Just out of my own curiosity, I'd like to see what sort of characters you all have killed off over the course of your roleplay. Here's mine:

Name: General Perry von Slagalotz
Age at Death: 83
Cause of Death: Cardiac arrest
Brief Bio: Perry von Slagalotz was the great-great-great-great grandson of SLAGLandic founder Enrick von Slagalotz. Von Slagalotz rose to the rank of General of The SLAGLandic Armed Forces and served during The SLAGLands' most militarily active period, under the guidance of Prime Minister Bill Bicknell.

Name: Prime Minister William Charles Bicknell
Age at Death: 44
Cause of Death: Gunshot wound to the head
Brief Bio: In his three years as Prime Minister, William Bicknell managed to break what was then known as The Disputed Territories of The SLAGLands out of its period of isolationist and onto the world stage. Bicknell led The SLAGLands into a leading role in the WMNK Coalition. He was the first Prime Minister of The SLAGLands to be assassinated. His assassin, Gregor Chi, was a member of the notorious Silver Anacondas/New Slagalotz terrorist group and was later apprehended.

Cause of Death: Gunshot wound to the head
Brief Bio: Upon the death of Perry von Slagalotz, Garet took over as Acting General of The SLAGLandic Armed Forces. A nasty drunken incident in Greater Helgreens, however, caused him to lose his position and a great deal of his temper. Garet fled The SLAGLands, heading up the rebel faction known as The Silver Anacondas/New Slagalotz. He was tracked to the old Most Moral Order battlegrounds and killed by the gun of SLAGLandic General Redford "Red" Groening.

Name: Betty Sargeant
Age at Death: 77
Cause of Death: Cardiac arrest related to ingestion of toxins
Brief Bio: Sargeant served as CEO of Granny Slag's Homestyle Confections during the last ten years of her life, before which she served as a major shareholder and executive. Unbeknownst to Ms. Sargeant, she was the victim of an unexpected takeover bid by her trusted friend and housekeeper, Vivian Lockheart. Sargeant left Lockheart all of her earthly possessions--including her shares of GSHC--in her will, and Lockheart was more than happy to claim that inheritance after she slipped poison into Ms. Sargeant's soup and a few c-notes into the SLAGTown Chief of Police's pocket.

Ive come to the conclusion that your characters have a 50% chance of an unnatural death.

Make that 75% seeing as how the second cardiac arrest was due to unnatural causes.

Im trying to be a little optomstic there. well actually being very optomistic I could say they are all natural because a small object going through ur brain will naturally kill you.

But you have a 50% closed casket funeral rate there.

Brief Bio: One of the co-founders of the ADPK, Nicholas Cage is the older brother of Alexia Cage, the blood thirsty leader of the ADPK that waged civil war on the Krowemohian Goverment. He died in Faculty 312.

Casue of Death: Impaled through the chest.
Brief Bio: The leader of the Armed Democratic Peple of Krowemoh, Alexia held a personal grudge against Princess Janus Mew for kidnapping her older brother. She was later captured and brought to the same facility that her brother Nicholas died in.


That's all, really. Nicholas wasn't a chara, really just an NPC. Alexia is the only chara I've axed off. ^^;; I need to get back into the swing of things, I'm getting soft again.

Brief Bio: Aaron Gaines leader of Casey-Westfield was killed by a Shot to the Chest by angry U.S. Soilders two days after the City of Casey-Westfield broke away from the U.S. and formed a new Nation. Most people thought of him as the Devil and loved the news of his death.

Brief bio: Captain of the first Archangel class thaumatological attack carrier Zeroel, she was serious about her work, though kindhearted, and mildly entertaining in the rare instances she let herself get tipsy. She was a widow, and is survived by her three-year-old daughter.

Name: Hagoro Hamamura
Age: 42
Cause of death: Heart failure brought on gravity-induced trauma and beating
Brief bio: A scientist sent aboard the Zeroel for the Uranus Survey. In reality, a member of the human-supremacy group, Mankind Against Nonhumans. He smuggled explosives and sarin gas on board, and is responsible for the death of the ship's entire crew. He was hunted down and killed by a grief-stricken Zeroel, the ship's EI

I've killed off a few other named characters, but that's in a history thread, not in any 'present' storylines.

