High Military Command Order

Orders have been issued to fortify the border between Russia and Kazakhstan.This is to stop the nation of Isolationtst Peoples from invading into Southern Russia and from possible invading into Moscow to Volgograd.The number of units being sent to the border are as follows.

3 Million Red Army Soldiers(144 Infantry Divisions)
9,000 Artillery Pieces(Howitzers/Rocket Launchers/Morters/etc)
5,000 Red Army Tanks (10 Red Army Tank Divisions)

OOC: um, what part of Russia that borders Kazakhstan do you have? According to the last map I have, your nowhere near Kazakhstan, and I haven't read anything that indicates your close to there. The closest place we're at is by southeastern Ukraine. And I'm still miles from the Ukrainian border. But either way......

The supply ships left their docks simoultanously in space. They had dropped off yet another 2,000 missiles marked with the flag of Dark Terror and the Bisonic inscriptions.

30 minutes later 500 of those were let loose on Malatose army sites (again I don't know specifics so casualties should not exceed over 10,000 men dead, and maybe 100 tanks destroyed).

10 minutes later another 500 were launched against even more clustered army sites provided by allied intelligence. Then an hour later the remaining 1,000 with the DT incriptions were launced at different Malatose army sites.

OOC: Total casualties should be around somewhere near the 50,000 mark for infantry and about 400 tanks destroyed, with random numbers for all else...but again this is all going to be dictated by RP'ing and if you can pull off lower casualties then its all good.

Tahar Joblissan space assets, having just been put on alert, have begun tracking and firing high energy laser pulses - invisible, silent, deadly - at the missile satellites, the type and profile of which has been definitively identified.

With the tentative identification of DT markings on the missiles, Tahar Joblissan laser satellites have been ordered to active attacks on the entire network, including the resupply vessels.

Communique, Satellite Central Operations Coordination Center:
Missile operations appear - on the basis of tentative identification - be a joint DT-Macabean project. Permission to pursue on active high priority destruction course of the system?

DT operations? By all means, permission to expend expendables and move destruction of the system to high priority.

They have also begun using non-renewable - chemical or other expendable energy sources - and are firing at full rates as targets are identified.

We are putting all air and land defenses on full alert. We are officially neutral and this is just defence for our own nation.

Word of similar attacks on Tahar Joblis and close allies of Tahar Joblis has spread rapidly to Malatose through IP territory, as only rumors can fly, and rallies supporting the Malatosian invasion have been held unofficially by outraged Tahar Joblissans. External news sources have received little information on the damages resulting from the missile attacks on Tahar Joblis; rumors range from the dramatic to the horrorific to the positively unbelievable.

In the mean time, Tahar Joblissan laser satellites have continued to hunt enemy satellite assets, and word of an emergency referendum put to the Tahar Joblissan people has thus far explained the blackout of news from Tahar Joblis.

Over the past months of the war a new sattelite had been launched before TJ launched his attacks. The new sattelite bared Bisonic markings, and was fairly small, not adequate for an attack sattelite.

As soon as it reached space it was deactivated and speedily made its way back to earth. If calculations were correct it would land smack dab in the center of Malatose holdings.

It was the final act to frame Dark Terror....

OOC: I've OOC'ly decided to stop attacks so that would be the last one. Of course, this isn't an attack, your supposed to find the crash site...see all the DT markings, and "assume" that it was an attack sattelite.

Secret Encrypted Message to Command, AG's Alpha, Bravo, Echo & Foxtrot

Message from Chairman of Defense Dominus Mark:

The growing threat that is Malatose needs to be dealt with and soon. We have stopped their supply of oil, but that might inflame them more. AG's are already on guard, so any elevation of alertness would be strenious on the troops. Recon is to be continued, with the added objective of penetrating Malatose lines in order to map the terrain behind them. Terrorist activities are to be initiated against soft targets of military value. Get in touch with local city/town leaders, offering them incentives to revolt or uprise against Malatose rule. Black Ops are being run through The Zodiac Killer units, though AG units are given authorization to strike if the opportunity presents itself. Plans are currently being drawn up on the most efficient way to knock Malatose out of the war.

