williams asked.
"If I were you send out someone to pick the Ra up." Sage said. "Lets hope he doesn't open it."

Jack felt miserable, his legs were scared up, and cramped. He had several gashes on them. On big cut ent down his back, and two little cuts crisscrossed the scar on his face.
"Stupid things," He muttered. He had been attacked by three of them in the vents. They weren't the small ones either. These ones were five and a hald feet tall. They were viscious, but luckily Jack had served in the Techon military, a nation which was on the mouth of the morthwetsern spiral arm, or the Indus arm. Techon was a country known for its tough military. Even though they usually didn't try to fight much. Jack had served during one of the worst wars. Unkown alien species ships had just came out of no where and attacked several planets owned by Techon and its allies. Battles were fought in space, and on ground. Jack fought mostly on ground.
He earned more scars against these aliens in the Intrepid, than in the wars. They aliens that he fought against in the wars had had a few Warships, wether they stole them, or were the original creators, no one knows.
He was almost at the Captain's cabin. He got to the nearest grate, and kicked it down. He then swiftly jumped down through the hole. He limped past the gaurds who had their guns pointed at him. He turned the corner, then walked into the doorway, into a room of clapping and cheering; for him.

"Don't open it," Bobas said. "What does he think I am? Stupid?"
He got out of his seat and headed for the door.
"You lied," Tessar said behind him.
"So what?" He answered.
Ben walked in front of him and blocked the doorway. "Why did you steal it?"
"Because we needed it, now move out of the way," Bobas said. He looked rather small beside Ben, because he was the shortest out of the crew, and Ben was the tallest.
"I worked for the intelligence," Ben continued. "Your lying."
"Ok," Bibas said. "It doesn't matter what I say anymore does it? There was a shipment of information on the Nella fleet position and such. It was bieng delivered into Xanthal space. It was worth a fortune."
"And?" Ben pressed.
"I, I stole it so I could get rich, right now I have a mansion on one of the beaches of Madalur."
"So you left us out of that too, huh?" Isaac asked.
"Yes," Bobas said. He then looked back up at Ben. "Move?"
"But master," T-40 informed, in his metallic tone. "Sagaem Linner told you not to open it. I would listen to his warning."
"Shut up you piece of Tarnadan junk, I should have left you to be destroyed."
"So," Ben said. "You didn't get him with the ship?"
"Why no sir Benjamin Kirth, master Bobas took me from the junk pile."
"You stole him to?!" Isaac said.
"Just move," Bobas said pushing past Ben.

Protocal robots were originally created by Kiko corporation. In the eastern region of Techon space. They were programmed to know almost every language in the galaxy, and are highly intelligent. They are also honest, and refer to people with their entire first name; such as Sage Linner, a protocal robot would call him, sir, or master Sagaem Linner. They are now created by a variety of companies, in hundreds of different nations.

Bobas went into the airlock. There on the floor was the pod. Behind him Ben locked the door, he didn't want anything to happen to the ship. Bobas stood over the pod, rubbed his hands together, and then opened it. A tail lashed out and knocked him onto the ground. Ben's eyes widened.
An alien jumped out of the pod, Bobas quickly got up and ran towards the door, Ben quickly unlocked it and pulled Bobas in, he then reclosed it and locked it.
"Eject it!" Bobas said beside him. Ben hit some buttons on the control pannel and the alien was sucked out as the hatch opened.
"Oh my!" T-40 said behind him.
"Have you ever seen one of those before?" Ben asked.
"No, I haven't." The robot said.
"That's it," Bobas said. "I am going back to the bridge, and rethink my life."
He then walked off, and after sharing glances Ben and T-40 did the same.

Sergant Erickson came running after Roberto before he could leave the hall. "Wait a minute," the sergant said. "I think I know how to find out where the alien mothership is without having to go to the science lab."

"How?" asked Roberto.

"A mind probe," Erickson replied.

"You don't mean that we should go and capture -" Roberto started.

"It's much safer than taking on dozens of them," the sergant interrupted.

"But still," Roberto protested. "Mind probes are still experimental in Nanakaland. We don't even know if the aliens are smart enough to be probed."

"There's no better way to try," Erickson said. "These Stalkers are not of our own species so it wouldn't hurt to capture one and test the mind probe on it. If it succeeds, we'd probably find the alien mothership and maybe even a weakness."

"Then how do you suppose that we catch a Stalker?" Roberto asked. Stalker became the marine slang for these aliens, first discovered in the Intrepid, that stalked their prey from the shadows and picked them off one by one if possible.

"Let's go to the command center first," replied Erickson. "I need to tell you and Watson the plan in privacy."

