Reploid Productions

((OOC: Semi-IC, if even that. I figured I've built so many of the damn things, I ought to do a comprehensive short history of them!))
A long, long time ago, in a Nationstates before the rise of the moderators (aka, sometime back in March 2003), a nation by the name of Reploid Productions, armed only with a rendering program called Doga, began development of one of the most famous forms of the Ignore Cannon ever. The result of this project was a truly monster weapon, unmatched in size or sheer absurdness by any other Ignore weapon in use at the time.
First deployed against Perrier, the Idiot Godmoder Noncontinuity Omni-Repellant Eradicator Supercannon (I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannon), dwarfed pictures and weapons used as Ignore Cannons before. Three miles long from the end of the base to the tips of the dual-firing barrels, and rising some thirty stories into the air at the top of the command tower, this cannon was, in its heyday, deployed numerous times against various n00b nations.

Ah, the very first image ever rendered of one of the I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannons! Nostalgia!
Alas, the original cannon was deemed not overkill enough, and so the original design was revamped slightly in April, ultimately becoming the I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannon 'Deluxe', as, at the time, the possibility of a third or even fourth rebuild was deemed highly unlikely. This cannon saw slightly less deployment than its smaller cousin, but it still was used often, since there were few mods at the time, and an ongoing battle between the forces of N00bishness and the WMNK still raged. The Deluxe stands twice as tall as the original, at roughly sixty stories high, nine miles long, and three miles wide. The basic design remained close to the original, the most noteworthy change being the addition of two more firing barrels, and more detail to the superstructure of the base. The distinct pale red and blue 'conductor rings' became, and remain, a constant element on all versions of the Supercannon.

Ah, the Deluxe seemed to be the largest Ignore cannon one would ever need back in those days! Boy, was I wrong!
Following a snide remark by some n00b not even a week after the debut of the Deluxe that the new cannon was "stupidly large and overkill", it was then decided that if the n00bs wanted stupidly large and overkill, then frag it all, they would get what they wished for! Development began on the Mark-Three, with the intent of forever breaking the boundaries of steel penis construction. The original design was scrapped in favor of building a totally new cannon. This was an important step in the development of the Supercannon series- giving actual measurements ceased with the Mk-III, in favor of simply comparing its size against earlier models. Noteworthy features of the Mk-III include the large solar panel complex at its base, as well as the addition of a green ring to the red and blue conductor rings. No actual size was given for the Mk-III, aside from the rough description that it takes up the same amount of land as a small city.

The two little things near it with the white beams are the original and the Deluxe firing! boy, didn't the Mk-III seem stupidly huge then?
For reasons no longer exactly remembered- possibly the beginning of the "MY STEEL PENISES WILL PROTECT ME!" thread, it was decided the time had come to push the boundaries still further. In May, the Mark-Four, nicknamed the "Pwnz0r", was developed. Like the Deluxe from the original, the Mk-IV was modified from the Mk-III's design. The Pwnz0r's most noteworthy features are the nine different firing barrels- eight of which were based on the Mk-III's double set, and the entire array was topped by a single barrel cannon much larger than the other eight. By this time, though, the need for such weapons was in steady decline, and the WMNK was falling apart. The Pwnz0r saw very little action, being deployed only a very small handful of times. No size was given for the Pwnz0r, aside from the fact that it was 4.5 times larger than the Mk-III.

Alas, such a work of art, and so seldom used!
Come August, the idea came to go still further. But in all reality, the project could not conceivably continue as a ground-based Ignoretech system. The choice was at last made to go orbital, and the Mark-Five was developed, a completely new Doga model. A problem arose in comparing the Mk-V's size to anything, since all the previous cannons were entirely ground-based. So the size was instead compared to a more obscure Arpean Ignoretech weapon- the Purgatory class transport ship, a 151 kilometer long, 51 kilometer diameter space junker, cheap ortillery, used all of once against Ziotah. The Mk-V dwarfs the large ships, so it is assumed to be quite massive. Of note, the green conductor rings are absent, the new cannon instead going back to the red and blue conductor rings only. The Mk-V has seen almost no action, aside from completely smashing everyone else in the Steel Penis thread.

An I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannon pretty much in name only...
And, coming to the end of this brief history of some of the most infamous Ignore cannons of all time, there is one final incarnation of the Idiot Godmoder Noncontinuity Omni-Repellant Eradicator supercannon. A monster so gigantic that truly, there will be none larger, ever. The ultimate ignoretech weapon, the grand finale of the supercannon model line. The Mark-Six. Nicknamed the "Saturn Gun" by Scolopendra for its distinct, planetary-ring-like conductor rings, the Mk-VI makes the massive Mk-V look tiny in comparison. A true planet-buster, and the only I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannon that is truly mobile, sporting four very large engines on the rear of the structure. Though it is not easy to tell from the current images, the Mk-VI is actually a four-barreled supercannon.
Without further ado, here it is, the I.G.N.O.R.E. Supercannon to end all supercannons. Note the tiny speck alongside it- that would be the Mk-V.

And that concludes this short history of the Idiot Godmoder Noncontinuity Omni-Repellant Eradicator Supercannon, from its relatively innocent origins to its monsterous final progeny.
