AMF News Update:

Today Potentate Striker Rayne Xolantra made a public statement concerning the Automagfreek military and it's current state. As of now, the Sentinel contingent that made up the entire AMF military is being decommissioned. They are scheduled to be replaced by a newer, more sophisticaed brand of soldier.

Today marks a new beginning for my Empire. With the sad death of Damien also comes the death of his "Sentinels". They are obsolete creatures and are of no further use to me. They will be replaced with a new model of soldier whihc will be far more effective than the Sentinels could ever be. As Damien's Sentinels were made in his image, these new soldiers will be made in my image. The new soldiers can only be produced in small numbers at one time, and they are heavily modified. They are also all female, and their enhanced skills make the non-enhanced Sentinels look pathetic.

I am not sure what to do with the millions of Sentinels still in AMF, but I will deciede shortly.

On second thought....I will use the Sentinels for physical labor. they no longer hav a place in the AMF fighting force, so I might as well put them to good use.

To whom it may concern, we have heard the news that the current leader of AMF plans to decommission the Sentinel program enmasse and replace them with newer, better soldiers. While this leap forward is no doubt an enlightened one, we find it disturbing that you would so hastily reduce a once proud fighting corps into something less than a second class citizen. While we are sure that the Sentinels would remain ever loyal to AMF, surely this blow to their warriors pride can be somehow diminished in order to prevent a sudden flareup of, shall we say, fighting spirit?

The Sketchian military has long been impressed with the abilities of the Sentinel corps. And is very intersted in taking on, or hiring, a fair number of experienced Sentinels as instructors for our military training programs. The experience of such elite troops will no doubt prove to be a useful addition to our extensive programs.

We look foward to your response.

Premier Bomfy stood on the balcony of the Grand House, overlooking the vast urban jungle of Magna Casa, when an aide walked out with the message about the deactivation of the Freek Sentinels.

"This isn't good, a creature bred for war only knows war... and this Xolantra is going to force them all into slavery?" said the Premier, "She's only asking for trouble. She must really hate the sentinels to risk making a move like this, either that or she is just foolish."

"Sir, what if we request a few sentinels to compliment our own Republic's Military Force?" asked the aide.

"What?" Bomfy looked at the aide, "Ask a sentinel to defend another nation with the same passion that they have for their own... not possible. Reports from our own Psychological Corps say that if we hire sentinels, they will only slump into a depression since Aequatio isn't their nation. They aren't fueled by money or compassion, they are fueled by raw patriotism for Automagfreek."

"Sorry Sir, but will you issue a statement for the leader of Automagfreek?" asked the aide.

"No... I doubt that Ms. Xolantra would listen to an old man like me anyway." replied Bomfy.

"Sir, would you like some of those sentinels?"

"Hmmm. They scrapped their military? That's odd. Especially since this came only after Damien's burial. Odd. Very very odd. Just make a note on this is the record log."

ooc: Hey, hey guys. I got first bid on any Sentinels AMF dishes out. Taking my idea........no good copycats......*grumble grumble* :? :P

The High Lord begs AMF to reconsider the decision on the Sentinals. The Sentinals were a highly formidable fighting force. To disband them, and force them into labor, would be a great waste of assets. I reccomend that AMF takes advantage of its resources soundly. To destroy all of these soildiers would be a crime. Perhaps a simple restructuring of the Military Command structure would suffice.

However the Sentinals do resemble a likeness to the famed damien. If Rayne is wishing to solidify her power somehow, I have no right to criticize. Yet I still believe this is a bit of a harsh reaction, for I beleive that the Sentinals are 100% loyal to the state, with or without Damien.

The Sentinels are now obsolete, and their program has been terminated. The remaining "software" is now going to be used, then terminated. We no longer have need for such "creatures".

Bump

It is now official, Project Black Storm (The Sentinel project) has now been 100% terminated. All obsolete software will now be destroyed, and Project Red Haze software will take it's place. Destruction of Project Black Storm software has begun, and will continue until nothing remains. A new age is upon us!

Great, a more efficient way of killing those who oppose you. For some odd reason, we are not surprised with this action made by 'Automadfreek.'