Erikson and Roberto walked into the command quarters of the marines.
"Alright, everyone into the hallway," Erikson said. Several marines shared glances but then walked out, the medic had just fixed Jack up, so he walked out as well. Jack, and Sage stayed though.
"I said everyone," Erikson said looking at them.
"We aren't in your military, we aren't even in the military," Jack said.
"I don't care," Erikson said.
"What are you doing?" Sage said getting up.
"We changed plans, we are taking different course of action, we can't get into the lab so we are going to capture and mind probe a stalker," Roberto said.
"I have the informaton though," Jack said holding up the memory pad.
"You, how did you get out," Roberto asked.
"The ducts," Jack answered.
"Well," Erikson said. "We could use that information, and the information from a probe."
"Good," Jack said. "SO what do we do?"
"Jack, you will taking the boarding frigate, along with Private Goodman, tell it to temporarily leave, so they can drop you off on the Anubis. Sage into the hallway."
"what I get left out?" Sage asked.
"Fine," Erikson said. "We'll see what Watson wants to do with you."

The entire crew of the Ra, except Bobas who was in the bridge, were standing in the hallway just outside the bridge.
"What are we going to do?" Isaac said.
"What do you mean?" Ben asked.
"We work with this guy, and he stole this ship, the ship we've been flying around in for the last month!" Issac yelled. "They will arrest us too!"
"We didn't do anything though," Tessar said. "They wouldn't."
"Victoms of Crime," Isaac said. "T-40, what is there on partners of a criminal?"
T-49's orange eyes flashed brighter for a scond, then returned to normal.
"Partners with a criminal are guilty, if criminal is found guilty," He explained. "Wether they plead innocent or not, the dissicion of it all lies with the accused. If partners use stolen equipment, they are guilty."
"Oh no," Ben said.
"This is bad," Tessar said.
"Yes, it is." Issac said. "We will... what is that noise?"
"The hyperdirve!!!" They all shouted, they ran onto the bridge.
"What are you doing!?" Ben shouted as they all ran in.
"Leaving this place," Bobas said.
"We were tagged though!" Tessar yelled.
"Yah, I know, but I broke free, and you thought I was actually rethinking my life, Ha!"
"You had no thought to leave earlier though," Issac said.
"Because earlier I didn't know," Bobas said as he looked at the control panel.
"Didn't lmow what?" Ben shouted as the ship started to pick up speed.
"I didn't know that Xanthal spies were here," He said.
"What!? How did you find out?" Tessar asked.
"This ship was in the Xanthal Inteligence before I stole it," Bobas said. "The scanner showed me a Mimic class ship."
"A what?" Ben asked.
"Mimic class," Bobas explained. "A type of spy ship used by the Xanthal, can mimic the shape of almost any other ship."
"They got past the Nanakaland scanners?" Ben asked.
"Yes," Bobas said. "They thought it was just a freighter."
"They can do things like that," Ben said, amazed, and added with a smirk. "With out the Nanakaland fleet finding out."
"Oh, now they'll know, trust me."
He hit a button on the communicater. "Nanakaland fleet this is Captain Bobas of the Ra, I wanted to let you know we are jumping into uncharted space, so good luck finding us.
"Oh yah also, I thought you might want to know that you have been spied on for a while now. Yah, it seems like a Xanthal mimic class ship was here spying on your moon base, as well as that mystery Warship. They probably heard almost everything that you said during the time they were disguised as a frieghter. So I thought I would let you know, so long, and thanks for all the excitment."
With that he hit a button and the Ra jumped into hyperspace, into the unkown parts of the galaxy.

The boarding frigate departed, much to many of the marine's disgust. It went over to the Anubis, and locked on. Jack, and Goodman got off, and walked out of the room. The frigate resealed the door, and then went back and attached itself to the Intrepid.
Jack sent Goodman to the bridge, while he scouted about, to make sure nothing was on. After a while he declared that there was nothing. When he got to the bridge he saw what remained of Talvin.
"I'm sorry," Jack said looking at Talvin. "I said I wouldn't let anything touch you, I failed you."
He walked over to the console and looked at Goodman, he was pale.
"What's wrong?"
"That other guy," The marine replied.
"Other guy?" Jack asked.
"That Talvin guy," The marine replied. "I hope I never meet up with one of those aliens."
"Do you have the data uploaded?" Jack asked.
"Yes," Goodman said.
"Let's see what is says."

"Stalker," said a recorded voice. This was clearly part of a recent entry in a database. "The mysterious alien race encountered by many spacefaring nations, but until recently never heard of due to their rather nasty habit of trying to board every ship they can and eating the passengers. Recent mind probes reveal that the aliens are smarter than usual, but they have no need to communicate with their prey. Called "Stalkers" first by marines, these aliens hide in the shadows and pick off their prey in moments of their weakness. They leave very little trace and thus make ghost ships. However, remains of people and some spawning chambers are clearly left behind on some ships. Stalkers leave ships when their supply of prey is gone.