The light from the watch glowed as "Hawkeye" looked down. 3:15 am. Just a little bit longer, then we start the fireworks, he thought. He and his team of 5 other men had infultrated into Malatosian territory through Yalta, along with several other Zodiac Killer units. Their jobs were to create havoc behind enemy lines, sapping men and material away from the front, increasing the odds of a breakout. He glanced at his men. The look on their faces told him they were ready, though one had the nervous look of someone who hadn't done this in real life before. Training for these missions had been intense. Hawkeye's team was hunting the commander of one of the enemy units. They had been keeping tabs on him for two days now, and had finally seen him enter a base earlier that night. Now was time to strike.


3:20 am. Launching time. Hawkeye motioned his hand foward, signiling his men to follow him. It was only 10 yards to the perimeter fence, but that was through open territory, always a difficult task of staying hidden. A few guards had been patrolling the fence, but only in pairs. "Bender" was motioned foward to cut the fence, and he did so in less than 4 seconds. Hawkeye was impressed. The stress of the mission, and the anxiety, must be helping his reflexes. The 6 men slipped through quietly, making sure that the fence was not obviously breached.

Three of the men slowly made their way towards a cluster of buildings which they had identified as the stock and supply buildings. Lots of ammo and shells there, perfect for blowing up. Peering around the corner, Hawkeye spotted two guards. Motioning for one man to go to the other end of the building, he counted to ten then slowly leaned out. A small splash of crimson red flew up from the silent bullet put into one guard's head. Hawkeye saw the other guard's eyes go big at the sudden death of his partner, then slump over from the knife in his back. Picking the lock and slipping inside, the whole ordeal had lasted less than 30 seconds. They placed their charges then slipped out, moving back towards their entry point in the fence.

Group two had been moving about the camp, trying to get an angle for a shot at the local commander. Finding a spot in an empty storage building, "Eagle" set up his custom rifle and adjusted the beads for distance. His two teammates were watching through the side windows, being on guard for any stray soldiers that might be close enough to hear where the shot came from. Five seconds passed, then ten. The sound of breaking glass and the quiet *bam* from the silenced rifle startled the two watching guard. Soon after, screams could be heard in the command building as the other officers in the room realized what had happened. But the three Zodiac Killers had already left their hideout, proceeding to another exit point in the gate. However, they encountered two guards along the way and a short firefight downed one of the Killers. His teammate dragging the body, Bender cut another hole in the fence, then proceeded to help in dragging the body off to the rondevou(sp?) point.

Moments after the team had left the camp, the charges in the ammo depot were set off, destroying that building and the supplies in it.


OOC: pretty much, this is what's happening in several sections of Malatosian territory in the Ukraine and close to IP units. Makes it look like terrorist activities.

Meanwhile at the Kazakhstan border the time was up and the first barrage of artillery began to fire.The 2,000 9K58 Smerch Rocket Launchers fired across the border into Kazakhstan into Iso held territory.

Screams of the rockets falling back to earth greeted the ears of thousands of Isolationist soldiers along the Kazakhstan border in the early dawn. The chaos and confusion amid the explosions caused several supply depots and clusters of soldiers to be vaporized by impacting rockets. Patriot counter-missile batteries started opeing up trying to knock out some of the enemy rockets, but in doing so opened themselves up to attack due to their high-powered search radars. 2 dozen batteries were destroyed within minutes, and another 4 batterie's radars were knocked out. The few AM-4 Shameless long range anti-missile sites set up had little impact on the raining missiles, only scoring a few dozen hits among the thousands of incoming. The city of Oral was devestated by the attacks, as hundreds of missiles were targeted at it, due to its strategic placement between several roads and railroad lines. All along the North/Northwestern border of Kazakhstan and Russia (ooc:assuming that's were your firing from, since its closest to Volgograd) lit up in the many explosions. A few Command & Control Centers were able to get messages off to other various command centers further behind lines, but most of the messages were garbled or cut out midway. But with the amount of incoming garbled messages, Isolationist generals soon realized that they were facing the attack they had been warned of.