Cause of death: Mortally Wounded by Nuclear Explosion
Brief bio: Kyou Graav was the first Emperor of Steel Butterfly to break away from isolation. (OOC: Read - The first on NS) He also established the earth colony which would exist until his death, when it was destroyed by a terrorist's nuclear bomb. Emperor Graav was a smart ass but had a kind heart and was well liked around the NationStates community. He was a part of both the WMNK and GDODAD at the same time, the only world leader to ever do so.

Brief bio: Satin, who served as Chief Advisor to Emperor Graav up until the end, became Emperor out of tradition, but died a week later due to his injuries.

Name: Emperor John Cannon

Cause of death: Gunshot to the Head by Current Emperor Alexander Nemerov
Brief bio: Cannon, the former High General of Steel Butterfly, took office after the death of Joseph Satin, and lead the already troubled nation of Steel Butterfly down the toilet. Cannon was the only Emperor ever elected, although he changed all of his policies after he won. He established marshall law and generally spread chaos throughout the empire. He was killed by current Emperor, and one of the losers of the election, Alexander Nemerov after a Nemerov and a crack commando team found him on a vacation in the mountains.

Warheit thrusted his blade through Krimm's bladder, piss spraying throughout his body. He slowly cut up through towards and through his stomach until the pitiful man had died. Cutting Krimm's head off, Warheit then put in on a five foot stick, which he then impailed through Krimm's body and into the ground.

Brief bio: Krimm used to work as a intelligence officer for the Empire until he switched sides sometime during the Marathon cold war. Hated by society, he put his spy skills to use working for bounty hunters. He met his horrid fate at the hands of and enraged Rei Warheit.

Brief Bio: As the socialist ruler of Roania, he was a very, very bad man who tried to eliminate every one who wasn't Rasputin Macchiavelli. After he came back, he tried to take his revenge on everyone who had gotten in his way last time.

Brief Bio: Police officer who spent his professional carrer patroling the Warrens of the Hack. His record was flawless and was responsible for many arrests. He was killed while trying to bring in a ring of slackers. Four other officers died before he did, and two more afterwards before the criminals were finally killed. He only appeared in The Future Has Imploded Into the Present (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1903286#1903286)

Name: President Carl Gibson

Cause of Death: Old Age
Brief Bio: War hero in the Corporate Rebellion, long standing president of the Hack, duely re-elected ever five years until being appointed President-For-Life. Not long after presidental election laws were changed, he was found dead in his office in the Corporate Spire. Speaker for the President Victor Solis became the interm President before his succession was approved by the Senate, elevating him to President for Life.

Cause of Death: "Hunting Accident"
Brief Bio: The son of Elizabeta and Victor Solis was killed in a hunting accident not long after turning 5. There is a bit of mystery about the death as no autopsy was performed, nor was there any public announcement, nor was there a public funeral. The small, private funeral was closed-casket. The vast majority of the Hack don't know he died. Many didn't even know he existed.

Brief Bio: First Premier of the People's Republic of Zeronia. Born into a peasant family. General of the revolting forces that led to Zeronia's independence from the heartless rule of King Sellofane V in 1953. Read about Zeronia's history (and more about Tony Kazzero) here! (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51138) He started the trend of nation-wide religious, sexual, ethnic equality and tolerance that Zeronia is well known for. He brought peace and unity throughout the country, and even made progress with establishing a peaceful agreement with the disputed territories. He married Jocelyn, who he met during the revolt. They both had three children, Xavier, Morpheus, and Lina, and they adopted a fourth, Damien. Although a strong opponent of political freedoms, he was seen as a man of good judgement. Many of the older Zeronians still mourn the loss of Zeronia's first hero.

Brief Bio: Son of Tony Kazzero. Even before taking the seat of power, he was comfortable in taking charge. Living a slightly more comfortable life than his father, Xavier completed his BA in Political Science and Psychology, and an MA in Political Science. He later finished a second BA in Military History with a minor in Classical Studies. While his father was incapacitated by a near-fatal bullet wound, Xavier temporarily took power and very efficiently enacted the famous 'Clean Sweep' operation. After his father's death, Xavier had big plans for Zeronia. During Xavier's rule, Zeronia boasted world class health care, and a well-funded educational system. Even Zeronia's economy was on the upswing. Like his father, he was keen on keeping a tight grip on power, but at the same time, relaxed several restrictions on the lives of the citizenry. The result? He became a celebrity. Everyone loved him. He loved them. He also loved cigars. Unfortunately, his love of the latter led to cancer in his left lung. An immediate transplant was thought to have fixed it, but it was too late. The cancer had spread to his brain, his lungs, and several points around his body. It was only a matter of time. His death was a shock to everyone. In fact, it still is.