"Recent mind probes have revealed that the aliens are from a remote star. The Stalker mothership is hidden from sensors by the radiation the star emits. The only traces of the Stalkers are ghost ships. However, Stalkers can eventually starve to death if they don't move soon enough. Once the mothership is destroyed, it is theorized that one of three things will happen. Theory one - all Stalkers die. Theory two - Stalkers have no more command and cannot board any more ships and thus eventually starve. Theory three - all Stalkers attempt to invade a planet or moon to get a homeworld."

The Stalkers saw the moment of their prey's weakness as the group of marines entered the boarding frigate....

He grabbed a communicater, and spoke into it. "Techon armada, this is former Major Jack Blake, I request assistance in this sector." He hit a few buttons on the screen, and waited.

"Sir, they have more ships than we do," The operater said.

Ramel had left the matter of the ghost ship to the hands of those involved. He wouldn't be able to do much for them. He stood at the window, staring out at the expanse of construction, the beautiful mix of metal, sparks, and fire; the workers, both human and robotic, bustling about, getting it completed. He started to wonder about what she could be named upon completion, when he saw the flash of a warp exit on the corner of his vision. He quickly turned to look.

"What the hell..."

Almost immediately, the comlink was recieving a transmission. They were Techon ships, and were wondering what the hell was going on, then were asking for the patrol drones to stand down. Ramel glanced outside again. Sure enough, multiple patrol squads had converged on the exit point where the Techon ships stood.

"What the devil is going on here? Clark? I think they want to talk to you."

Meanwhile, Ramel quickly gave had the nearby drone command post order the drones to standby, while the situation could be sorted out.

Walthour stared out the transparisteel window. He was on the bridge, in the little indentments in the floor technicians worked almost nonstop.
Looking at the scene in front of him he wondered about the safety of Techon, or other ally nations. This superweapon would be one of the most deadly things in the galaxy.
I hope it doesn't come to that, using the weapon against other nations, if they use it in the SB wars i woun't mind much, but if they just use it for conquering.
He turned his attention to the Intrepid.

With the hyperspace of another nation's armada into a sector that was clearly marked off limits, the First Nanakaland Fleet, the Admiral Fleet, and several dozen defensive ships not attached to a fleet all mobilized. It was then that they received a transmission.

"Nanakaland fleet this is four star Admiral Colin Walthour, we have readings of a superweapon that you are building here, what are you trying to do with it?"

"This is Nanakaland Chief Admiral Nelson B. Clark," the Nanakaland Admiral said in response. "You have entered a secured zone and have detected a classified project. However, you are helping us investigate the ghost ship. It is because of this that we have not decided to destroy your armada. We will let you in on this with an explanation." He paused. "We are building a superweapon for the general defense of the region known as The Kingdom of the Midlands. It has been in development for some time." The admiral took a deep breath. "The superweapon will not be used for offense unless it is severely needed. In fact, we have just found a use for the superweapon."

"We have recently discovered by a message from our marines that the aliens that have taken over the ghost ship Intrepid have a mothership around another star system," Clark continued. "It has come to my attention that the aliens would have heavy defenses around their mothership. I have now realized that the superweapon would be the only resource we can quickly access that could be able to defeat the aliens for good." The admiral paused. "The only other current use the weapon would have is attacking Steel Butterfly's government, whom our diplomacy stance with them drops nearly every day."

"This is not the first time I have seen a superweapon, the first one I saw was built by Nella, maybe you have heard of that nation, maybe not, Techon was at war with them for a long time. The superweapon they built destroyed my home planet. After the war it dissapeared into unkown space, and we have been searching for it since."
"Anyway, I jumped to conclusions, and I am sorry, I have the other half the fleet that was assigned to come here waiting for my order to jump here. If you need any assistance in fighting this mothership, then let me know, and we would be happy to help."
He turned away from the Technician, and sat down in a chair, that overlooked the fleet in front of him.

Lieutenant Watson waited for Sergant Erickson and the other marines to come back. He waited for fifteen minutes. After a while, the injured Erickson limped back to the "command center" with no one else escorting him. It was then that the realization struck Watson. This mission was impossible. They had to abandon ship and destroy it before these Stalkers tampered with the superweapon which was in the nearby space station.

Watson opened a com-link with everyone else on board he could communicate with. "This is Lieutenant Watson," he said. "I have ordered a complete evacuation of this ship. I repeat abort the mission and abandon ship. I will rendevous with the rest of Nanakaland marines by the boarding frigate."

"That's great," replied Erickson. "However, there's just one slight problem."

"What?" asked the lieutenant, turning to him.

"The Stalkers entered the frigate," the sergant explained. The pilot and co-pilot and the three marines with me are all dead. We'd have to fight the aliens to leave the ship." Everyone else was in shock. Things didn't look too good....

Reading the faint heat signitures given off by the Stalkers onboard the transport frigate, the primary drone assigned a squad to secure it. The people, and aliens, had no idea how many weapons were now armed and aimed at their direction. If one thing went wrong, there would be little to tell about it afterwards.

