The Red Dragon was once only a Son of Perdition (One who was cast out of heaven as was Lucifer), who several millenia ago possessed a human body and ran a campaign of terror all over the Andromeda Galaxy. He and his immediate disciples, 12 other sons of perdition who had stolen bodies from cloning facilities, swept through that neigboring galaxy, conquering simple civilizations and pretending to be Gods... not far from the truth. They grew stronger until they caught the attention of the Guardian Archangels of that galaxy. A great war waged, between those who admired the Red Dragon as their God, and those who did not want to fall under their rule... When the war was over, The Red Dragon was stripped of his body, as were his Disciples. Their spirits were cast to Optera IV, a Jurassic-Era planet in the Milky Way galaxy, light years away from even the most primitive civilizations. Bound to the planet with no way to leave, they would be powerless, and would not harm anyone for at least a few hundred million years.
The Red Dragon and his disciples possessed the only bodies they could... a few Dinosaurs. They grew stronger and stronger, exercising their power and training themselves in prehistoric-type wars.
That was until the Capsule Corporation decided the planet was a perfect candidate for a colony.
Realizing the potential ability to leave the planet, as well as get an army under his power, he waited.
The Nethurds, a primitive and very violent species of insect, were very abundant in one area of Optera IV... The species was simple and extremely weak-minded, but caught the Red Dragon's attention with their ability to rip through the skin of animals and attack them from the inside. he saw these flying attacker bugs as a potential tool for doing his dirty work. He believed that if he could no longer get people to consider him a God, he would simply enslave them. So he cast a spell over these simple creatures. The Nethrud species was now under his control, and each of them held the power to work their way into a body and enslave them into the Red Dragon's power, stripping the spirits of those infected from their powers of free will, the simple act to make choices.
As is now recent history, the Red Dragon unleashed swarms of these easy-to-reproduce insects into the Colonies on Optera IV, and soon enough, he had a whole population and a good chunk of a Capsule Corporation fleet under his control.
He fled back to Andromeda with his newfound armies, and began terrorizing the powerful nations there. His armies grew, absorbing entire worlds and populations, as well as fleets of ships and technology. Knowing his Dinosaur body was nothing compared to the complex and powerful body of a Human. He picked out the most powerful of the Capsule Corporation, one who was once considered a great leader of some sort on the colony, a female named Emma Capsule.
The fact that The Red Dragon could now be addressed as a female was of no consequence. She set course back to the Milky Way after her armies had grown strong enough, terrorizing many smaller worlds and bringing them into her folds.
Her Disciples found a civilization that was capable of making Semi-Organic mecha, and using some of that World's technology, they each created super bodies, which they quickly possessed and began to explore... artificial bodies with extreme scientific power built right into them... a nice addition to their current abilities.

The Red Dragon's armies are astronomically powerful and can easily bring death or enslavement to any who resist.
The only way to free the "Stolen" is to have someone bind the spirits of the Red Dragon and her disciples, and have them cast out into nothingness ((In a later RP ;))) Until then, any time you attack the Red Dragon's armies, you are only killing friends and allies who have been enslaved.