Brief Bio: Long time politician, served as Secretary of State, President and finally Mayor of the City of Attica in Northern Aequatio (His hometown.) Served with Bomfy's Freedom Fighters during the revolution at the founding of the nation.

Cause of Death: Unknown, Suspected Suicide
Brief Bio: Long time politician, served as Secretary of Defence and as Leader of the Conservative Party in Aequatio. Found dead after defeat in first national elections in his penthouse apartment with 9mm bullet lodged in his skull and a Lugar lying next to his body, note declaring that Premier Bomfy was corrupt and a phony. Posthumously declared a traitor to the republic and corpse was cremated.

King Tordor the XX: a insane king who disbanded his army and used his fleet to commit piracy before geting crushed by Kecha and Garrison II. Killed by bomb dropped on his castle. Which was just the begining of the Tordoran wars.

Chairman Woe: An man who could only be destribed as pure evil, after seizing control of most of the country by force, diplomacy and threats he made the mistake of murdering the king of Teritora bringing down the wraith of the IDI. After geting his army, all 500,000 of them wiped out by the Belem forces he was vaperized by Cybertupia's Particle cannon leaving a half mile deep 2,000 yard wide crater in the capital which was mostly ruined afterwards. Also during his reign he had all the jews, Muslims, Clerics, gays, Elves, dwarves, catpeople and many others rounded into death camps and even released videos showing how they murdered, including what is now concidered a classic by fanatical elf haters, the death by medical expermentation videos which got Tordor invaded also by Menelmacar.

King Tordor IX and Queen Tordora the XI:The rightful rulers of Tordor driven into exile by Tordor the XX, they returned to rebuild Tordor which they did quickly with international aid. However they were betrayed and murdered by their Prime Minster, Mishisi Geran.

Prime Minster Mishisi Geran: Selected as prime Minster by Kign Tordor the IX and Queen Tordora the XI, he had them murdered 10 years later as part of planned corporate coup. He also tried to murder the heir who became Queen Sera but was then 7. However the Royal Guard escaped with the Princess and loyal forces with the aid of Europa Brittania stopped the coup.

I can't really remember, though I can say with some certainty that I've killed off very few characters.

I do recall one of my characters dying in a fairly recent RP. Terrnos Ashknight, young male itinerant chaotic good mercenary of sorts.

I have plans, though, for more death in the future. As soon as I get crackin' and start writing.

Of course, I have had some special operatives die on the field of battle. They were.... almost characters. The most developed only had some small measure of personality. But more interesting than meat grinders at any rate.

King Ashagar Tor Asha: age 45, assassinated by 50 Tordoran assassins at his mothers funeral Tournament, 35 of whom he killed before dieing.

King Latira Tor Asha:age 60, Died after pulse Gerenade attack on his armored limo, assassined unknown but the Torls another royal family supected because of 2,000 year old feud.

Age: 37
Cause of death: Violent dismemberment
Brief bio: Not much to say, really... he was a microsurgeon on the E.S.V Farspace Horizon. He barely escaped death when his ship crashed while investigating Extra-Solar Artifact S-14, but then ended up being killed anyway by a zero-gravity lion.

Name: The Duke of Chateau (Henry Klapston)
Age at death: 29
Cause of death: Shot in head on the field of honor
Quick bio: The son of a wealthy Noropian aristocrat. The Duke of Chateau is expected, if not required by law, to take up the Prime Ministership of the Noropian Duke's Assembly. Henry Klapston's father died early, vaulting the new 14th Duke of Chateau into a leadership role in Noropia at the young age of 22. Chateau's support was vital to the opening of Noropian coal deposits to RM&M exploitation. High King Toto IV of the Empire allowed the marriage of his second daughter, the Princess Elizabeth Callahan to Chateau to ensure Noropian support of the mining industry. Later, he learned that Elizabeth was secretly conducting an affair with John Ngyuen, then the president of Imitora. Chateau was enraged, and challenged Ngyuen to a duel. Ngyuen refused, and Chateau's whiskey addled mind took it as an insult from Rear Admiral Sir Jeffery Williams of Larkinia (who had just been made a Knight of the Empire) and subsquently challenged him to a duel. Williams accepted, and shot Chateau through the eye at ten paces.

