In order to aid in destroying the foul imperial presence in Asia, we are attacking the Korean peninsula and China. We are sure that they will agree to aid our glorious campaign!

((For the record, before WW2 the Chinese were in the middle of a civil war and were easily defeated. Korea was actually in Japanese hands before then))

We see no point of this attack on China and Korea.

We demand damn good reasons why we shouldn't aid them.

I, King Agardeloth recommend that we commend to him 'good luck' for he shall need it if he hopes to win. If he does not, he shall join the dead in the Corpselands..

No this is all part of a well established RP, Serious RP. theres already 7 other threads linked to this, probably more I've forgotten about.

With Iansisle, Chaing Mai, Walmington on Sea, Calarca (me), Hainan, Ercolana/Agrianto, The Trucoid States, and a few others.

Please Butt out.

And Wabu, you'd best add "Invite Only" to the title.

Edit, I forgot Der Kriegsmarine, who started all this by sinking the Liberty...

Anyone just jumping in for a lil war and no responsibility will be ignored. this is aimed at Chaig Mai and Allies.

Hmm... It's getting pretty full... and late into the RP, but TM Der K, Iansisle, and WoS. they may let you in. but it's strictly WW2ish era RP. a lot of the chinks still had muzzle loaders in the back provinces.

Everyones forgiven, so please no more posts til Chian Mai wakes up and can reply to Wabu.

But FYI, the fact it mentioned WW2 should have sparked a lil thought that this was RP not NS realtime fun.

OOC:*just woke up* ermmm, wrong target....my territory (as agreed with Iansisle) is Thailand,Laos and North Vietnam ;)
13-09-2003, 13:39
North Vietnam didnt exist, it was all collectively French Indo-China

North Vietnam didnt exist, it was all collectively French Indo-Chinain this timeline, the existence of Chiang Mai and Iansislean colonialism have prevented the french ever getting a hold in Galla-China (indochina)

Yes, I think he's taking on China, Korea, Chiang Mai, and Hainan at the same time, probably assuming that the first two won't put up much of a fight, since Japan had few problems with them IRL (though I wouldn't imagine he's going to be able to take the whole of China).
13-09-2003, 15:44
[hmmm, Korea was (more or less) a vassal of china and wiht no ways to really fight back when Japan invaded, China is in the mist of a civil war, the Nationalists who control most of it have lots of troops lying around, luckily for the Japs however these "soldiers" were mostly more along the ligns of human shields  since this is presumbaly well after the Long march, Mao would have a Soviet-trained and -armed force in the North of the country however, and the Yanks will prolly help out the Kuomintang abit ...]

Mainwaring grunted "This is damned complicated, Wilson, damned complicated. These Asians can't fight a straight war. Divisions left and right. Who knows which way any of them will swing?"

"Yes" Replied the tested deputy PM "You'd never see that sort of Balkanisation in Europe."

"Ah, no! The very thing I was thinking, Wils.." Mainwaring stopped and gave Wilson that stare. The deputy PM did his best not to smile.

(Ooc:Okay, so they probably didn't use the term Balkanisation in this time-frame, but the principle is not disimilar in old and post Great War Europe.)

No. At Calarca's request, I only put this up for RP assistance. This is taking place in 1938. And I'm talking with Chiang Mai. I think I'll convince him to invade Calarca for me.
