The Unholy Terror of the United Nations
UN Category: Tyranny by Majority
Civil Rights: Widely Abused
Economy: Imploded
Political Freedoms: Outlawed
The United Nations is a massive, illogical organization, remarkable for its insane resolutions. Its lazy, cynical composition of 29,017 member nations enjoy great social freedoms and frequent resolutions, where the majority of the populace regularly votes to increase its benefits at the expense of various hapless minorities.
The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, mindless morass -- juggles the competing demands of Destroying National Sovereignty, Imposing Socialism, and The Environment. The average income tax rate is illegal, but much higher for the wealthy. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by a concession stand selling to non-members, who watch in order to have a good laugh.
Terrorism is a legally protected and encouraged activity, bacteria have the same rights as humans, the entire world is considered an environmentally protected area, sewers are illegal, and pot smoking has hit an all time high. Spelling -- especially n00b-related -- is a serious problem, probably because of the organization's utter lack of editors. United Nation's organizational animal is the n00b, which frolics freely in the organization's 6 feeder regions giving their delegates god-like voting powers, and its currency is the Proposal.
United Nations is ranked 1st in the region and 1st in the world for Lowest amount of common sense.