Several marines were patrolling the halls when the Stalkers struck. The group was cut off from the rest of the marines. While the other marines were toward the end of the hall by the captains quarters, the patrolling marines were cut off from the group and decapitated by the aliens.

The marines at the end of the hall set up themselves in a defensive formation, pointing their guns at the advancing Stalkers. The marines seemed trapped. Something had to be done. However, it was then that the bridge doors opened and a horrible sight was revealed....

The bridge was full of destroyed electronics. Inside the room, dozens of dead bodies were scattered throughout. The most conspicuous thing there, however, was the giant Stalker. It lunged at the group of marines, smashing the frame of the door to make room.

The helpless marines fired back. The Stalker took down row after row of them. The other Stalkers moved in for the kill. Roberto grabbed Lieutenant Watson and Sergant Erickson by their arms and yanked them out of the way of the combat. Roberto turned to Sage.

"When can the Anubis arrive?" he asked. "I don't think we can hold off forever."

"I called it up, it will be arriving in about five minutes, then all we have to do is make our way for the airlocks." Sage said, still shocked at the massive size of the giant stalker.

"Can we make it in time?" Goodman asked Jack.
"I can make it in less time," Jack replied, he boosted up power and the Anubis soared towards the Intrepid, he put out all power, and turned on the front engines, screeching them to a halt, he turned on the right engines, and they connected with the Intrepid easily, right once they did so a group of seperated marines ran down the airlock, and into the Anubis.

Soon, Roberto, Lieutenant Watson, Sergant Erickson, Sage, and a few others managed to make their way to the Anubis. As Erickson check the life signs, he noticed that the number of marines aboard the Intrepid was dropping. The only way to contain the Stalkers was to destroy the ship and the Nanakaland boarding frigate attached to it after the survivors reached the Anubis and evacuated.

"Open a com-link," Commander Johnson replied.

"Yessir." The lieutenant typed on his computer. An audio com-link was then formed.

"This is Lieutenant Watson of the Nanakaland marines of the Boarding Frigate Number 131," a voice said through a staticy connection. "We have discovered valuable information and will send it to you. However, the aliens we named Stalkers have taken out the main group. We request destruction of the Intrepid once the Anubis clears the area. The other marines onboard are either already dead, on the Anubis now, or finding another way out."

The Stalkers finished off all they could by the bridge and then moved to follow the fleeing marines. The situation was hopeless. The marines had to flee any way they could and let the Intrepid get destroyed. The First Nanakaland Fleet, the NSS Galant, and the SAVXian drones moved closer, preparing to destroy the ghost ship before the Stalkers destroyed everyone....

Within a second, explosive slugs began racing from all around towards the Intrepid and Nanakaland boarding frigate, tearing through the armored plating and ripping the insides apart. The leader drones began launching their missile barrages, unleashing a hellish fury of high-explosive fire on the infested craft. Within moments, the entire target area had been turned into cosmic dust.

Admiral Clark was standing by a screen. On it, there was a picture. The lights dimmed as the guests sat down. The picture was now visable.

A ship was visable on the screen. It was definately not human. Everyone sitting there was wondering what it was until the admiral spoke.

"This is the Stalker mothership," Clark explained. "Recent scouts have brought back this image of it." He paused. "We must send an infiltration team on that ship to disable its defenses, leaving it open for our ships to destroy. The problem is that this ship moves around - its current location is unknown. Another problem is that the ship is full of Stalkers." Another man walked in the room.

"That's where I come in," the man said. "I am John Lee, part of the Legion of Defence Special Forces Sqad. The whole sqad could not be gathered, but I will be able to infiltrate the mothership with a team of the willing among this room." He paused to look around the room. "It is not garunteed that we will make it out alive."

[OOC: Now feel free to tell what happend on your side of the story, volunteer men for the mission, talk about backup plans, etc... It is a meeting.]

"I'll join you," He said. "I need to seek revenge on these things."
Sage rubbed his forehead.
"Sir," Major Aaron Leader asked Walthour. "What are we going to do?"
"We are going to help them of course." He looked at Jack. "I am sorry Jack, but I think that this job is required for the current soliders, not ex-soldeirs. I will send six men aboard with you."
"Sir, what if we fail this mission?" Aaron asked. "If we start to get overrun?"
"Then we retreat back to secotr P4X-188, or the shipyard overhead of Jakin four. There we will continue to work on Techon's Pride."
"Yessir," Aaron answered.
"Well no matter what the crew of the Anubis is coming to help." Sage said. "We will help fight against it no matter what, it took one of our crewmembers, and friends, life. We want to have payback with it."

We could bring in ten of those, they should be able to form a bubble around United Glory. Then while it charges, our ships can fire from outside the shields, to provide more protection."