The Empire Air Forces were a little better prepared, due to constant recon flights and a few fighter patrols. Sentry radars got glimpses of enemy bogies, but were quickly destroyed by ground artillery. 3 AWACS were up, and their radars and scopes were soon filled with bandits. They relayed their findings. Dozens of squadrons were being scrambled, but a few of the airbases were also under rocket attack, damaging planes being readied for launch. Several squadrons of the 8th Fighter Wing got airborne and headed towards the incoming bandits. The IP planes kept their radar's off, being vectored in by the hovering AWACS. Currently the only one's capable of fighting off the attackers were in RF-11 Archangels, though they would soon be helped by other planes.

There were 72 Archangels that were up (ooc: in 3 squadrons, 24 planes each) split into their own squads, each taking a different direction and differnt group of bandits to attack. They were all armed with AIM-9X's, the most recently upgraded version of the AIM-9 in IP inventory. Squad 1 found their targets heading towards the Aqsay Depot. They angeled to attack, still not having brought up their radars. Closing to 25 miles, the 24 Archangles in the squad brought up their radars and fired two AIM-9X's each, then smoothly slipt into four groups of 6 in order to evade incoming missiles that were soon to be coming.

Squad 2 headed towards Oral to stop any incoming bombers from pounding the city even more.

Squad 3 flew west towards the Russian/Kazakhstan border, moving to engage any other flights that were bound to be coming.

Viper SAM platforms turned on their search radars, scanning the skies for the enemy should they fly too close.

AG's Alpha and Bravo: when ground troops arrive, fight as you have been trained. Stall any Malatosian advance so reinforcments can be brought into bear. Hold ground while you can, but fall back to other fortified positions when necessary. Help is on the way.

The first wave of attacks finished.The second wave of attack was initiated when 750,000 Red Army Troops crossed the border.2,000 Tanks also crossed the border followed by artillery.

With the Radars picking up a large number of aircraft..the Red Airforce were quick to scramble Su-27 and MiG-29 Aircraft.

Su-25 FighterBomber Aircraft are to assist...in attack.

An erie silence took hold in the fortifications along the Kazakhstan border. Every IP soldier knew what would be coming next after such a bombardment. They only thing they didn't know was how many.

That question was soon answered. The rumbles slowly started to rise in tone, till the roar was quiet loud. Dust and ruble was still in the air, sometimes making it hard to see clearly. But everyone knew that a big number of enemies were coming, and they were close.

IP soldiers didn't have to wait long. The first flash of the tank guns gave them something to target with their AT missiles. The first vanguard of tanks were quickly targeted by a dozen missiles and were soon knocked out of commission. But more tanks and armored vechicles kept coming, and Malatosian troops were starting to come up as well. IP machine guns opened up on the larger groupings of Malatosian troops, but were taking fire. Snipers strategically located started picking off officers on the ground, and the occasional tank commander who stuck his head out to get better bearings. Artillery shells started exploding among IP troops again, though they were better prepared for it this time in their trenches. IP soldiers started calling in their own artillery, located a couple of miles behind the lines. IP Crusaders and MLRS's opened up, firing hundreds of rounds a minute, hoping to try to stall the Malatosian advance. IP tanks were called up. The first few divisions were in M1A2 Abrams tanks. They performed up to their standards, scoring several good hits against Malatose tanks. But they were soon being outnumbered. The first few tanks sent in were destroyed or damaged beyond repair. But more tank divisions were forming to the rear a few miles, digging in tank traps for the oncoming Malatose advance. IP troops and armor started a fighting retreat, trying to slow the Malatose advance to give time to forming divisions in the rear. They moved to the second fortified line, which was located 5 miles outside of Oral.

IP forces near Aqtobe had a little easier fight, as it appeared there were fewer Malatose troops heading in that direction. While they took fewer casualties, they were still threatened with being overrun and they too retreated back to their secondary fortified line, located 15 miles outside of Aqtobe.