Name: Nicomedo Sabino
Age at death: 57
Cause of death: inhalation of arsenic and sulfur dust
Quick bio: For twenty years, Nicomedo Sabino (a moderate) was leader of the Tharian Seccesionist Party. He fought hard for complete Tharian independence, and was the parties most valuable asset. After an assasination attempt on pro-Commonwealth High King James III, certain Tharian terrorists thought that the death of Sabino may trigger anti-Commonwealth riots in Sentry Island. Sabino was assasinated without ever knowing he was a target.

Name: Scott C. Hudson[/b]
Age at death: 34
Cause of death: High caliber sniper's bullet in the back of the head
Quick bio: Hudson was born a moderatly wealthy landowner in Noropia, whose sheep grazing land happened to be some of the best coal land in the Dominion. After a vacation to Gadsan along with his mineralogist brother, Hudson discovered a large, unclaimed patch of iron ore in the mountains south-east of Lakeriverwood. Acting quickly, he managed to secure rights to the land and a large amount of venture capital from the United Banking Concerns of Lakeriverwood. Hudson then set up the only successful challenge to Royal Mining and Manufacturing’s monopoly on the Iansislean steel market. RM&M responded by causing the sinking of his only large ore freighter, the HSS Scott C. Hudson, in a monsoon off Cape Deliverance, Noropia. Rumor has it that Hudson was just about to strike a deal to acquire a new ship when he was shot, arguably by agents paid by RM&M.

Name: H.I.M. High King Toto IV of Callahan
Age at death: 51
Cause of death: Pneumonia
Quick bio: Ruled as the High King of the Empire for fifteen largely uneventful years. The tail end of his reign saw the end of Iansislean isolationism, as a party was sent to the First Third World Conference in Golden Agate, Larkinia. Had two sons, James and Brian, and three daughters, Jessica, Elizabeth, and Alice. Caught cold while on tour of the rampart guards; died less than a week later.

Age at death: 26
Cause of death: Snapped spinal chord
Quick Bio: One of the elite King’s I Grenadiers, charged with protecting the High King. Died at the Veritas Conference in Effit when he fell down a staircase.

Name: Tomas Walten, alias “The Liberator”
Age at death: 34
Cause of death: Hanged by the neck
Quick bio: Growing up in a seedy section of Sentry Island’s Harbor City, Walten learned at an early age to hate the imperialistic Iansisleans and all they represented. At the age of eleven, he was badly injured in a fight, giving him the trademark scar across his neck. Walten first started using the nickname ‘the Liberator’ to impress his friends; later, as a serious member of a political movement. The Liberator convinced then-Archduke Sentry Island to go through with a plan to execute High King James III at his twenty-third birthday celebration. Was caught and hanged for the murder of Nicomedo Sabino, the attempted regicide of James III, and several lesser charges.

(These are just characters I’ve killed off in peaceful RPs. If I were to try and track down every military man I’d introduced and quickly killed off, I’m sure I’d go crazy...er. Also, I’m sure there’s (plenty) more I’m forgetting, but...yeah. This’ll do for now.)

Name: Fenix Hyashiari

Cause of Death: Disputed between Stinger missile and helicopter crash
Brief Bio: Fenix was the People Representative of Cyberutopia, and was an extremely popular leader. He led the country into a golden age, which ended abruptly with the start of the civil war incited by the tyrant Cortez, in which Fenix's helicopter was shot down by a rebel Stinger missile as he tried to escape from the besieged Governmental Square.

Name: Jacab Izair
Age at Death: 34
Cause of Death: Gunshot to the head, execution style
Brief Bio: Was the Captian of the Pheonix, the flagship of the massive Cyberutopian fleet. An amazing strategest, never lost a battle. Was killed in a covert operation during the civil war in which the main portion of the fleet was commandeered by rebels.