The United Glory was the first to leave hyperspace. The ships ended up in the Crab Nebula. Sensors wouldn't work too good, so manual scouting via fighters was needed to locate the Stalker mothership.

The Stalker Mothership
Silence was golden. The Stalkers needed silence. Dispite their intelligence, no human would think more of Stalkers than monsters, evil aliens that boarded ships and destroyed their crews. Stalkers were evil and they were very monster-like, but that didn't take away from their supreme intelligence.

The Stalkers knew that after the incident with the Intrepid, all who witnessed it would probably go after the mothership. Of course, that wouldn't stop them. The Stalkers simply planned to relocate the mothership. Even if something were to destroy the mothership, they still had a few tricks up their sleeves - and other factors would soon tilt the scales to favor the Stalkers again....

OOC: Oops...sorry, been busy. Let's pretend that I've been along this.

The SAVX strike fleet exits the warp, with General Ramel's own Blast-Class Cruiser in the lead. Tens of drone squadrons exit in quick succession, their small frames making the larger craft appear as though it was in a cloud. Three Railgun Cruisers exit the warp in the rear, being the most massive ships in the fleet. Missile frigates flank them as close-combat cover, with even more drones swarming around them.

Ramel stared through the bridge's large viewing bay, awed at the beauty.

"Few things more amazing than what one can find in space, eh?" he said to a nearby subordinate.

"Indeed, sir."

"Alright, bring us around to United Glory. We'll support her in this attack."

"Aye, aye."

The Holy Empire of The Great System in Deep Space hated Nanakaland mainly due to a misunderstanding. They kept a close view on the construction of the United Glory via mimicing a frigate. Once construction was complete and before the superweapon hyperspaced into the Crab Nebula, a saboteur team was slipped on board. Their hope was to stop a superweapon that could provide a threat to the Holy Empire....

A very faint signal appeared on the sensors. One of the fighters moved closer and discovered the Stalker mothership.

A series of yessirs came through, and the ten shield ships started up their shields, and all 530 fighters flew towards the beacon. Along with Ion, and semi-nuclear frigates. The Destroyers hovered around the United Glory, ready for battle.

The Stalkers sensed the commotion. They readied their defenses. The mothership started shooting at the fighters and launched hundreds of its own fighters to counter the advancement. Even with all of this, however, the Stalker forces were not enough to hold off Techon, SAVXian, and Nanakan forces forever. The number of those forces meant that the Stalker fighters were soon overwhelmed and destroyed.

The mothership turned to retreat as the Nanakan superweapon charged. Even with all of the forces and the superweapon attack the mothership, however, the mothership itself would last for a very long while unless the infiltration team were to disable the mothership's shielding....

The area was clear of friendlies, so they all fired one missile each, the ten missiles soared towards the different clusters of enemy ships, and boom! each missile made a explosion 300m in diameter. Hundreds of enemy ships were reduced to dust.

They groaned as they injected the liquid into their arms, one looked up at everyone else, most of whom were watching him.

The boarding frigate was about to attach itself to the mothership hull to send the infiltration team forward. However, something needed to be done first.

"Roberto," Lieutenant Watson said. "I need you to scan the ship so you can see if there are any Stalker patrols nearby. We don't want to land into a trap."

"Yessir," Roberto replied, looking at his handheld scanner. After a few moments, he looked back up. "This area is clear."

"Fine," the Lieutenant said. He then turned to the pilot. "Prepare to attach this frigate to the enemy hull."

"Yessir," the pilot replied. He then turned to his control panel.

Normally, Lieutenant Watson was always the first to board an enemy ship. However, he had decided to let the Techon marines go first. Perhaps it was a gesture of peace - or cowardness. Either way, Watson still left the frigate, with the Techon marines in the front and the Nanakaland marines in the back. Everything would be perfect - if Roberto had scanned properly. However, a Stalker patrol did happen to run into the marines....

As the marines fought the Stalker patrol, Lieutenant Watson pulled Roberto aside.

"I thought you said the area was clear of Stalkers!" said Watson.

"I did," replied Roberto nervously. "These Stalkers came from nowhere! It is their mothership we're infiltrating, you know. It must be -"

"I know how our scanners work," interrupted Watson. "And I'm almost certain that they can detect Stalkers. I think that you are hiding something from the rest of us."

Just then, Sergant Erickson came off from the boarding frigate, holding something in his hand. "Look what I found," he said to the lieutenant. "It was in Roberto's hands."

"A remote detination device?" said the puzzled lieutenant.

"That's what it looks like," Erickson replied. Just then, a gun was pointed at the back of Lieutenant Watson's neck.

"Hand over that device or Watson gets it," Roberto threatened.

"What's it do?" asked Erickson. Roberto snatched the device from the sergant's hands.

"It destroys the weapons system onboard the United Glory," replied Roberto as he backed up from the others. "A team of my own set up the explosives."