The RF-11 Archangels had their hands full with the developing air battle. They had downed a few fighters, but there were still more coming at them. They turned and split into the pre-planned groups, still menacing the Malatose fighters and keeping their attention. More IP air-superiority fighters were screaming towards the fight. The pride of the air force were on their way, and it was the 22nd Fighter Squadron in the newest additions to the air force inventory: the F-62 Dark Raven. Armed to the teeth with over a dozen missiles, foward-swept wings for increased stability and manuverability, powerful engines to outrun most opponents, the Dark Raven was the ultimate fighter in the Empire Air Force. All 72 Dark Raven's in the Empire Air Force had been sent to the front, and were dearly needed. Also along for the ride were F-56 Rapiers, a slightly inferior version of the Dark Raven. There were 72 of them as well.

Each group of F-56's and F-62's split into smaller flights, targeting the incoming fighter bomber's of Malatose. Dozens and dozens of missiles lept off the wings of IP fighters, several on the same target as others. The Malatosian fighter bombers weren't that much of a problem for the air-superiority fighters, but AWACS had relayed that incoming Su-27's and MiG-29's were headed their way. The Rapiers kept with the fighter bombers, firing at them as they were slower than the incoming fighters. The Dark Ravens broke off from their bandits, and formed up to take on the MiG's and Su's. This would be a good skills test, thought one IP pilot in his Dark Raven.

This is the scene all over Siberia and the Urals as NKVD troops shuffle Conscripts onto the trains headed for Kazahkstan.
The Red Army is mobilizing for Total war.

The Army Divisions and Tank Divisions didn't anticipate such resistance from the Iso troops.The dead and wounded were taken off of the battlefield.The Red Army T-90 Tanks continued to move forward followed by Red Army soldiers..who were taking taking cover behind the tanks.The Red Army captains began to call in artillery strikes...to fire into the area's where they had recieved the heavy artillery fire from earlier.They fired with howitzers and Rocket Launchers.

**Secret Red Airforce Mission**

3 Tu-160 Bombers are to take of from the Ukraine as soon as possible.There mission are to bomb enemy targets in Kazakhstan.The Bombers will be escorted by 4 MiG-29 Jets..which will take off from bases in Volgograd and meet up

West Mongolian Air Base, not far from the IP/TJ line of control between Kazakhstan and the FSR:

"Orders are for a detached air support mission to aid our IP allies. Provide a little push of air support to IP forces. Mission profile is to be low, fade from IP zones of control for a night strike mission. This will require a southerly loop, and we'll be fixing mid-range exterior fuel tanks on the TJB-2 Magus squadron in addition to paired light Coatl II missile pods, and a small pad of 50 twenty pound incendiary/high explosive unguided bombs. We'll be dropping the fuel tanks at an IP depot for future reuse at some point, then skirting north around 1 am local time to begin strikes. You'll have a hundred Coatl II - type missiles each; I don't expect you to find enough targets to use all of them. If necessary, this mission will be broken up into multiple hit and run strikes from advanced IP airbases. In the event that you engage enemy craft, the TJB-2 Magus is fully well equipped for air-to-air combat. We'll be asking the IPs to provide air support. Return path is to also be low-profile; we don't want Malatose to be aware of exterior meddling in their war with IP. Yet. First priority in this mission is that Malatose assume IP craft, second is bringing back everybody in one piece. Third is to take out Malatosian ground craft. Fourth is to take out Malatosian air craft. If any one of you crews confirm 50 armor kills for yourselves, I'll take the whole squadron out for a night on the town when you come home."

OOC Note: TJB-2 Magus = Two man medium strike bomber/heavy forward swept wing fighters. Each will carry a full load of a dozen advanced long range air to air missiles, has a nose mounted 80mm cannon (and some 20mm cannon). They will not be carrying max rated payload by the time they arrive - far from it - and be more or less operating as fighters on a low profile ground attack mission. Coatl II = 120mm anti-tank missile (will be used to target armor).
