OOC: FYI, I am Capsule Corporation's player.
In the abyssal space between The Milky Way and Andromeda, the Red Dragon sits on her throne, overseeing a recently ordered attack. A small battlegroup had been sent to a Capsule Corporation Micro-Colony on a planet in the Delta Quadrant. The miners did not know what they were looking for, all they knew was that something was down there. The Red Dragon knew exactly what was trapped within that planet. A weapon, that if posessed by the Capsule Corporation, would greatly increase their chances of defeating her. She could not let this happen.
Battleships and fighters of an unknown technology appeared suddenly in orbit of he planet, classified simply as RC-104. One particular ship was rougly 12 Kilometers long, skinny and tubular, with some odd features. As soon as it drops out of FTL, it begins building up a massive amount of energy.
Immediately, the single Moroni-Class Battlecruiser guarding the planet, Relocates via space fold to the site of the attacking battlegroup. Volleys of torpedoes and Rail Cannons fling towards the many attack ships, knocking out a shield here, and a weapons system there, but nothing would help the inevitable doom of the poor Capsule Battlecruiser. Six seperate Heavy Laser weapons beam onto the Moroni-class, piercing through its shields and etching through the hull. One of the laser blasts punches right through the main shield, through the bridge deflector, and hits the command center, exploding it into a quick fireball. The ship began to lose power just before a full wing of fighters leaves the bay of the battlecruiser to meet the incoming fighters from the armies of the Red Dragon. The fighters engage in a full firefight around the disabled Capsule Corp Cruiser.
The Moroni-Class Cruiser sends a distress call out, but all that gets transmitted along with a quick SOS, is a dreadful image of the 12km long ship pumping energy into the planet. The energy gets the planet gradually spinning faster and faster, the core overheating and tectonics shattering apart. The 200 some archaeologists and marines on the planet are instantly killed as the planet begins to glow from all the energy. The Red Dragon attack group dissappears into FTL as the planet flies apart past its own gravty well. A few CC fighters manage to escape, but the Moroni-Class is smacked by a chunk of flying continent, ending the transmission.
Whatever was on the planet, is no more.