"I guess you're not really Nanakan, then," replied Watson.

"You're smart," replied Roberto. "Once I destroy the superweapon, I'll signal my fleet and you'll all be dead."

"But the Stalkers -" Erickson started.

"No," interrupted Roberto. "The Holy Empire has set an alliance with them."

"Do you trust them - those horrible aliens that feed on humans?" Watson asked. "You're a fool if you do."

"It doesn't matter," Roberto replied. "These Stalkers will never go near Deep Space and if they do, the Great System'll destroy them."

"Still," the lieutenant said.

"It doesn't matter for you," said Roberto, raising the detination device. "You'll all be dead by running into this trap." He was about to detinate when Commander John Lee shot Roberto several dozen times.

"There's a backup timer," said Roberto, smiling as he fell down to the ground.

"We have a mission to do," said Lee. "I don't think we should waste time talking to enemy spies."

"There's a backup timer, though!" protested Erickson. "We must disable the explosives!"

"Trust me," replied Lee. "I know how infiltration teams work. The timer will not go off until way after we're back - if all goes well. Then we'll have time to disable it."

Just then, a Stalker leaped at the three officers. John Lee tossed a gernade at it and the Stalker exploded. Erickson, Watson, and Lee started leading the group of marines down the hall....

The super capital class ship is named the United Grand Celestial Glory. However, sources also report that a hostile alien race may have been discovered."

"And now here are your sports," Sam said. "In the Nanakaland Indy Racing Championship, the Nanakaland Racing League (NRL) and it's two drivers are not doing too well. A manager has been fired and new cars have been bought."

"Thank you for watching NNNN," Sam said. "I'm Samuel Robinson..."

"...and I'm Laura Brown," Laura finished.

"Until next time," they both say, "goodbye."

"Don't change the channel," Sam said as the screen faded out. "Next on NNNN is a special report on the superweapon."

The Nanakaland marines followed their three officers as they went down the hall in the oppisite direction of the Stalker patrol. They signaled for the Techon marines to follow.

"The Stalkers must use very alien technology," explained Sergant Erickson. "Therefore, the shield generators probably wouldn't look like any human design. However, the Stalkers still must have a special section for it. We simply find that section, set up some explosives, leave the ship, and then watch the mothership shields go down. The superweapon and the other ships would then destroy the mothership as we try to disable the explosives in the United Glory that was set by hostile sabatauge team. Any questions?"

"Where did you get those wounds?" he asked.

"The Stalkers attacked," replied Roberto confidently. "You may have heard it."

"I did," the skeptical co-pilot said. "However, those are wounds from weapons - and Stalkers don't use weapons like those."

"Friendly fire," Roberto said, changing his story.

"No," the pilot said, who had by now noticed the conversation. "I think you're a traitor." Both the pilot and co-pilot drew weapons and managed to tie up Roberto.

Meanwhile, the group of marines advanced down the hall, looking for anything that may resemble a door or a shield generator. The group literrally walked around in circles - the hall must have been in a circular shape - without even finding any entrance of any sort.

"There must be some entrance," commented Lieutenant Watson. "This ship can't be this deserted."

"Shh!" said Commander Lee. "I hear something." Sure enough, there was a sound coming from below. The marines looked down to the floor to find something that did resemble a door.

"The entrance must be on the floor!" exclaimed Watson.

"We just need to find a way in through that entrance," Lieutenant Erickson commented.

The door did collapse, but so did the rest of the floor. The marines fell to the floor below, unknowingly alerting all of the Stalkers in the building of the infiltration team's presence.

"Time for Plan B," Sergant Erickson said.

"We don't have a Plan B," replied Commander Lee. "Or at least a plan of any sort that fits this situation."

"That's enough!" Commander Lee said angrilly. "Do you want to be demoted for talking back to a supperior officer!?"

"No," replied the lieutenant, "but you're the one wasting time by arguing with me."

"Stop it, you two!" shouted Sergant Erickson, breaking up the argument. "We have a mission to be done. We still have to find the shield generator."

"Thankfully the falling floor crushed most Stalkers on this level," one of the Nanakan marines commented.

"This way," said a marine, pointing to what seemed like a crack in the wall.

"It's just a crack in the wall," Erickson replied.

"That's what I thought at first," the marine said. "However, look closer." Erickson leaned closer. It was then obvious. He stuck his hands in the hole in the wall and pried it open. It expanded until it became a doorway.

"The Stalkers are smarter than I thought," commented Lee. "This is a false doorway." A dozen marines entered the door, weapons raised, while the others stayed in the hall to watch for Stalkers. The group found the shield generator. Sergant Erickson opened a bag he was carring and set up explosives on the generator.

"We have ten minutes to get out of here," he said. "Quick! This ship's goin' down soon." Erickson was half out of that room when a Stalker struck. The sergant was mortally wounded.