Name: Xynzaru Migashi
Age at Death: 55
Cause of Death: Beating
Brief Bio: Xynzaru was the Head of Defense for Cyberutopia. He was a determined man who never gave up, remaining defiant to the rebels as to the secrets of the encrypted intel records until his own demise. Found and ordered the disarming of all but one of the 20 or so nuclear bombs placed in Cyberutopia through it's history. Is survived by his son Duo, who is expected to take over leadership of the country once Cortez is dead.

Name: ? Kurosian (AKA Kurosian I, Kurosian Snr, Director Kurosian, comrade Director Kurosian, The Butcher of Hamhung (less officially, of course))
Age at death: Unknown. Late middle aged.
Cause of death: Strangulation during beating (assassination).
Quick bio: Comrade Director Kurosian was the beloved second head of the Choson Peoples' Republic of Dra-pol, serving his post for many years. Kurosian was Director at the end of Dra-pol's near sixty year isolation, and faced the considerable task of holding together the fabric of the republic during its unwanted reintroduction to world affairs- a process which saw the outbreak of the Three Day War (to Dra-pol) or Kurosian's Rage (to the republic's Quinntonian foe).
Director Kurosian averted the collapse of the republic by faking his own death and placing his son (Kuroisan II- the Second Butcher of Hamhung) in the Central Directorature. His son's later defiance and refusal to relinquish control brought on a brief civil war -quickly won by Kurosian Senior's loyalists- and the massively bloody renewal of the Crusader Wars with the Quinntonian coalition.
Kurosian over-saw the beginning of Dra-pol's economic recovery and the nation's defiant military resistance against massive odds. In doing so he earned himself accusations pertaining to war crimes. During a diplomatic tour of the Chinese Peoples' Republic the tiny middle aged man was attacked in the toilets of a conference hall, and along with an attendant was beaten to death.
This assassination did little to alter the situation in Dra-pol, as Kurosian's most loyal friend, comrade Secretary Hotan, took temporary charge, Directing in Kurosian's fashion.

Several other minor characters have died in Dra-pol's war-torn modern history- few save Hotan have had chance to develop worthwhile reputations. Hotan himself paid for that fact with a simultanious (to Kurosian's attack) attempt on his own life. Wounded three times Hotan killed his attackers and -barely- survived. The first ever named Drapoel character, a young girl called Yasuki, was killed scarcely minutes after the nation's discovery by Quinntonia (a few pages into the nation's RP life). Several characters remain of uncertain fate, and may yet resurface- be it in future social interactions or at their own funeral. Kurosian II himself is either in Quinntonian custody or else executed by them.

NAME: Fitzgerald Kanosis
Age: 25
Cause of death: Self-sacrifice
Quick bio: First Psycho rabbit PM. Led many social revolutions, and was kidnapped by a terrorist group. A spec-op team had scaled the building he was in when he and the terrorist leader fell out of the window. They both grabbed the rope which the spec-op team was still on. The strain started breaking it. Kanosis cut the rope and he and the terrorist l;eader plummetted to their deaths.

Name: Aun'O T'au Shi'ur
Age of Death: 45 Tau'cyrs (Roughly 42 standard years)
Cause of Death: Sniper shot to the head
Breif Biography: O'Shi'ur was a great general in the Tau army before he retired to a more streamline carrer as a politician. He had a firm standing in democracy and was only a day away from ending his case to the Tau'fa regarding how the Tau Caste system should be run. With his recent demise the case has offered to anyone willing an able to defend it. But at the moment such as person as not yet arisen. His assassain is yet to be found and brought to justice.

Cause of Death: Shot by Coo Coo Cola-worshipping terrorists when they took the Syskeyian Parliament hostage earlier in 2003.

Cause of death: accidentally chopped in twain by large chunk of OMF hull.
Quick Bio: Foreign Minister for the former Peoples Republic of Montecito, author of the Area 51 Regional Constitution. After the PCC bought out the Montecitan government he was assigned a minor diplomatic post aboard OMF City. [OOC: This had its own storylines but because of the $(@*$7 "old posts suck, new posts are better" rule the thread has been lost. :( ]
