If the ns mods were greek gods which one would they be?
PS: They all can't be Hades ruler of the under world

Hephaestus was the god of forging, iron-working, etc. In Roman terms his name was Vulcan.
The bad news: he was a Cyclops, and butt-ugly even by their standards.
The good news: he was married to Aphrodite (Yow!).

He was also lame in one leg, and Aphrodite wasn't always a very faithful wife to him. On the plus side, he made lots of neat contraptions and devices, from golden servants to Zeus's lightning bolts.

Hephaestos wasn't a cyclops, he was just kinda ugly. You don't see too many temples to him.

Sorry, I was under the impression that he was. Maybe he was just a reformed Titan like Prometheus and I'm all confused. . .

Hum, I tink it would be cool to be a Greek God.

It's pretty cool, when Zeus isn't throwing his temper tantrums. (Unless, that is, you are Zeus.)

Monotheistic gods weild more power.
Unfortuantely, they don't have wives/ lovers.

He was lame but not one-eyed. He was a standard one of the gods, not a Titan. I think he was a son of Chronos and Rhea, or else a son of Zeus.

Hephaestos wasn't a cyclops and I don't think he was particularly ugly, but by god standards he was not graceful or fair to look at. He also had a maimed leg, becuase Zeus once tossed him off of Olympus. He was married to Aphrodite, but unfortunatly she cheated on him quite a bit.

Some of these are not Gods.....
They all are, just not all well known ones
Khronos/Chronos - God of Time. With his long grey beard and wrinkly visage, he's the original Father Time
Ouranos/Uranus - Great primeval God of the Sky. Born of GAIA
Kronos/Cronos - Father of the Gods and one of the TITANS
Rhea - Mother of the Gods. Married to her brother CRONUS, she gave birth to ZEUS, POSEIDON, HADES, DEMETER, HERA and HESTIA

As the ultimate parents below Gaia and Ouranos though, I think they should get some credit.

I don't think [mantle] would really want to be associated with Kronos anyway, not the type of connections you'd want. :)
Rhea though was a good mother - tricking her husband/brother into swallowing a stone so she could save the last godchild from being swallowed instead.
Gotta wonder how the people then actually managed to come up with such elaborate and screwed up stories in the first place. I want some of whatever they were smoking back then. :)

Googled this:
APOLLO was the god of prophesy, music and healing.
Like most of his fellow Olympians, Apollo did not hesitate to intervene in human affairs. It was he who brought about the demise of the mighty Achilles. Of all the heroes besieging the city of Troy in the Trojan War, Achilles was the best fighter by far. He had easily defeated the Trojan captain Hector in single combat. But Apollo helped Hector's brother Paris slay Achilles with an arrow.
When someone died suddenly, he was said to have been struck down by one of Apollo's arrows. Homer's epic of the Trojan War begins with the god causing a plague by raining arrows down upon the Greek camp.
As god of music, Apollo is often depicted playing the lyre. He did not invent this instrument, however, but was given it by Hermes in compensation for cattle theft. Some say that Apollo did invent the lute, although he was best known for his skill on the lyre.
He won several musical contests by playing this instrument. In one case he bested Pan, who competed on his own invention, the shepherd's pipe. On this occasion, King Midas had the bad sense to say that he preferred Pan's music, which caused Apollo to turn his ears into those of an ass.
I do not play any musical instruments, so the last two paragraphs do not apply. But the first bits . . . :D [Returns to his rooftop, where a scope, clock and laser target illuminator await . . . ]

Wow, thanks Danya :) :)
Greek Goddess Athena
Goddess of Wisdom,
Strategy and Craftsmanship
Athena was the ultimate career woman. As goddess of war, the greek goddess Athena was a superb strategist; her presence on your side assured a win. The Roman goddess Minerva was her counterpart.
But the goddess Athena preferred using her wisdom in the role of judge, negotiating and problem-solving in order to keep the peace.
The goddess Athena was a superb strategist and many of the Greek myths recount tales of her help given to various gods, goddesses, and heroes as they went into battle or faced seemingly impossible tests.
A goddess of many talents, "Athena Goddess of Crafts" was an expert artisan herself. The goddess Athena was celebrated as the patron of weavers, potters, goldsmiths, sculptors, musicians, and horsemen. Athena was credited with the invention of the yoke and the bridle, the sailing ship, and the flute and trumpet.
Associated with the urbane life and the city, during peacetime the greek goddess Athena devoted her considerable skills seeing to the progress of civilization, including her patronage of the arts and literature.