"Go on without me," Erickson said. "I'm too injured to go on." They hesitated, but eventually the marines fled to the boarding frigate, Stalkers in persuit.

As the marines fled back to their ship, Roberto was tied by some spared electrical cords in the boarding frigate. He had heard the floor collapse, he had heard Erickson getting killed, and he had heard the marines fleeing. Roberto knew that once the marines returned, he was doomed. There had to be a way out.

The co-pilot's watching me, gun raised, Roberto thought, and the pilot is sitting in his seat, ready to eject the boarding frigate from the alien mothership. That's it! Eject! A grin spread across his face as he formulated an escape plan....

Roberto pulled a knife out of his back pocket. The co-pilot accidently didn't disarm him completely and now he would pay for his mistake. Roberto sliced through the cords that bound him and he punched the co-pilot so hard that he was knocked down. Roberto then proceeded to flee the room he was in and ejected via an escape pod....

The United Grand Celestial Glory
Admiral Clark was sitting in the bridge of the command wing of the United Grand Celestial Glory. The ship was grand in almost every way. Instead of just having a bridge - there was a command wing. Instead of just having weapons - there was a superweapon. Instead of just having docking bays - there was an external docking bay that could fit a capital ship. Clark liked it that way. He'd probably be happy to stay in the United Glory and the Empyreal for the rest of his days.

The High Admiral would have kept sitting there, supervising the charging of the superweapon and the assault on the Stalker mothership. However, an officer went to him.

"Sir," the officer said. "There's something that needs your immediate attention."

"What is it?" Clark asked.

"Take a look at this," the officer replied, turning on a portable TV.

"And now," said a voice on the TV, "here's the show you've been waiting for."

"What's this?" asked the confused admiral.

"Shhh," replied the officer. The TV screen played the theme tune for NNNN.

"This is an NNNN Special Report," said the voice.

"Your point?" Clark asked.

"Today's topic is on the superweapon, the United Grand Celestial Glory," the voice continued. "Our reporters have uncovered information and pictures of the new ship." Now the admiral understood.

"What!?" he shouted angrilly. "$*@&! How did they get this information!? We have to stop them for the sake of national security!"


The Stalker Mothership
Meanwhile, the marines scaled the walls, trying to climb up to the place where the boarding frigate was attached. There was only ten minutes to get as far out of there as they could before part of the mothership exploded - the part they were in. Little did they know, Roberto had already escaped and would try to stop the others from escaping....

The admiral had summoned an emergency meeting. Most major officers were sitting there. On the screen in the meeting room, NNNN played.

"As you may recall, Nanakaland is in the region of The Kingdom of the Midlands," a female voice said on the screen. "Super American VX Man and Nanakaland did a joint project to build a superweapon."

"This is an outrage!" protested a SAVXian officer in the meeting room.

"I don't know how they got this information," commented a Nanakan officer.


The Stalker Mothership
Commander Lee and Lieutenant Watson led the way as the marines scaled up the wall. The group of marines climbed onto what was left of the floor and inched their way to the boarding frigate. Commander Lee turned to look at the Techon marines, who were behind the Nanakan marines.

"Hurry up," he said. "It is only a matter of time before all of the Stalkers come here or this section of the ship explodes."

"NNNN sources report that the superweapons armaments are -" a voice on the screen said. Suddenly the sound and video feed were cut off and was replaced by the NNNN logo.

An Escape Pod
Roberto sat in the small escape pod, thinking of a plan. His detinator was confiscated, so he couldn't destroy the United Glory and contact the fleet. Or could he? Roberto looked around in the escape pod. The beakon there would be sufficent enough to signal the fleet. As for the United Glory, there was a backup timer on the explosives. He grinned as he fired the beakon.

[OOC: Sorry I didn't answer at all earlier, I had school.]

Techon's marines just waited ten feet behind the Nanaka marines everywhere, securing the back. They were amazed at how many stalkers came.
They were running low on ammo.
"Sir, I am almost out!" One called.
"Once your out, just run, last one out of ammo is the last one to run!" Brands yelled.
And just his luck Brands was last to be out. He was five feet behind another marine, the marine was panting, and falling behind.
"Hurry up!" He called up.
The marine just got slower and slower, Brands pased him.
"What is your problem?!" Brands called out, but was horrorstricken at the sight of the marines face.
The marines face was completely black, he was white skinned, but now his face was black.
"Sir," He called. "It is that new drug, Hlink, In was to test it out. It has some side effects," He added with a short rugged laugh.
Brands was stunned, then the marine fell over. Brands turned around, and ran back. the marine still had one power pack on his belt.
"Asshole," He said. He picked off the power packed, and plugged it onto his gun. He then threw the marine over his shoulder fireman stile. With his other hand, he fired at any stalker that got to close.

BOARDING FRIGATE
Four out of the six marines were aboard.
"Were is Brands?" They asked each other.
"Where is Kawolks?" Asked some others.

Brands was almost at the frigate, he reached the door and threw the marine in. He was about to climb in when a stalker tackled him.
He shots its head up, but it had managed to cut his stomach open.
"Sir!" A marine shouted, sticking out his hand.
"Go!" Brands said. More stalkers were coming.
"Sir?"
Brands pulled out a circular black ball, a bomb.
"I will blow the ones who followed me to hell," He said. "GO!"

"Ejecting in 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1," the co-pilot said. "EJECTING!" The boarding frigate ejected and headed back to the United Glory. There was a big explosion a minute after the ejection and the shield generators were disabled. The superweapon prepared to fire!

The United Grand Celestial Glory
The boarding frigate docked in the United Glory. The Techon marines were free to leave now, but the Nanakan marines had to sprint to the weapons sector of the engineering deck on the superweapon. The marines went as fast as they could, hurrying to reach the area in time.

They entered the room, where explosives was clearly attached to the core of the weapons system. As the weapons system warmed up to prepare to fire the superweapon, the bomb was closer to exploding. The marines needed to act fast.

"If Erickson was here, he'd know how to disable it," commented Lieutenant Watson.

"Don't worry," replied Commander Lee. "I can defuse it."

"I hope," one of the marines commented.

The Nanakan marines had no problem at disabling the primary explosives. However, the bomb was complex and had secondary explosives that were on a timer. There was only five minutes to disable this.

"It's more complex than I'm trained to handle," Commander Lee said after a minute of working on the secondary explosives. "I just hope that there's a Techon marine that instead of leaving stayed with us and has enough skill to disable this bomb."

The frigate docked in the Rooster's Crow they departed, the drug side effected marine was carrried off to the infirmary, and the rest walked to the control room. Walthour got up from his seat, the sight of laser bolts flying at the mothership in the background looked rather comical with their discussion taking place.
"Well," Admiral Walthour siad. "It is good to see you are still living, I heard the news already."
"Yes," A marine said. "Leutenant Brands died with honor."
"Yes he did," Walthour said. "Now what is this drug I hear one of you were testing?"
"That was Simmon, he is in the infirmary right now," Someone said.
"Yes, I will talk with him later." Walthour said. "In the meantime, you all will be rewarded with medals, for outstanding courage in this battle, you were the only marines who volunteered to go aboard that ship."

"We're disabling this bomb without Techon's help," replied Lieutenant Watson. "They all left at a different stop of the boarding frigate."

"Then I will disable it," Commander Lee replied. "Which wire should I cut?"

"Don't ask me," all other Nanakan marines said simultaneously.

"Fine," said Lee. "I'll cut the green one." All of the marines had their fingers crossed, hoping that Lee picked the right wire to cut....

"Good," Walthour said. Why did something feel wrong, why wasn't he able to speak with the Nanaka marines, how were they busy?

The green wire was cut and the timer stopped - without any explosions.

"That was close," Lieutenant Watson commented.

"That's just luck," another marine said.

"How'd you guess green?" asked Watson.

"It's Roberto's favorite color," replied Lee. "If it was to be disabled via wires, they probably purposely did it that way."


The superweapon fired, shooting a huge laser beam into space. The beam soared though space and ripped through the hull of the Stalker mothership. The mothership exploded, killing all of the Stalkers on board. The Great System was the only problem remaining, or so they thought....

The Anubis was flying not that far from the United Glory's main cannon when it fired. The red beam sored past, the extreme heat going through the coldness of space, and dmaging the ship's shields just ever so slightly.
"Holy shit!" Jack Blake exclaimed.
"Wow, that is a really big gun," Sage Cornellis said, his jaw dropped open.
They heard about the Great System's fleet, and started to head to the back of the fleet, to help out.

The teams of marines swarmed out of the crashed NSS Celestia and attacked the Stalkers before they could leave their pods. Dozens of shots were fired. Commander Johnson checked the radar. The dots of the enemy pods gradually disappeared. The Stalker invasion of the moon was finally stopped.

The survivors of the Celestia crash went back to the ship. The commander gave the order. Dozens of flares shot up to the sky. Scouts detected the flares and signaled others. Soon, hundreds of Nanakan Space Shuttles from orbit all over the moon started descending. They landed and picked up the crew. Frigates moved down to tow the crashed dreadnaught.

Meanwhile, back in orbit, the remaining Stalker ships grouped together. The Nanakan fleets tried to destroy them, but they appeared to have raised some sort of shielding around the whole fleet. Only one thing could destroy it.

The United Grand Celestial Glory charged up. By the time the crew of the Celestia were picked up, it was ready to open fire. Once all friendlies had cleared the area, the superweapon fired and destroyed the Stalker forces. The Stalker threat had finally been eliminated - or was it?

A pod ejected from the back of one of the Stalker ship just before the Stalker fleet was destroyed. One Stalker had escaped...
